This is a comfortable, craftsman built, newer home with natural cedar siding in a beautiful wooded setting. The home is especially clean and tastefully well appointed. Outside is a spacious deck, campfire area, hammock, BBQ grill, woods and trails to explore by foot or bike. The bedroom configuration is as follows: Queen bed in first bedroom, full/double bed in second bedroom, two twins in third, one twin in fourth. A cot is available for an additional child.

We are nearly surrounded by the famously beautiful Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Big and Little Glen Lakes and Lake Michigan are the three closest of the the many Leelanau County lakes that are readily accessible for unlimited swimming and boating activities.

Art galleries and festivals, vineyards and wine tasting tours, sandy beaches, music festivals and concerts, unique specialty shops and outstanding restaurants... Leelanau County has a wide variety of offerings to match its natural beauty and outstanding recreational opportunities.

  • Beautifully crafted, clean, very comfortable home on the edge of everything. Peaceful, serene, cozy setting in the woods. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, abundant wildlife. Close enough to Glen Arbor/Empire (and other peninsula activities) yet away from the "in-town" crowds. For us it was the perfect setting for a relaxing vacation.

  • The pictures do not do enough justice to this wonderful home. Inside it looks like a Russian fairy-tale cottage, outside - it's a forest. The street is very quiet and if we didn't venture out, we wouldn't have seen anyone for as long as we stayed there. It is centrally located to all the Sleeping Bear Dunes attractions.

  • This is a wonderful family home from which you can venture forth to Lake Michigan, the Dune,, Cherry Festival and anyone of a number of the wonderful sites in Leelanau County. It is immaculate! and the owners will make you welcome and comfortable.
