This charming home sleeps six to eight people comfortably (six adults maximum) in three bedrooms, plus a loft, and has all the amenities provided for a memorable vacation. Pillows, blankets and comforters are provided. (Need to bring your own sheets and towels.) Fully-equipped kitchen, large color TV with basic cable and DVD/VCR.

In addition to central heating, there is the added charm of a free-standing, woodburning fireplace. The large deck with barbecue provides a beautiful private setting for dining or sunning. There is a lovely filtered view, through the many tall pine trees, of the lake with the mountain background beyond. (Not looking out on other homes.)

Very private setting on a large corner lot, with sizeable play area, including badminton court and horseshoe pit. The long driveway is large enough for two cars and a boat/trailer.

Would never rent here again!

We have used VRBO dozens of times and have always been very happy. This home however did not live up to that. Very out dated and tons of termite damage. The wood above ceiling beams are all eaten away at. The home is VERY dark. We couldn't even sit on the couch and read a book. My sons head knocked the out dated lamp above the dining room table and before we knew what was happening lights crashed down on the table. Thankfully no one was hurt. We tried to find replacements for the two lights that were broken but since they were so old no one had them. The owners charged us $50 for this claiming that they too couldn't find replacements and had to purchase an entirely new lamp. We did not feel this was fair. The lamp was a hazard. One positive note the home was very clean...but that of course was most likely due to the previous tenant as you are required to do ALL the cleaning...including cleaning out the fire place, cleaning the refrigerator, sweeping both porches...not light cleaning...but all. We spent 3 hours cleaning the house before our departure...all to have $50 taken out of our cleaning deposit - for the lamp. There are many options in Tahoe...my suggestion...find another one!

Hi Bud & Betsy, We had a great vacation staying in your cabin. It was perfect for our family and our two guests. The beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of pillows and blankets. We really liked the deck a lot! It was a great place to have a cocktail in the evening and a cup of coffee in the morning.

Dear Bud & Betsy,Thanks so much for letting us stay at your lovely place. We left it very clean. We did have to leave 3 magnums of champagne and some bottled water (we just couldn’t fit it in the car!), so hopefully you or your next guests will be able to enjoy it.
