Along with a wide beautiful sandy beach, Island Club offers an outstanding vacation environment. Not only is it an oceanfront resort, it also offers a large pool with waterfall, a children's pool with a mushroom waterfall, and also a tanning pool with lounge chairs in the pool and separate hot tub. Island Club also offers nine, free tennis courts (reservations required), a pro shop, fitness center, sauna's, children's playground, and outdoor basketball and racquetball courts. Also, Internet access is available. Children's programs are also available from June through September for ages 5-12.
5402 (Ocean Front) ~ This 2 BR/2 BA Island Club oceanfront villa has one of the most awesome ocean views in all of Hilton Head Island. The moment you walk in the front door you are struck with the immense, blue water view before you. The entire villa has been refurbished with new carpet, bedspreads and furnishings.
The living/dining room has a sleeper sofa and love seat with seating for five and a 46 inch flat screen HD TV. The large dining area has ample seating for six around a large wood dining table.
The cheery kitchen has a pass through to the dining room that gives the kitchen that wonderful oceanfront view. It has a built in microwave, dishwasher, fridge and oven, plus a stackable washer and dryer. There is even room for a small kitchen table.
The master bedroom also has an incredible ocean view and access to the oceanfront balcony. It has a king sized bed and private bath with a combination tub/shower. The guest bedroom, with a courtyard view, has a double bed and twin bed. The hall bath with combination tub/shower is right next door. Each bedroom has its own flat screen TV.
If you love waking up every morning looking at the sparkling blue sea and falling asleep every night to the sound of the waves, this wonderful oceanfront villa is the one for you!
4402 (Ocean View) ~ A near total renovation and views of the ocean has made this lovely 2 bedroom, 2 bath villa a real jewel. A white tiled entryway introduces you to the newly carpeted dining and living areas decorated in tans and blues and an attractive brown, palm leaf ceiling fan provide a refreshing and cool ambiance. The new tan sleeper sofa and loveseat complement the dark wood and glass tables as well as the wood dining table and 6 Kaya woven chairs. A flat screen TV and Blue Ray DVD Player offer entertainment while gazing at the fabulous views through sliders to a balcony. Views of the beach, ocean, and a grill and picnic area will make you never want to go home. Have morning coffee or a favorite beverage in the evening sitting among the 4 chairs and 2 tables on the balcony.
The kitchen is off the entry hall and is also tiled in white. Stainless steel appliances, a stackable washer and dryer, blue counters and a serving window to the dining area all make for a comfortable space. There is even a breakfast bar with two more Kaya woven chairs.
The master bedroom, also newly carpeted, features a king bed in blues and chocolate and tan furniture with more beautiful views from the window and through a door to the balcony. A DVD and VCR player and a private, full bath complete this master suite. The guest bedroom has new carpet as well and chocolate and blue bedding for the twin and double beds. Fun "lighthouse" lamps, a flat screen TV and a DVD/CD/MP3 player round out this bedroom. It shares a full bath located in the hall for guests.

I was quite embarrassed to have invited my sister and brother-in-law to share a unit with me and find out it was in such disrepair. We arrived on Saturday but didn't have a working refrigerator until Thursday. The unit had plaster coming off the ceiling, a door that was very hard to slide open, beds with very loose headboards, dressers with handles that came off, baseboards that badly needed painting,carpet that needed restretched and cleaned and air vents that had not been cleaned in a long time. The owner and management each insisted the other was at fault. We had a lovely time on the island, but would NOT return to this unit. Thank goodness there were many activities and attractions nearby and the ocean is endlessly fascenating.
Owner response:Dear Guest, We are so sorry you had an unpleasant stay. In the spring of 2011, both units have been renovated. Island Club 4402 has received new appliances, new paint job, new furniture in the living room and dining room and also the kitchen ceiling has been repaired. Island Club 5402 has received new carpeting and new bedspreads also. I hope with these change you would be willing to give one of these beautiful units a second chance.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers.
