Enjoy the tranquility of being in the country. At "The Farmhouse", you can simply leave the daily grind behind. Located on a 80-plus acre working farm in rural Warren County, Tennessee, the property sits high on a hill, overlooking the farmland below. The property is also located on the scenic Collins River (river is not viewable from the house, however there is access to the bank) and is just **4** miles from Rock Island State Park and near Center Hill Lake.
The Farmhouse is an ideal place for couples or families that enjoy time in the country, avid adventure seekers, and small groups who want to enjoy the river or nearby parks and recreation. It is also a great place to stay when you are in the area visiting relatives, and you don't have to leave your pets behind, they are always welcomed at The Roberts Farm. In the Roberts family since the early 1940s, The Farmhouse and surrounding land provides a great location for weekend getaway or vacation. The Farmhouse provides basic, but comfortable, accommodations for up to eight adults or children.
The house layout includes a large covered front porch, fenced in front yard, and a large den area with lots of seating and a wood-burning stove. The two bedrooms host king sized beds with a crib in the largest room, and a large bedroom/laundry room has a full size bed. There's an additional pull out sofa in the den, and one additional guest could sleep on the other sofa (although it's not a pull-out).
For your convenience, towels, washclothes, a washing machine and dryer, and wood for a campfire are included.

The Farmhouse is so neat and convenient to the river. We just drove down the lane behind the house right to the river bank and put in our canoes. The Collins River was a gentle float. We loved the house, the location and the landlord was so hospitable. We certainly rate the experience as "Excellent" and hope to be back soon.

This was a GREAT vacation house! The Robert's were very kind and have a wonderful and well taken care of property! It is just about 15 minutes from Rock Island State Park, and 45 from Fall Creek Falls State Park. Our 2 boys loved the property, they loved, playing volleyball, badmitten, horseshoes, shooting baskets, the swings. and our dog even loved roaming in the fenced yard. It was a very peaceful area and we really did relax and enjoy time away. Our youngest son cried a little when we left he had such a fun time! We recommend this place to anyone with young kids, or big families... more than enough room for everyone. Thank you to the Robert's we will hopefully get back soon!

We absoluting had a GREAT time at "The Farmhouse". What a wonderful place away from it all. We had such a great time fishing. Our youngest granddaughter caught her first fish here and the kids and kids at heart enjoyed the volleyball, badmitten and basketbasketball goal. We so enjoyed the firepit sang songs and roasted marshmallows and made smores. The little ones enjoyed feeding the cows as well. The owner was such a nice gentleman. We loved and enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse. It is very close to Rock Island State Park. What a gorgeous place that was. We loved the waterfalls and the castle. We also went to the beach area there . You can swim in the river, but the rocks are really bad . Need to have water shoes and better on out but not up close. But Center Hill lake has a beach area.We rented a pontoon fron Cottens which is close by. There is a Walmart and Kroger close by within 11 miles from this rental. We absolutely loved this place and highly reccommend it. We able to bring our two dogs with us and they were on cloud nine being able to be with us and outside with us while vacationing. Thanks for such a wonderful place you have for us to stay while having our family get together( my daughter came in from Florida and we were able to get together for family vacation Mr. Robertand we really had a great time. Four of us spent a restful weekend at The Farmhouse and would recommend it for anyone wanting to enjoy life the way it should be! We slept in comfy beds with nice linens, sipped coffee on the porch and watched the sunrise over the hills, went down to the river, visited the nearby parks and the list goes on for ways we enjoyed our visit. Even our dogs enjoyed the pet friendly house and fenced in yard. Not fancy, but very clean and comfortable. Couldn't decide whether to share this little gem or keep it a secret!

We had the best time just relaxing and getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We appreciate being able to bring our dogs as they are part of our family as well. Loved your hosptality and your details to the small things in life. We will definately return again.

Where to begin? After finding our we were coming in very late, you left the porch light on and made sure the heat was on too! What a "warm" welcome! The Farmhouse is so quaint and perfect for our family of 5. I loved making and tending to the fire in the wood stove and our 14 yr. old son enjoyed the fire pit where we roasted hot dogs and marshmallows. The nights were very cool, so the fire was great. During our walk down to the river we saw many birds-cardinals, chickadees, and the most beautiful purple martins. Our stay here at The Farmhouse has been so wonderful--the kids always had something to do and we found peace and serenity (which we needed so badly). The final touch was the day we were leaving and we woke up to snow!! Thank you so much for all of your generous hospitality and allowing us to stay in your wonderful home. We will definitely be back.

Thank you for sharing this great home-place with our family. After a business/vacation trip to Naples Fl--I told my husband if we go anywhere else this year I want it to be peaceful and this was just that.
