Fantastic Place In Mauna Lani!

We stayed at Wilson and Alice's place for a week in Jan 2012 and loved every moment. The place is beautiful, with such nice decorating- the pictures still didn't prepare us for how nice it really is. We stayed here with another couple with a 7 week old baby, and found the place VERY sound proof, which meant we slept so well. Alice and Wilson were so organized, and were so easy to deal with, it has been such a great experience fo us. We'd have breakfast on the lanai, then head off for some time at the beach, or pool (we thought it was the nicest of all the area pools we saw photos of). The private beach was nice, with lots of chairs to use, and we saw many colourful fish while snorkeling. Hapuna beach nearby (less than 10 min drive N) was awesome for boogie boarding, playing in the waves and walking on the beach. We explored the island easily from this area, and found it conveniently located, but not too close to the busier areas of Kona. It was just wonderful - thanks again!

A stylish and immaculately maintained golf course condo in an upscale neighborhood within walking distance of excellent beaches, hotels, restaurants and shops - and a good value to boot.

We recently spent three very enjoyable weeks in your condo. We especially appreciated the comfortable furnishings, the use of an on-site grill, and above all, the unit being well maintained and clean. Your prompt response to any questions that we may have had was appreciated. The view from the upper lanai was fantastic, and we spent much time there. We would highly recommend this unit.

Wilson & Alice, thanks so much for sharing your beautiful home with us. We have been to the Big Island numerous times before, but this was by far the best home we have ever rented. Your home is beautifully decorated, very clean & is very well-equipped in every area. We really appreciated having beach chairs, snorkels & boogie boards for our use, plus having use of your computer saved us having to bring a laptop. The beds are very comfy & the unit was so quiet & peaceful, we thoroughly enjoyed our month of R & R. We will definitely recommend this unit to our friends & will hopefully be able to stay here again on our next visit to the Big Island.

From our guest book Wilson and Alice This was our first time to the Big Island in 10 years. We have always stayed on Maui. We loved your home and the Island. Eating in 5 times aweek, the Mauna lani market was perfect.Their fish was excellent! We are avid golfers and enjoyed the North and South course several times and also played Waimea CC, Big Island and Hapuna. Gorgeous views no matter where. Your location is perfect- accessible and private at the same time. We had a wonderful vacation. Thank You Cam and Jeff L

Taken from our guest book April 2008 Wilson and Alice We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Fairways at Mauna Lani- homey,comfy and so peaceful. Most mornings we were out walking and exploring- walking along the fishermans's path was great. We are avid golfers and loved the Mauna Lani north and south courses . There is always a certain intrepidation when one rents from a private party but all fears were completely removed the moment we walked through the condo door. WOW! This is such a wonderfully decorated and appointed home - luxury linens, top notch decor, great assortment of dishes and the extra attention to detailes that made our stay comfortable. We made busy use of the BBQ and thouroughly enjoyed the upper lanai for quit reading and the entertainment of watching others hack and schank. Took dessert walks to the Orchid . Thanks for Wilson's call to the pro shop at Mauna Lani enjoyed discount golf several times. Having the CARD for the Beach Club is a treasure. Three plasma screens were a huge hit with our 16 year old son and a computer to use was very helpful. Thank you for sharing your beautiful "home away from home". We had an absolutely wonderful stay. What a pleasure to step into the calm and tranquillity of this beautiful home! "A place for everything and everything in it's place" This was our fourth visit to the Big Island and everytime it is a return to old favorites and discovery of new ones. My father and I had an amazing time! The house is incredibly beautiful and comfortable with every ammenity. My dad grilled steaks on the outdoor grill as I relaxed in the upstairs lanai. The computer / internet is so convenient. With so much to explore and see and do here our only regret is that we did not stay longer. Aloha !! My two children and I spent four incredible days at your lovely condo. We used the pool, the beach club, went to dinner at some of your recomended spots, went snorkling, sightseeing, shopped til we dropped...and will definitely be back! Anything we could think of you had: ice cream scooper, blender, chip clips, picnic basket for the beach, chairs, snorkle gear, beach towels. Your home is beautiful, kids enjoyed the DVD players in both rooms while I read out on the patio. We even used the jacuzzi in the Master bathroom. Everything was perfect. THANK YOU !!!! Dear Wilson and Alice We are back from our wonderful vacation in Hawaii. We had a wonderful time at your condo. The condo was just perfect. We loved your decoration, the comfortable beds, the ample amount of towels/linens, and the kitchen is equipped perfectly!
