Why the Owner Chose Hanalei Bay Resort
We purchased this vacation rental because, in our minds, Kauai was the most exotic escape from the mainland in the closest proximity. It is one thing to be on the sands of Newport Beach in southern California, taking in the sun and enjoying a fancy restaurant. But it is completely another to travel to an island so rich in culture and natural beauty, and so far from commercial activity. The north shore of Kauai is one of the most beautiful places in the world, and I plan to stand by that till the day I die. The second you touch down on that Boeing 757 to Lihue airport, walk off the plane and breathe in fresh, plumeria scented air, you forget about all your worries. And that is 100% Michael Scott guaranteed.

One of the most unique benefits you will enjoy by staying at our property is being a 10 minute drive from the #1 ranked beach in America. In 2009 Hanalei Bay was ranked #1 in Travel Magazine. And I won't waste my time explaining why. When you go there, you will know why.
Other benefits are being able to sit out on the lanais and taking arguably some of the most beautiful scenery you will ever see in your life. Every time I go back, I am more awed than the time before. Emerald mountains with cascading waterfalls, blue water of Hanalei Bay, and the infamous Bali Hai, a majestic piece of natural art, placed carefully to make the sunsets aside it all the more spectacular.
You will be able to walk 10 minutes down to a private beach in front of the world famous Princeville Hotel.
