Fully renovated home nestled amongst towering pines, overlooking 100 feet of private waterfront footage on spring-fed Bear Lake.Bear Lake is rated as one of Northern Michigan's cleanest inland lakes. This home has four bedrooms with queen beds, 2 1/2 baths, large greatroom, a quaint dining area and a full kitchen accompanied by huge breakfast bar.
The home is on a quiet, remote row of waterfront homes -- situated only 20 minutes away from the I-75 Grayling exit. The house is close to several Michigan Parks & Recreations, such as hiking, biking, ATV, and snowmobile trailheads.
The house is perfect for a family seeking undistracted quality time, or, for couples or retirees in search of a some extended solace on a pristine lake. The waterfront is well protected, sandy and shallow for a good distance making it perfect for everyone...especially young children. A paddle boat and kayak are included for you.
Enjoy your monrings on the decks while watching the beautiful nature around you. The afternoon can be spent boating, kayaking, jet or waterskiing, sunbathing. The Ausable or Manistee rivers are only 10 minutes away for canoeing or tubing. On Sunday morning the little log Church in the woods is only down the road to worship.

Hi! We purchased this home for quailty family time for our growing family. We have enjoyed many wonderful summers swimming, boating and eating countless s'mores around the campfire. It has been our solace away from the crazy city life. Our hope is that your family will enjoy this relaxing home that is nestled amongst the pine and brich trees as much as we have! It is a two-story home that sits on a hill overlooking the crystal carribean blue waters of Bear Lake.

We had a perfect stay! The cottage is absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed! The weather even cooperated for September!! The lake is crystal clear and the stars are endless.! We have been coming to this lake for over 35 years and it beauty hasn't changed. This is the best and most beautiful cottage we've stayed in. You certainly thought of everything. Perfect weather & the perfect cabin! The peacefulness & seclusion were exactly what we were looking for, and needed! The dogs had a great time swimming. (taken from our guestbook at the cottage:) Thank you for a wonderful weekend get-away! Although it was cool in Sept. for swimming, the dogs didn't mind a bit. The lake is just beautiful and the water so clear. We found a great litle place for breakfast in Kalkaska caled: "Trout Town Country Cafe". It has been a very nice break from the work week. We hope to come back again soon.

(taken from our handwritten cottage guestbook: ) Your cabin provided a great escape into the warm embraces of Mother Nature. We saw loons, mallards, heron, kingfisher, downy woodpeckers, chickadee, gull, crow, bald eagle, hummingbirds, black vultures, gold finches, sapsuckers and more. Your proximity to Traverse City afforded a lovely day trip. We could have easily spent another week exploring the area but, alas, had to return to the throws of the city. To those that follow us: we highly recommend a trip over to Hartwick Pines, just off north M93!
