Have fun in Pigeon Forge. Stay on Bentwood Ridge.
Enjoy the quiet and peaceful mountains with all the activities. You'll be away from the crowds when you are at the cabin. This cabin is ONE of just FOUR cabins on undisturbed 16 acre forest ridge.
Take a short walk in the woods. Enjoy the space.
In the summer the hiking in the mountains is absolutely wonderful.
This cabin is called HONEYMOON - ideal for a couple or small family. This cabin has beds for four people (one king and two twin beds).
We have three other cabins at the same location. Our two bedroom/two bath cabins are perfect for either just a couple or a family with children. Sometimes we have two couples share a cabin. Choose from three cabins - Homestead, Mt. Laurel, or Red Bud. The cabins are walking distance apart.
Located just inside the city limits of Pigeon Forge on Wears Valley Road.
Wears Valley is also US 321 on your map. This is the highway from Townsend to Pigeon Forge.
Such a location means it's very handy to shows and attractions such as Dollywood, shopping, Cades Cove, mountain trails - and all the places you will want to visit while in Pigeon Forge.
The cabins are tucked in the ridge. The porch/deck has a hot tub for your relaxation.
Listen to the wild birds and maybe even see a wild turkey stroll by. We've even had reports of BEARS seen in the woods!
Yet as far away as it seems,
this cabin is still only 2 1/2 miles
from the main parkway in Pigeon Forge.
INSIDE the Honeymoon Cabin:
This cabin has a large living area with a wood burning fireplace and flat screen tv. The kitchen features full size appliances -- stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave. The bedroom has a king size bed. There are two twin beds in the loft area as well as a jetted tub. There is a full size washer & dryer on the first floor for your use.
INSIDE our two bedroom cabins:
This house has a nice living area with a wood burning fireplace. There is a full kitchen stocked with everything except food. The first floor bedroom - with a king size bed - - is handy for those who would rather not climb steps. There is a bathroom also on the first floor as well as a full size washer & dryer.
The second floor extra large bedroom also has a king size bed along with a master bath - including the jacuzzi. There is a private deck for two just off the bedroom that looks at into the woods.
The sofa/sleeper can accommodate a couple of children or bring their sleeping bags for the adventure of sleeping next to mom & dad on the second floor. Experience says that sofa sleepers are not comfortable for adults. You need to bring linens for the sofa sleeper.

We had a very nice stay. Thank you. We had some bears come for a visit the morning we were leaving so we were a little late getting out. They decided to stay the morning in one of the trees right outside the cabin. It was a mama bear and three cubs. I’ve attached a some pictures for you. Photography is one of my husband’s hobbies. I’m sure I’ll be in touch for next year.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Over the past fifteen or so years, our family has created a wonderful tradition of spending our spring breaks on family vacations in the Smoky Mountains. After discovering Bentwood Ridge, we have returned to stay at the Mountain Laurel cabin on numerous occasions. During a typical early Spring stay, we usually enjoy spending one day shopping in Pigeon Forge or Sevierville, then we get some firewood at the nearby Kroger and also pick up a pizza on the way back in the evening so we eat supper in front of a nice, cozy fire or maybe just watch TV. We usually spend another day exploring Cades Cove other sections of the Park. The cabin seems very secluded when you sit on the porch, but in actuality restaurants and shopping are conveniently located just a very short drive away. One of my favorite things to do at the cabin is to just sit in the swing on the front porch and read a good book or simply enjoy the view of the woods and surrounding mountains. I am reminded of visiting my grandmother when I was a child - she and I spent many pleasant hours just relaxing and visiting on her front porch swing.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, sightseeing.

Our family had an incredible stay at Mt. Laurel! It is an ideal location--nestled into the hills of the Smokies, peacefully isolated but still incredibly convenient to town, grocery stores and local attractions. Has all the comforts and amenities of home---as well as a hot tub and jacuzzi! We had a very relaxing stay while we were in Mt. Laurel---the facilities were clean, and the owners were terrific to work with! We definitely look forward to using them again!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing.
