Located in the heart of the historic District on 'The most Beautiful Street In Old Town', William St, within walking distance of everything to do in Key West. The house was built in the late 1860’s by the Lowe family. Within a span of three blocks you will find 30 plus restaurants, fishing boats, sightseeing boats, museums, shopping, fish-market, green grocer , grocery store, bike rentals, boat rentals; in other words whatever Key West has to offer you are within a seven-minute walk. The beaches are a long walk or a short bike ride away.
The front porch is the perfect place for people watching. The neighborhood has some of the finest examples of Conch Architecture
The home is filled with local art and has been host to many artists over the years some of which include Tom McGuane, Phil Caputo, Larry Shames and the notorious Jimmy Buffet. The house is full of Dade County pine, Palladian window rescued from St. Mary’s Convent, and an eclectic assortment of antiques.
