Our condominium has been called by our numerous return guests as their Maui home away from home. Just steps to the pool and Maui's best beach just minutes away, you enter 1200 square feet of luxury. Newly decorated, Painted through-out, new carpet through-out, new kitchen tile flooring. Looks georgous!! Sunken living room, granite counter tops, beautiful furnishings, lots of art work, bright and sunny and an open spacious feeling. Beautiful master suite and bath. Immaculately clean, non-smoking unit. Unit #608, 2nd floor.
The kitchen has everything from rice maker to juicer and there is a full-size barbecue on the large lanai. We are constantly upgrading yet we keep our prices below market. We provide beach chairs and beach towels , a DVD and CD player, two TVs,( one 37" Flat screen ) and all the comforts of home. Internet access, Cable TV, We have owned this condo since February 1998 and maintain it beautifully. My wife and I have been residents of Wailea since 1980. We live right across the street from the Palms so if anything should arise we are right there to take care of it.
It is a short walk to the Shops Of Wailea , the top restaurants , and the best walking/running path along the Ocean. We are 15 min. walk down to the best beaches in all of Maui.The location is great! There is a huge tiled pool and spa with great views from the Club House and pool.

- We provide enough amenities for 4-5 days. There is 1-roll of toilet paper and 1-roll underneath sink in both bathrooms, 1-roll of paper towels in kitchen, 1-trashbag and 1-underneath sink in both bathrooms and kitchen, 1-kleenex box in each bathroom, hand soap in each bathroom as well as soap for shower/tub. There is dishwashing detergent and dish soap supplied in kitchen also.

Thanks for a great experience for our family of four in your lovely Condo. We loved the central location and easy walk to S. Kikei Road, Wailea Shops and nice beaches. Condo is in beautiful condition including new carpet and paint throughout. A great place to rent and excellent value.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

The ice maker was broken and the owners said they were not fixing it.The AC in the second bedroom only worked off and on,my son has a lot of health problems and his room was very hot.Also they really need ac in the living room,it was unbearably hot for us.They also accused us of having more people living there than we had specified,we had rented two condos ,one for my daughters family so we were having family dinners.I will not ever rent from an owner off of VBRO again.
Owner response: We were very sorry that our guests were not happy with our condo. We take great pride in making sure our condo is clean and comfortable. When guest's arrive there is a big tropical flower arrangement to welcome them. We recently fixed the ice maker. What happens is the ice freezes up and won't dispense in the front of the refrigerator. We supplied ice trays which were perfectly fine and they didn't seem to have any problem with it at the time. The Palms At Wailea condo's were only built with air-conditioning in the master-bedroom as represented in the description.We have ceiling fans through out also. We had just put in an extra brand new portable air-conditioner for the 2nd bedroom . It works great. The reason it didn't work properly for them was because they had moved it accidently and did not realize that the exhaust hose detatched from the unit and poured heat into the room. My husband was called and immediately went down and fixed it and the room cooled down and was comfortable. They would have paid twice as much per night for a centrally air-conditioned unit. We had given them an incredible deal to begin with basically what one-bedrooms go for. The majority of condo's in Maui do not have central air-conditioning. If they do you pay a premium. Most people like the fresh Maui air and keep the window's open to get the breezes. When my husband went down to see the air-conditioner he noticed four adults, an infant and two children in the unit. I was not made aware of children prior to their stay and called to ask them how many people were staying in the unit. I did not accuse them of anything. This is my right as an owner to make sure there are not more people staying than represented. I did not have a damage deposit with them like most condo owners do. I had felt badly for any inconvenience that was caused and offered them one free helicopter tour. For the 5 yrs. we have been on vrbo we have not had one complaint. We have owned our condo for 13yrs. and we are putting new carpeting , tile and paint throughout this season. We are always striving to maintain high standards so our guests leave with a good feeling and wanting to come back. Some people from Alaska might not be used to the tropical weather.
