Perfect for family or group vacations. Experience the incredible beauty of the north shore from our 4 bedroom, 2 bath, 2100 s.f. beach home. Upstairs wrap around glass overlooks the uncrowded beach just 120 steps away. Directly behind is lush jungle hillside, the border to 1000's of acres of private nature conservancy land. All tucked into an secluded, kamani tree lined cul de sac between the Wainiha and Haena neighborhoods.
Our Home uniquely blends the “Old Hawaii” flavor with all the up to date amenities and comforts. The great room and large lanai have 270 degree panoramic natural views. The gourmet equipped kitchen has everything a discerning chef will need. Each room has lovely, stylish island decor. Upstairs is an airy king Bedroom with bath, and a small separate office. Downstairs are 2 queen bedrooms and the master suite, with 4 poster hand carved teak bed, his/her walk in closets, whirlpool tub, and private lanais. There is a separate laundry area and beach gear is provided.
We are located in the heart of the most beautiful 10 miles of the island, close to Tunnels Beach, and set between 2 of the top 5 rated beaches on the islands. You can walk the beach the entire final 2 miles to Ke’e, where the road ends and the famous Napali coast begins. Or you can stroll the beach just 300 yards to the Hanalei Colony Resort, for the only (award winning) restaurant and coffee house on this part of the island. Or just take our beach chairs and head the few steps to the beach out front!

Dear Gator (our dog), Gator - you'd love it! All the smells, chickens that you would chase. We went to Hanalei bay and you would look like a seal when your swimming! Speaking of seals - you would've LOVED the monk seal we found on the beach, you would've gone BIZARK about the cow we found and the lizards by the tree, AND the 2 geckos. You would also have loved the chicken we found in our backyard, and the chicken nests along with the cow in the field. You probebly would not have done much to over the chickens because we have chickens. But would LOVE IT! Sincerely, Teya (age 8)Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

My first trip to Hawaii, it was breath taking, so beautiful! Thank you so much for offering your home to lucky people like us. Your home is wonderful, all the artwork and paintings I love! Thank you for providing the chairs and beach towels, it was helpful. We went snorkeling at Tunnels beach, tubing through the sugar mill ditches, hiked the trail at the end of the road (one of the most beautiful hikes I've ever taken), paddle boarding with a tour group that took us to a zip line lava pool, Smith's luau (though it could have been better/not what I was expecting), and watched sun rises and sets along the fantastic beach. Thank you to Patricia for coming and chatting with us, giving us good advice and taking care of us, you have a great personality! Love, Love, Love the farmers markets and fruit stands. I come from New Mexico and live in Elko Nevada right now, great to get away from desert and the cold snowy winter. Thank you so much! I can't wait to come back! P.S. Captain Andy's sunset sailing was the best out of the trip; saw a whale and a turtle.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This trip was our Christmas gift to our adult children. Funny thing - it was a gift to us as well! Your home was perfect in every way. We tried to cover as much of the island as possible in our 10 days. We're already talking about a return trip where we relax and "hangout" more now that we've seen the sights. The ocean, the hikes, the roosters - it's all good. We're heading back to chilly Colorado to start planning our very own outdoor shower! Mahalo to you for sharing this beautiful place and to Patricia for all she does. Until next time - P.S. We found out we are going to be grandparents!!!Did you find this review helpful? We had such an amazing time in Kauai! Your house is beautiful and we felt very lucky to be staying here. It rained a lot of the time we were here, but tat didn't slow us down one bit! It's true what they say, when it's raining on one part of the island it's sunny on another part! Special thanks to Patricia for recommending the Mermaid Cafe in Kapa'a, it was delicious. Thank you so much! We hope to come back soon!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

From the beginning, Beverly the owner, had excellent communication and made the entire process easy. This was my family's first time in Kauai so we weren't sure what side of the island to stay on. After extensive research and finding Hale Aloha the North Shore was the best choice for us. We couldn't be happier with our entire experience. The house is open on the main floor with lots of windows. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. Perfect for couples. The decor is beachy, but not overdone—we thought it was in very good taste. They have beach chairs, coolers, umbrellas and boogie boards for renter use. There is an outdoor shower and two sets of washers/dryers. The beach across the street is beautiful and we spent several mornings walking along the shoreline with mugs of coffee. Since our stay was in the Winter, the waves were too intense to swim there, but I can see how it would be perfect in other seasons. The cutest town, Hanalei, and best beach, Hanalei Bay, are just a short drive East. Tunnels beach, also fantastic, is only a short walk/drive West. There were seven of us from Oregon in our 20s, 30s and 50s. We had a vacation of equal parts adventure and relaxation. The North Shore is perfect for both and Hale Aloha is the perfect house! Thanks Beverly!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We honeymooned down the road in '87 and returned for our 25th anniversary! It's as amazing as we remembered. This is the best area and the house was great-really appreciated the quality linens and well-equipped kitchen. Weather was fabulous, gorgeous sunrises, sunsets, rainbows and a full moon last night too. Thank you Patricia-and of course Beverly & Doug for your hospitality. Hope it won't take 25 years to return!
