Our 3BR/3BA condo is privately owned, located within Hanalei Bay Resort. At HBR you will have access to 2 swimming pools, 8 tennis courts, a jacuzzi spa, poolside barbecue, vans and golf carts to assist with heavy luggage and groceries, a beach path that will lead you down to the secluded beach right outside the St. Regis Princeville hotel, a professional staff, and more.
Our condo is spacious, air-conditioned, fabulously redecorated, and newly furnished. Depending on the size of your party and what you are looking for, we can rent it as either a 1bd/1ba suite (sleeps 2-4), 2bd/2ba suite (sleeps 6-8), or 3bd/3ba suite (sleeps 10-12). These suites come with full kitchen, washer & dryer, dining area, living room with queen size sofa sleeper, and large lanai. Or you can keep it simple with the deluxe 1bd/1ba (like a normal hotel room) with microwave & mini refrigerator, and small lanai. Enjoy stunning sunsets, waterfalls, and flower scents from balconies of each room on Kauai's North Shore. We have an assortment of beach mats and chairs, as well as coolers available to you. These are stored in the closets of bedrooms in our condo.
At the foot of the stairs of our condo is a beach access path that will take you to the beach in 3 minutes. Get excited for the tunnel of trees at the end!
Queen's Bath is an old lava rock garden right on the ocean. In direct view of Bali Hai, it is a beautiful place to hang out in the morning or afternoon. Ask the concierge for directions to park for Queens Bath. After you park it is a quick hike down to the rocks, and once there you can enter the bath by cliff jumping, or leisurely climb on down into the water.
It is the local shopping center, 3 minutes drive from our condo. Here you can find delicious seafood, Thai, and Mexican restaurants, as well as the grocery store called Foodland. There are several other shops, as well as Bank of Hawaii and First Hawaiian Bank.
A beautiful, 18 hole golf course that overlooks the water. Test your game on these challenging holes.
Ke'e beach at the end of the road. Drive west on the highway past Hanalei town and follow the road along the ocean all the way till you get to Ke'e Beach. This is the start of the Na Pali Coast with the amazing Kalalau hiking trail. The beach has amazing scenery and is a great place to watch sunset. On the clear and calm days it is even a top snorkel spot and you are even likely to see sea turtles.
Yes, Costco. If you are renting our suite with the full kitchen, Costco is a great place to buy your groceries for the vacation. I suggest making a stop right after you've picked up your rental car as it is just 5 minutes from the airport. It is easily the cheapest place on the island for groceries, and most importantly, the cheapest place to stock up on your refreshments for the beach. Wailua Wheat beer by Kona Brewing Co. is one of my favorites -- even if you aren't a beer drinker the refreshing wheat ale flow with a hint of guava will not disappoint you!
Aloha and welcome to the Coconut Marketplace! This is a great place to shop for classic Hawaiian souvenirs like the floral button up, red-dirt shirts, puka shells, authentic Hawaiian jewelry, coconut bras, and grass skirts. It is a lovely outdoor marketplace with great eating and a relaxed Hawaiian atmosphere.

I manage our family condo on Kauai's beautiful north shore. Growing up, I enjoyed every second of or our family vacations to Hanalei. Originally from the SF Bay Area, I recently finished a degree in international business at the University of Southern California and am currently studying Chinese in China for the year.

We wanted a family Christmas in Paradise, and we found just that in our condo at the HBR.Ten of us including our 2 adult children, their spouses, our grandkids ages 13, 4, and 3 as well as my sister stayed in this unit for 6 nights and never felt crowded. All rooms are big, bright, and airy. The HBR is so beautiful with its pools, tennis courts, flowers, trees, and other amenities. Its location is close to activities and restaurants. But nothing can top the view from this condo and view is what the HBR is all about. We have stayed in other units here and have never felt so close or drawn in by the view as we did in this condo. Finally, the owner is a delight to work with and very accommodating. For a big family/group, we give our highest, most glowing recommendation to this condo and its owner.

Loved the location of this condo. Close to the beach trail and the views of Bali Hai were spectacular. The table that seats 12 in this condo was our favorite part. Our family meals could all be together. We loved the resort in general, we had an 8 month old baby up to an advanced surfer and all needs were accomodated. Over all one of our best vacations of all time. We definitely will return.

This four bedroom condo is everything you could ask for and more. With three full bathrooms, five beds, comfortable couches, a huge living space... that's just the beginning! Each of the rooms has its own private balcony that looks out to the breath-taking views of Kauai's lush, green scenery. The condo has everything you would need to make your stay pleasant. The kitchen is fairly new and the living space was just given a face lift. The condo is located within a resort, so you have access to the pools and hot tub, the tennis courts, a beach which is a short five minute walk away (or, if you're in the lazy vacationing mood, you can get a golf cart to shuttle you down). There is a restaurant in the hotel and there is one other resort within walking distance that has at least one restaurant. This place is perfect for people who are seeking any type of vacation, whether it be romantic, adventurous, laid-back, etc. The people that work at Hanalei Bay Resort are all very kind. They are there to help you with anything, whether it be getting your bags up the three flights of stairs, or giving you directions to some of the world's best beaches. There is nothing I can complain about this unit. Just book it today!

I wanted to drop you a note now that we've just returned from Kauai. Your condo worked out beautifully for us and I really appreciate the flexibility in allowing us to add that third bedroom. It gave us just the right amount of space we needed. Mahalo. The condo itself was just great. The views we had every morning were just breathtaking. The location is very convenient to all of the north shore activities and not so far out that you can't get down to Kapa"a or Lihue readily. I just wanted to tell you that I understand why you feel it is such a special place. It's been 8 years since I had last been to Kauai and I'm going to try and not make that mistake again! Again, Mahalo for sharing your condo and for how easy you made it to arrange our trip. I will most certainly save your e-mail and recommend you ( if that is OK with you ) to any friends we have that are considering visiting Kauai
