From the moment I first spoke to Amanda when we were looking for a rental property, I knew right away that this was going to be a good experience! Everything was exactly as promised. The Mango Bungalow is pristine, welcoming, tastefully decorated and met every expectation. Even our little dog's needs were anticipated (pet hair rollers, dog food bowls, etc.) The local amenities and beaches are super. Our Jack Russell Terrier, Nougat, had her first beach experience at the nearby off-leash Doggy Beach. We BBQ'd on the patio, dipped into the heated pool, enjoyed the WiFi to chat with our friends back home via Skype, shopped at nearby Malls, and watched TV when the weather wasn't so great. We drove to Bonita Springs, so were able to bring some stuff with us, but even if we'd flown, we could have stepped into the house and not needed anything except food. This home is the antithesis of the horror stories you read about vacation home rentals. An absolute gem.

Mango Bungalow was more than we expected and Amanda and Bill went out of their way to make our visit as comfortable as possible. Our dogs were welcomed as much as we were and all the little details that make for a home-away-from-home were part of the package. It was a real treat to be in that house.

We stayed at "The Mango" from 10/10- 10/24/10- and had a wonderful time. The house was very clean, everything you could possibly need is there, and in great condition. The area was so peaceful and quiet. I dealt with Amanda (owner) who was very nice, and concerned with our needs. The location is wonderful. Only a few minutes to the beach (people and doggy). It was great to be able to get in the car, and be able to get to the beach to see the beautiful sunsets, in just a few minutes. Our golden retriever absolutely loved the doggy beach. He was able to play and get exercise every day. We would highly recommend this lovely home, and will definetly be staying there again, next year. (hopefully for a longer amount of time)

Mango Bungalow is delightful set in its garden with lovely trees and shrubs - we actually had fresh lemons from the tree to put in our drinks. The property is spacious and very well maintained throughout and the carefully chosen furniture and fittings give it a special warmth and character. It is the best equipped villa we have ever stayed in. There really is everything you need from wi-fi to washing up gloves, BBQ to bikes. The owner Amanda has thought of everything to make a stay here relaxed and trouble free. Outside there is plenty of space and comfortable furniture in the lanai and by the heated pool for sitting relaxing and dining and the pool is in the sun for most of the day. The house book is a mine of information about places to visit, restaurants and shops and things to do and see in the area. We loved relaxing and walking on the nearby beaches and the beach parking permit provided was very usefull especially for the beautiful Barefoot beach only minutes away. Other favorites were Bonita Beach, Delnor-Wiggins and Lovers Key. As we are interested in nature and wildlife we enjoyed visits to Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, Ding Darling Wildlife reserve, 6 Mile Cypress Slough and Lakes Park. Amanda is a friendly and helpful owner and Mango Bungalow is a wonderful place to stay. It is in a quiet neighbourhood but within easy distance of the beaches and places of interest. We went home with many happy memories of our holiday and hope to return.

We were delighted to find such a great rental for the two of us plus our German Shorthair dog. All three of us loved our stay there! It is easy to recommend it! We found it well located for what we like about the area - between Fort Meyers Beach, the Bonita Springs Art League, Naples, and beautiful beaches! The huge lanai and pool were a treat as were the many local restaurants nearby. Amanda's "welcome booklet" was a great introduction to the area as well as the condo. It was nice to have an owner so available if we had any questions or concerns. And the lemon tree just kept on producing the juiciest lemons ever! We loved using them!

We enjoyed a really lovely relaxing week at Mango Bungalow. Amanda thinks of everything and we did not need to go out and buy 'extras' that we have had to do when staying in some rental properties. The bungalow is in a very quiet residential area, but close enough to stores and a pleasant stroll to the beach. Everything was clean and well maintained and the pool was very relaxing. We are already planning a return visit.

We loved the house! We felt at home as soon as we walked through door. It had everything we needed, including beautiful weather. We love the feel of the neighborhood and didn't mind not staying directly on the beach. The owners are wonderful and very accomdating. It was great to go out on the lani and sit by the pool each morning and listen to the birds and enjoy the surroundings. The plants, trees and flowers create your own private peaceful escape. It was such a nice change to not have to wait on elevators and share your outdoor space and pool with strangers. We took our small dog and he loved it. We are already planning our next trip.

We stayed at Mango Bungalow for 6 weeks, January and February 2009. We loved the house and found it well equipped with everything we needed and enjoyed using the bikes that were supplied to us. Amanda and Bill were very responsive to any requests we had and we appreciated being allowed to bring our "furry kids" with us who also enjoyed their time on the lanai. We have read all the comments on this website and agree 100% with the statements. The house is immaculate and is exactly how it is presented on this website. It is a very private and we enjoyed picking lemons from the property for our refreshments. We have booked a return date for next year and we can't wait to return.

We stayed at the Mango Bungalow mid August 2008 and had a great time. Though we did get hit with Tropical Storm Fay, our family was able to spend time together. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The home had a nice open floor plan, which made watching our toddler much easier. Thanks for helping through the storm and for a great stay.

My wife and I have stayed in all of Amanda's Bonita Springs properties including the Mango Bungalo during the Christmas and NewYear period '06/'07. We have always enjoyed our stay and we will return again this December. The description on the website is accurate and the home is fully equiped with everything needed for a great relaxing vacation. The kitchen has new appliances and all furnishings are clean and modern. The pool area is professionally serviced and completely private. The neighborhood is very convenient to shopping, beaches and entertainment; it is also well kept, quiet and safe. If you are considering a vacation at this property, you will not be disappointed. We spent ten great days at Mango Bungalow in April. The house was just what we needed, clean, decorated with a feel of a home. We "lived" out on the screened porch and lanai and never had to turn the AC on! The beaches are perfect. Amanda felt like an instant friend and on the way out the door to the airport, we picked bananas off the tree! A welcome change from corporate owned houses.

We had a relaxing 9 day stay in the Mango Bungalow in Jan./Feb.'08. The house was very clean, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed. Four bicycles, pool toys, and a stash of beach towels were nice extras. Information about local restaurants, stores, beaches, and maps was also available and helpful. We loved the open feel and the large enclosed porch and heated pool area. It was a quiet neighborhood, yet close to main roads, restaurants, shopping and the beach. Fresh flowers and a basket of fresh oranges and key limes welcomed us. The owner was personable and most accommodating, eager to see that everything was to our liking. If we return to the Bonita Springs area in the future, we would hope to stay here again.
