Beautiful home made of western cedar and native pine. Home is brand new with all log bed room furniture, big screen TV,and a big kitchen. Our house sits close to the river (constant sound of river is very soothing). Our home is the perfect spot for outdoor activities. Go hiking right from property, on the over two million acre Gunnison National Forest. Trout fishing on the Taylor River is the best Colorado has to offer.
Three miles down Canyon to a Dude Ranch for a horseback ride, rock climbing, or guided raft or kayak trips. Nine miles up the canyon to the beautiful Taylor Dam, and lake, with breathtaking view of the Continental Divide, and the Collegate Peaks. You may want to take a jeep tour of the back country, or just sit out on our large deck, and watch the deer, or other wildlife that are often in the woods around the house.

Dear Rick, Julia, Rebekah, and Matt, We have enjoyed our time here. It is so beautiful and we've seen alot of wildlife! The deer was under the side deck and scared andrea when it ran! The weather has been beautiful and we really enjoyed the thunderstorm! The Thunder was awesome rumbling through the canyon. Thank You So Much! God Bless!

Rick And Julia, Thanks again for letting us stay in here for a few days before matthew goes to the Airforce Academy in Colorado Springs. Yesterday we had a great hike up the mountain across the river from the cabin. Your cabin is so wonderful and the area around here so unbelievable that we may be interested in the cabin for sale next door! We already are looking forward to returning on labor day weekend when we get to see Matthew again.

Rick And Julia, Thanks so much for letting us stay at your cabin. Had a great time. Fishing was great. Went to Canon City, rode the train, also drove to Ouray, what a beautiful town. Weather was perfect the whole week (50-70). Brrr, cold in the morning!
