You will find this secluded retreat at the end of a third-of-a-mile private road in Chazy, New York, where 1500 feet of private lakefront shelter 100 feet of private beach. 35 minutes south of Montreal, 15 minutes north of Plattsburgh New York and 1 hour east of the Adirondack Park, you won't find yourself at a loss for something to see or do.
Private and owner-operated, this air-conditioned, two-bedroom cottage sleeps 4 comfortably. Newly refurbished and furnished, a fully-equipped kitchen and comfortable livingroom with fireplace are waiting to welcome you. A generous, modern, full-sized bath with shower offers all the comforts of home. When you are not enjoying a breezy afternoon on the large screened porch or patio, or lounging under the shady maple with a favorite book, an expansive lawn will lead you to the shore. There, the new 70'dock provides a perfect place for fishing, boating, canoeing or swimming. If you're bringing your boat we have a 4000 lb. boat lift for your use. Paddle along the shoreline and meet our resident, great-blue heron family.
The fishing is awesome! Located near the Ferryall Reef, this is a fisherman's paradise. The bass fishermen around here throw back the 2 pounders! Great Chazy River public boat launch is located 1.5 miles down the road. Cast away!
You will find that evenings are magical on Long Point. Do not miss the show as fireflies light up an early evening. Warm yourself by a late-night campfire and see stars so bright you can reach out and touch them.
Make it your home for a week or two this summer. You will plan to come back year after year.
