The house and property were perfect. Easy to find and excellent access to downtown Evergreen, where you don't feel like a tourist. Amazing views and cozy yet spacious house that exceeded our expectation. The gravel hill leading up to the house is pretty steep, and was a little icy when we first arrived. I can imagine in snowy or heavy icy conditions, might be a little tricky to navigate, so I definitely recommend at the very least a front wheel drive vehicle and a little momentum. Definitely will consider staying here again. Communication with the owners was smooth and easy and it was a great value as well.

Yes the road is a little steep, but you can also come from the other way so you're going down, and you'll reach our drive before it gets as steep. Ask me, next time you visit! Great Place To Stay!

This home is better than advertised. The views are amazing, and the property is beautiful. We enjoyed all of our time hanging out on the deck, and relaxing in the hot tub, which also has great views. There are great hikes within walking distance, and Evergreen is only a 5 minute drive away. I would definitely recommend this property for anyone looking for a nice getaway in the Evergreen area.

Thank you just isn't enough...Beautiful isn't enough....there just aren't human words to describe how wonderful this place and experience was!!! We got the best view of the mountains from the deck and we soaked in every minute if looking at it. The sights were wonderful. It was just an all around awesome vacation...we willl be back!!! The place was so homey, the beds were comfortable, the house was clean, it felt like a home filled with love and peace! Thank you for all you've done to this place and for making it available to other people. I LOVE THIS VACATION!! Thank you!!

Stunning Views

We really enjoyed our stay at this house which is a few minutes drive up the hill from the main street in Evergreen. The house is well equipped and spacious and we enjoyed the Hot tub in particular. The views are fantastic. Makes a good base for exploring the older towns in the area like Georgetown and Idaho Springs and only about 45 mins drive back into the centre of Denver. Or just sit and enjoy the peace and quiet and the view! Would recommend.

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Great time in Evergreen!

Lovely home. We Iowans weren't used to this Colorado terrain, but pretty soon we were zipping along as if we'd lived there forever. Truly gorgeous views. Nice decor. Comfy leather couches, beautiful tile, carpeting, dark wood, gorgeous fixtures. Woodland Park, CO friends came up and stayed in the guest house. So nice to have additional sleeping quarters with their own bath, etc. Enjoyed sitting on the patio at night, under the stars, looking out over lights from distant homes. Saw a gray fox stroll down the drive and some deer taking a nap across the road. We were in Evergreen for a wedding so didn't actually have a lot of time at the house. Very comfortable beds! Never had the chance to use the hot tub, but it looked great and would've been fun. We had great cell phone and internet service. Be aware there are quite a few stairs, but it's worth the trip.

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

A Wonderful Vacation - A Great Place to Visit!

We loved the house and the area, it was a "Dream" Vacation! Perfect for a family, plenty of room, our grandchildren were so pleased, and so excited to be there! The views were just awesome, and we saw lots of wild life in the area, including a herd of elk! The friendly fox came by more than once, most of our family were able to get a glimpse of him. We highly recommend this house, you will not be disappointed!

Stunning, Spectatular views

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at this wonderful house in the mountains. As in the title, the views are breathtaking and we enjoyed coffee daily on the deck soaking them in. The house is fully equipped, the beds are comfortable, and we had plenty of room for our family (3 children ages 21, 20, and 16) to spread out. The town of Evergreen is charming and full of characater. The location is excellent as a home base-as we took many jaunts to Mt. Evans, Golden, Boulder, lakes, hiked, and it was always a pleasure to come home to our house on the mountain! The hot tub was also a plus that felt warm and healing after a long day of hiking/exploring. The only thing that we could not find were trails within walking distance from the house. Sandi was very helpful in answering all of our questions and concerns! We will definately recommend this house to our friends and relatives!

The pictures didn't do the house justice. The view is stunning! We enjoyed our stay at this property - wishing we could have stayed longer.

We absolutely loved the cabin. Wonderful views of the Rocky Mountains and a great cabin with very nice amenities. The cabin is newly renovated and it definitely exceeded our expectations. We hope to come back to stay again.

I've stayed at Colorado Dream Vacation multiple times throughout the years and it never fails to provide serenity, comfort and peace. We love the new look of the house with all the updates. Sandi always is so accommodating and makes you feel like this is your home. I can't wait to return in September when the Aspens change. The best part is making dinner in the beautiful kitchen and eating with my family and friends in front of the huge window overlooking the mountains. It's truly a sight to see. Thanks Sandi!

What an AMAZING weekend we had at the house! The view is outstanding as is the house itself. The kitchen (just like the rest of the house) is so well equipped, we had everything we needed. I booked this house and cabin for my 50th B-day celebration, because of the view and privacy. It certainly lived up to descriptions and photos from the website. We spent most of our time at the kitchen table or out on the deck enjoying the everchanging Colorado sky. The hot tubs were warm and relaxing. We went to Red Rocks Ampitheatre for a concert, which was a magical experience and an easy, scenic drive from the house. We also enjoyed hikes in the open space parks in the area. I hope to come back and I certainly recommend this house and cabin.

What a wonderful experience staying in this home was! We stayed two weeks with eight people and were perfectly comfortable and satisfied. We found ourselves wanting to cancel all of our plans so we could stay home every day.

What a wonderful adventure !!! Beautiful home furnished with everything promised and more. A few things need attention but nothing that impaired our enjoyment of this cozy retreat. I love to cook for my family, so the open concept of the home allowed me to prepare numerous meals [in the well equiped kitchen] while still remaining part of the group, no matter where they were gathered, even in the hot tub[ only 30 feet from the kitchen window] even the hummingbird kept me entertained. My only complaint, I had to leave. We were there for my grand daughters wedding at "THE BARN IN THE MEADOWS" so that monopolized a lot of our time. If I ever have the opportunity to return I will schedule a few days for myself when all others have left, just to enjoy the peace and tranquility Again thank you Sandi for allowing us the enjoyment of your home GOD BLESS, ALICE

This home far exceeded our expectations. The home is nicely decorated with beautiful furnishings..not castaways from the owners own home. Nicely equipped with kitchen needs, bath needs, etc.. Your house is wonderful. It was the best vacation spot ever. The neighborhood fox came by to visit a few times. I was here for a wedding and it was perfect. Your extra touches make it a welcomed place to stay and I'm recommending it to my family.

We love your place Very relaxing! The neighborhood fox made a visit, thought he might even join us on the deck. Enjoyed watching the sky change throughout the day and rainstorms blow over. The accomodations are lovely! Thank you for a nice vacation.

Wow! Great views, great house, great everything. Saw lots of elk, deer everyday and stayed out on the deck in the evening. I would highly recommend this place to friends and family. Iy was truly a home away from home!

This was the PERFECT retreat for my husband and me to spend our 25th anniversary! The view that we had from the cabin was absolutely breath-taking and the hot tub was a perfect way to relax after a long day on the slopes. We loved our wonderful week end here at your beautiful home! The views were breathtaking from morning to evening! We hiked up through the meadow & climed to the top of the big rocks for a wonderful view. Deer were waiting for us on the drive as we arrived and the little fox came by our last night to say good bye! A very fun week end away from everything to just enjoy the quiet, the beautiful weather, and God's beauty. We're anxious to bring our family next time!

Our family loved your home!
