This bright and sunny 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom end unit condo is perfect for small families or couples getaways. Relax in front of the living room Fireplace or on one of 2 patios. And forget about stairs since our condo is on the lower level of the Niguel Beach Terrace complex. Conveniently located on the beach side of Pacific Coast Highway and across the street from Salt Creek Beach, you certainly won't have to worry about getting to the water. Our condo is located in one of the most private locations in the complex facing the beautifully landscaped path to the beach.

Dana Point was almost overlooked in our search for a beach property. It is a sleepy little town in between Laguna and San Clemente. The beaches are gorgeous. We are walkers and there are endless places to walk.

Ann and Mike Herlihy are the proud owners of the Dana Point Cottage. Together with our two children we welcome our guests. The nice compliments our guests leave or send us makes it all worth while. Over the past few years we have watched the luscious landscape and walking trails be put into place and new trails to the beach. It just keeps getting better and better.

Ann's Condo is a prefect place to stay while visting Southern California. It is well equip with everything you may need during your stay. Her Ralphs card saved us about 100 dollars during the course of the week. and her beach chairs are fantansic. The greenly and flowers to all the paths to the beach were beautiful. We also enjoyed the pool area. Dana Point was like walking into a Beach Boy Song. While it is half way in between LA and San Diego. San Diego is much easier to get to because of traffic. And on our day trip to Disneyland it took us about 30 minutes to get there. You probably need to have a car to get around everywhere.

We stayed here with our 3 daughters for a week of relaxation and fun. It was very clean and had some enjoyable upgrades, such as, appliances in the kitchen, Comfortaire master bed, sinks in both bathrooms, wonderful tile flooring throughout. The complimentary wine was a very nice added bonus. The owners were very quick to respond with any questions or concerns we had. The pictures on the website are exactly the way we found the condo. I might add that it truly does only seat 4 for meals. That was a negative for us because we ate all of our meals at the condo due to my love of cooking. Since it is advertised as sleeping 5, it would be nice to have seating for that many. We loved the clean, bright and airy feel of the condo. The website says it faces the walking path to the beach, which it does, but there is not access to that path from the condo. We had to walk through the parking lot to get to the beach, which was not a big deal. The pool and spa are very nice. We would spend most of the day at the beach and then later afternoons at the pool. We would definitely go here again and would recommend it to friends and family.

A wonderfully located condominium in Dana Point. We visited our grand daughters for a week and we all loved the condominium unit. The place was clean, well stocked with utensils and dishes, fairly priced and nicely furnished. I had a little difficulty finding the light switches but a phone call to the owner solved the problem. A couple of restaurants we would recommend include the "Peking Dragon" for probably the best Chinese food you will ever experience and "Thai This" for really good Thai food. If you go to sea world, be prepared to take out a second mortgage on your home. I would definitely recommend this unit to my friends and, since we plan to visit our grand children again in the future, we will hopefully be able to rent this unit again.
Owner response:Good to know on the restaurants. There are several menus in the condo from area restaurants. It gives us an idea to start a "scrap book" for our guests with their favorite places. We should feature my cleaning lady Bobbie on the website. She has been with us for five years and does a superb job. We welcome our repeat guests and have been known to give a discount. Sorry, no Sea World discounts, wish we did have a connection. It is one of our favorite places. It is so nice to be halfway between San Diego and LA attractions.

Stayed 5 days here with my daughter and had a wonderful time. The condo was great and very well equipped. Very comfortable and looks just like the pictures. Owner even had a Ralph's supermarket savings card for guests to use. Anne (the owner) was very easy to work with and made everything very easy. The location felt very safe and the beach was lovely. It was alittle farther from the LA area than I thought it would be, but it wouldn't stop me from staying here. Right off the PCH (Hwy 1) which was great for touring around and seeing the local sights. If we come back to this area, we will stay here again.
Owner response:Great to know our guests are using the Ralph's discount card. We collect all kinds of discount coupons and promotions for our guests to use during their stay. It truly is a perfect location, half way between LA and San Diego. In the summer there is a trolley that runs up to Laguna Beach. When we come around the corner from PCH onto Selva Road I feel I've been transported into paradise. I take a deep breath and relax as I hope all our guests will.

One hour from Hollywood, one hour from San Diego. Very good location if you want to visit south of California. We stayed there for 2 weeks and we would not want to leave. Clean, nice, quiet. Everything you need. We loved it. Charles

We have stayed at this condo twice now - 2007 & 2008. How we feel about it is that it's our vacation "home" in the MOST beautiful costal towns ever. There is so much to do and see and the shopping is amazing. The beaches are not even covered by words. The condo is well equipped with everything that you would have at home and need to make your stay comfortable. We will never stay at another hotel as long as there are rental properties as beautiful and equipped as Ann's condo. P.S. Ann, the changes you made from last year to this year made it feel even more luxurious. Thank you! The Canadians
