We believe that our Villa del Sol is the ultimate family beach house. We furnished and equipped the house to be ready for just about anything that you might want at the beach.
The house, located in the private gated community of Solimar, was updated and decorated for a relaxed and enjoyable time at the beach. The two bedrooms upstairs are master suites with their own private bathrooms. Both rooms have balconies and great ocean views where you can literally watch the dolphins right from your bed. There's also a bunk room upstairs with four beds. A few summers ago we converted the garage into what we call our Palapa Palace -- which is a great room for kids and teens. Our four teenage nieces stay here whenever they visit! The Hawaiian theme coupled with the built-in loft beds is always a hit with the kids. The room in the front of the house has a queen bed and a fantastic view of the Ventura foothills. And last but not least we have what we call our “Harry Potter room”. This is not much bigger than Harry’s cupboard under the stairs but we’ve built-in bunk beds and it’s once again a favorite for kids!
On the activity side we have boogie boards, a soft surfboard, an ocean kayak, a skim board and wetsuits in almost every size. There are two lighted tennis courts, a volleyball court and a basketball/sports court in the complex that you can access at anytime. We have boards games, dominoes for our favorite game “Chicken foot”, a basketball, soccer ball, volleyball, tennis equipment and a number of DVDs and videos to watch in your spare time. There's also wireless internet for your convenience.
Our gas BBQ gets a lot more use than the oven but I think that the fire pit that we use for making s’mores is a close second. The kitchen is fully equipped for any of your cooking/entertaining needs. There is even a refrigerator on the deck for easy access to your favorite beverage.
We love this house and if it wasn’t for the fact that we are currently living overseas we wouldn’t be able to share it with you. If you are looking for some family fun at the beach, this is the house for you!

Jun 01-Sep 30 & Holidays $4200/week (High Season) 2 WEEK MINIMUM
$250 Cleaning Fee
$1000 Security Deposit
50% Deposit of Rental Fee to Hold Reservation
Balance due 30 days prior to rental.
There will be an extra charge if additional cleaning is required.

Our family had a (small) reunion at this house and loved this home! Everything one could desire was here, including all the beach toys and wet suits we could possibly want. We LOVED this home and can't wait to go there again!
