This property in an upscale, gated community was perfect for our party of two couples. The condo is nicely furnished and very comfortable. The short walk to the Plaza and the secure garage parking were especially convenient. We appreciated the complimentary wine and made good use of the fully equipped kitchen following days shopping SF and day-tripping to the pueblos.

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

We had a fantastic time, the condo was ideal, we had no issues at all, it had everything we needed and was genuinely a luxury condo a short walk from the Plaza. The entire experience was hassle free and effortless, all the details were take care of very efficiently.

Three sisters and a cousin from MO, NC, SC & MT all of us first time visitors to Santa Fe. Barbara, you were wonderful to work with. You went out of your way to find us a place to stay the first night until your condo became available. We really appreciated the convenience of the condo, your partnering discounts and all the services available. We enjoyed the Santa Fe School of cooking, many wonderful restaurants. Other highlights of our trip were Bandelier National Monument and Taos Pueblo. The shopping was superb and so easy to get to from here. Thank you for everything. 10-4-11

Pros - Great, safe location within easy walking distance of the Plaza - Free, heated underground parking garage - Condo facility is modern, well-kept and up-scale - Unit size is very comfortable for 2 people - Kitchen is reasonably well-equipped - Bathroom showers are large Cons - Beds are terribly uncomfortable - inexpensive mattresses on platform without box springs – not up to moderately-priced hotel standards, let alone luxury standards - Linens are cheap and worn out - Unit is decorated with fake plants that gather dust - Guest bedroom is tiny and has no closet - Guest bedroom is somewhat noisy on week mornings because of proximity to street - TV/DVD technology is outdated (no flat screen or HD) and no instructions provided for use of DVD - No view from any windows - Master bedroom and bathroom windows overlook other units with windows – no privacy All in all, it wasn't the luxury experience that was advertised, especially because of the lousy beds.

Owner response:To Our Valued Guests, How time does fly! Thank goodness Paul brought some of these items to our attention! Please stay with us to enjoy all of our new bedding and flat screen TV's! I know I have a hard time working all of the remote controls in my own home, so we have taken Paul's advice and included concise instructions, including how to access the input selection button, on the TV remote control for DVD use on all three of our TV's. Regarding Paul's comment about the closet to the guest bedroom, the architect thought it best to locate the closet directly adjacent to the guest bedroom door so that there would be plenty of room to open up the french doors leading to the balcony from this room. There is plenty of closet space for this bedroom. Finally, make no mistake, we are located in Downtown Santa Fe, where myriads of visitors to our lovely city want to be, and where many of our visitors have commented on how peaceful and quiet our property is. For ultimate privacy we are a second floor unit and have high quality wooden blinds for privacy or view as you desire! It was absolutely perfect. The proximity to everything was phenomenal, we walked most the time but having a parking spot was a great convenience. It was so quiet here, we hardly saw anyone (but we know they were here because cars were in the lot.) It was my third time in Santa Fe about my favorite place on the planet and I wasn't disappointed. For food suggest - Whole Hog (bbq) - went there twice, the Compound, Geronimo, La Plazuela at La Fonda were all terrific. The shopping is never ending. The museums are countless, and the surrounding area is beautiful with so much to do.

We came to Santa Fe for a "sisters weekend" from four states: NC, MO, TX and AZ. We had a fantastic time browsing the shops and galleries. We toured the capitol and O'Keefe gallery. The restaurants (The Shed, Orr House, Bumble Bee, Burrito Co. and Muffin Shop) were all great. The best part of our stay was this beautiful condo. Everything we needed was here. It was quiet and comfortable and Barbara was so nice. Thank again. We're making plans to return.

After one aborted attempt to stay in this beautiful condo, we finally made it this year. It was well worth the wait! It is beautifully and tastefully appointed, spacious and absolutely nothing is lacking. The location is perfect - 2 blocks from the Plaza yet wonderfully quiet. We have thoroughly enjoyed two (2) stays in this lovely condo, and highly recommend it. The location is perfect -- just park your car in the garage and walk to all the city's attractions and fine restaurants. The condo is extremely comfortably furnished, with all the necessities provided. The additional touches of fresh roses and wine add to the enjoyment of this condo.

I have been traveling to Santa Fe for over 20 years. I love the pottery, the rugs, the culture, the art, the jewelry. To stay in a heart-warming space such as El Corazon, just off the Plaza, with every amenity at our fingertips, added greatly to the pleasure of our trip. This condo is perfect for two couples.
