The Play Garden is a comfortable family home located on a ridge with a spectacular view of the Shenandoah River as it curves around Calmes Neck in the rolling countryside of Clarke County, VA. It sits on 22 lush acres with one of the largest private collections of boxwood in the US. Huge, gorgeous sycamores reach to the sky. Beauty, privacy, quiet - that's what this property is all about.

The house has three bedrooms and two and a half baths. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other two have twin beds.

The kitchen is well-equipped for meal preparation. However, the big plus of the kitchen is the round table in the corner surrounded by large windows on two sides so it feels like you're eating outdoors among the singing birds.

In the warm weather the glory of the place, in my opinion, is the bluestone deck overlooking the bend in the river. This is rivalled in some minds by the beautiful swimming pool located below the house.
