Located in the heart of historical downtown Santa Fe, New Mexico, El Corazon de Santa Fe, the city’s newest compound-style condominium unit offers the best in luxury and location. The 1,100 square foot upstairs unit features two bedrooms with a new high quality bedding and mattress and two full bathrooms including a spacious master suite and bath with jacuzzi, a gourmet kitchen area, and a sumptuous living area. A private balcony with Southwestern furnishings is a great place to enjoy breakfast, evening margaritas, or simply enjoy the warmth and the great weather of Santa Fe.
The Spanish pueblo architecture of the unit features traditional Santa Fe-style vigas spanning the ceiling and exterior entryway portals with exposed wood. Accents such as slate floors, the warmth of clay plaster walls, kiva fireplaces and decorative ironwork lend Santa Fe spirit and style to every room. Secure underground parking is included.
Our unit is only two blocks to the world-famous historic Santa Fe Plaza; one block to the famous Georgia O'Keefe Museum and Cafe; and a short stroll to the myriad of art galleries, gourmet restaurants and downtown museums and to our renowned Canyon Road. The historic annual Santa Fe Fiesta and Spanish and Indian Markets are held on the plaza during the months of July - September.
The condominium also is a short drive to many famous destinations. The Santa Fe Opera is 10 minutes away. For those ski enthusiasts, the popular Santa Fe ski area is a 20 minute drive and the famed Taos and Angel Fire ski resorts are a scenic 90 minutes away. You will find numerous Indian pueblos and casinos within a 30-minute drive. Located at the foot of the Sangre de Cristo mountains, Santa Fe boasts year-round recreational activities such as world-class golf, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, horseback riding and much more.
Fresh flowers and local wine await your arrival. The unit is stocked with complete kitchen accessories. Luxurious towels and linens are included. A calendar of events and information for areas of interest, including health spas and golf greens, are provided.

Five-night minimum reservation. Inquire about possible fill-in reservations and/or surcharge for reservations of less than five nights. Long-term rates also negotiable.
Full payment is required prior to check-in: 50% due upon verbal reservation and balance 45 days prior to arrival. Confirmed reservations are binding. Refund will be issued if we are able to rebook, less 10% administration fee.
Refundable $275 damage deposit is required.

Owner's insurance does not cover loss or damage to tenant's personal possessions. Tenant shall bear the risk of loss of all tenant's property.

Three sisters and a cousin from MO, NC, SC & MT all of us first time visitors to Santa Fe. Barbara, you were wonderful to work with. You went out of your way to find us a place to stay the first night until your condo became available. We really appreciated the convenience of the condo, your partnering discounts and all the services available. We enjoyed the Santa Fe School of cooking, many wonderful restaurants. Other highlights of our trip were Bandelier National Monument and Taos Pueblo. The shopping was superb and so easy to get to from here. Thank you for everything. 10-4-11

Pros - Great, safe location within easy walking distance of the Plaza - Free, heated underground parking garage - Condo facility is modern, well-kept and up-scale - Unit size is very comfortable for 2 people - Kitchen is reasonably well-equipped - Bathroom showers are large Cons - Beds are terribly uncomfortable - inexpensive mattresses on platform without box springs – not up to moderately-priced hotel standards, let alone luxury standards - Linens are cheap and worn out - Unit is decorated with fake plants that gather dust - Guest bedroom is tiny and has no closet - Guest bedroom is somewhat noisy on week mornings because of proximity to street - TV/DVD technology is outdated (no flat screen or HD) and no instructions provided for use of DVD - No view from any windows - Master bedroom and bathroom windows overlook other units with windows – no privacy All in all, it wasn't the luxury experience that was advertised, especially because of the lousy beds.
Owner response:To Our Valued Guests, We appreciate any valid concerns that our guests may have about our home. As always, we strive to make your stay enjoyable and memorable. Prior to Paul of Austin TX stay, all of our guests had reported 100% satisfaction. However, we did investigate Paul’s comments and took corrective action where warranted. Although not particularly worn, we did purchase new high quality linen. Our regular policy is to replace linen every six months. We have included concise instructions on how to access the input selection button on the TV remote control for DVD use. Both the living room and master bedroom flat-screen, high definition TV’s are enclosed in stylish armoire cabinets. We did contact Comcast to insure that the settings were correct to yield a high definition picture. The closet to the guest bedroom is located directly adjacent to the bedroom door. We observed the serene atmosphere from the balcony of the guest bedroom. Perhaps an emergency vehicle passed through during Paul’s stay. Our prior guests have always commented on how peaceful and quiet our place is. All of our windows have high quality wooden blinds for privacy or view as our guest’s desire. Our beds are of the more modern platform style that do not require the old fashioned box spring. The platform provides adequate, flexible, support and ventilation for a mattress by itself. Upon inspection, we found them to be very comfortable. We have made a few changes to the mattress padding and protection material to make them even more comfortable.
