Although many of the condo's in our Home Owner Association are open to the pool, we like that our home is near the pool but not open to the pool. Our home is open to the desert and local birds and quail.
Separated by a patio wall, its great bird watching.

High ceilings, bright and cheerful and located in a quiet neighborhood in the town of Carefree. Just two blocks north of Sundial Park, an easy walk to all the events that happen there, yet very private and secluded.
THIS IS NOT A VILLA AT THE CAREFREE RESORT.
Purchased for out own golf getaway, we are excited to stay and play and to share it with other Arizona visitors.
It's a really nice spot, private,sunny and bright a great property,. Situated just a couple blocks from Sundial park. The home is one leval, gound and is not a dark "villa" condo. Don't mistake us for one of those dark 2 story units. This is a small private HOA on the ground floor.
It is a wonderful get away home.
Nestled among the cactus in the Arizona foothills. Lovingly decorated with lots of attention to detail and vacation in mind. You will find this house filled with wonderful surprises like beautiful linens, soft thirsty towels, great dishes and glass wear, new appliances including an extra quiet dishwasher, electric range with glass top, stainless steel refrigerator and beautiful granite countertops. The living room has a soft leather sectional for viewing TV, DVD's. We have hung our own art throughout the house and find that folks come year after year becuase it is such a comfy home.
The condo has an east-facing patio, which opens to the desert, a private space for morning coffee and the paper. This bright airy condominium has two bedrooms and two master baths. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom and there is a den for reading. The washer and dryer are full size. There is an attached 1 car garage, and extra parking for guests. The shared pool and hot tub are just a short stroll out the front door, and you are living away from the pool noise and traffic.
There are 6 golf courses within a few miles, tennis with optional membership, just up the hill. Take a short drive north to for your Scottsdale shopping and dining, yet in Carefree you do not have to put up with the city traffic. It is a real vacation property. Time to start planning your 2010-2011 vacation to sunny AZ.

Great golf, part of a real community, not gated, close to everything except awful traffic.
Carefree is a nice place with community theater, local entertainment, great golf and a healthy lifestyle.

We wanted to purchase a home where we could settle in and take advantage of the great "winter weather" and play some golf, ride bikes and enjoy the dessert.
We had rented other homes in the area, but were often discouraged that they were run down and not taken care of, lacked the things we needed to just cook and enjoy the lifestyle ... and expensive.
My husband is an architect/builder in Colorado for 30 years. He specialized in Southwest residential homes, on the golfcourses around our home in Colorado.
I am retired advertising consultant and decorator-wanna-be.

We enjoyed this condo the month of February 2011. It is very nicely decorated with a kitchen that is equipped with it all. We enjoyed the patio with it's desert view and the wildlife that stops by to visit is great!! Loved walking to the town of Carefree. The owners were very helpful with anything we asked. Thank you. We will be back!!

Enjoyed a wonderful stay in a this delightful place only a short walk to the town center and Spanish village. Enjoyed the wildlife of the back deck including visits by an Arizona Cardinal. Highly recommend Carefree and the Cowboy-Up Condo. Thank you!

We spent about two months in this very well equipped and comfortable condo. We felt very much at home and quite comfortable. The owners of this condo have outfitted and maintained this rental just as we would have if the tables were turned. We particularly enjoyed the patio. California quail and other native wildlife visited almost every afternoon. We would not hesitate to recommend this vacation rental to anyone.

This is beautiful decorated condo with a master suite on each side of the living area which makes it comfortable for 2 couples or a family. I enjoyed watching the birds on the patio and loved taking walks in the neighborhood and to town. I gave it 4 stars because the pool was not heated during the month we were there. (March).
Owner response:HOA said it was a mistate on their part. Next year it WILL be heated............ sorry.
