Accommodations: "Key West-Style" Cottage. 775 square feet and fully furnished with two bedrooms and one bath. The cottage and grounds were completely renovated in 2005 and a private front porch with Adirondack chairs is a comfortable place to relax after a day at the beach or the pool.
The cottage has central air-conditioning and a ceiling fan. The living & dining room ceilings are vaulted with walls of windows that reveal beautiful views of the Tropical grounds. Polished terrazzo floors run throughout the cottage. The living room has a comfortable sofa and chairs. There is a dining room table that comfortably seats 4; fully-equipped kitchen with refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, granite counter, glass cook-top stove and spacemaker microwave. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed. The second bedroom has two single beds. The full-size washer and dryer are shared with one other unit.
The cottage is single-story with easy access and no steps. There is ample parking, located close to the cottage. The cottage is situated across from a fenced swimming pool. Beautiful Live Oak trees, Coconut palms, bannana trees and other Tropical foliage are a beautiful backdrop for the pool and views from the cottage. There is a large green area for children to play. Kid’s toy’s, beach gear and charcoal grilles are available upon request.
Property Description: Centrally located just off state route A1A - Walking distance to public beaches (4/10th of a mile east), Intracoastal Waterway, dining, and beach shops. Vero Beach is home to the Los Angeles Dodger’s Spring Training camp (for now!), a 24-screen movie theatre, the Indian River Mall, and a large Outlet Mall. There are a number of public golf courses, tennis & racquet ball facilities that we can direct you to. There is also the opportunity to enjoy many water activities such as boating, swimming, water-skiing and fishing. We do have enough room for you to park your boat and plenty of boat launches close by for the water enthusiast. There is also a riverfront water park close by, for kids of all ages.
The Sebastian Inlet to the north and Fort Pierce Inlet to the south offer excellent fishing from the shore. Offshore deep-sea fishing charters are also available at the Fort Pierce Inlet. For cultural enthusiasts, the community is recognized for the Vero Beach Museum of Art & the Riverside Theatre. We would be happy to provide guides to all of the cultural events occurring while you are in town.
