  This was our fourth time visiting these condos, but our first time in Condo Del Mar. The penthouse really is the best - the view, the rooms, the furnishings and the service were impeccable. We went with a few adult friends and our children. It's hard to find a place to please such a range of ages and interests, but everyone loved it. While one couple did the Titi Canopy tour, another family hung out at the pool, while another went to the nearby beach to snorkel. Just perfect. Can't wait to go back.

  Wow. Wow. Wow. I have a feeling that after staying here, I'm going to have to compare every condo or hotel I stay in to this penthouse experience. The condo was immaculate, HUGE and modern. Everything was brand new with custom, high-end furnishings. There were 4 balconies with perfect, unhindered views of the ocean. There were 4 bathrooms and the showers were bigger than anything I had seen. The bed was super comfy and the fans and AC worked like a charm. There were even fans on the balconies!! The house was stocked with everything we needed and then some, from local hot sauce to a boogie board to specific guides on all of the best attractions in the area. The living space/kitchen was open, making it fun to hang out on the stools or the comfy couches. We were so busy we didn't turn on the TV once! The condo mgr., Willy, was incredibly helpful. He was there to greet us when we arrived and arranged for our travel from the airport. He had tips for where to go and what to do. The housekeeping service was great too, on time and considerate. We had the luxury of washing all of our clothes in the unit before heading back, which was the perfect send-off! There was a large infinity pool right below our penthouse condo with a hot tub as well as a large, covered dining and bar area for morning board games or lunch out of the sun. The staff were all fantastic and knew our names right away. The happy hour specials were great (2 for 1!) The Spa was beautiful and there were dozens of different treatment options -- it was quite affordable compared to other vacation spa's. The location was perfect. It is a short walk to 2 different, amazing beaches and some restaurants/bars. A quick cab ride to town in Quepos or Manuel Antonio National Park for wildlife viewing and more beaches (and boogie boarding/surfing lessons). We did several awesome excursions including ziplining (canopy safari) and a sunset boat cruise (ocean king), all recommended by Willy. Highlights from our stay: -Dinner on the balcony while watching the monkeys swinging in the distance -Enjoying the large "Roble Sabana" trees, which look similar to cherry blossoms and were in full bloom -Late night swims in the pool/hot tub -open 24 hrs! -Happy hour drinks under the cabana -Watching the sunset from the infinity pool -Our first walk to the beach for great snorkeling Overall this was truly an incredible trip that I'll never forget. I never had a negative experience. Can't wait to come back! Pura Vida!

  This is one of those rare experiences where you rent a condo based on their beautifully posted photos, and you arrive to find the place is actually more beautiful, and much larger than the photos led you to believe. Even the pool! We just arrived home in Colorado from our first visit to Costa Rica and because we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we were not ready to leave after 9 days! I can’t say enough about this condo. Our family of 6 had more than enough space to spread out with a large master for us, a beautiful guest room for grandma, and each of our 3 children had their own bed in the large bedroom containing 2 full-sized beds and pull-out couch…and their own master bathroom. The owner of the condo is super approachable and was very responsive to all our questions and needs before we left. He sent us with a valuable information booklet containing personal reviews of local restaurants which we benefited from and shared with other guests. Willy, the on-site manager, was incredibly helpful, cheerful and polite, and he was immediately available whenever we called. He booked a few tours for us (zip lining and scuba diving), arranged a driver for one of us from the airport, and even gave us excellent directions to the San Jose airport the day we left. We agreed on a time that the cleaning crew would arrive so there were no issues there. We bought fresh fish at the local seafood market – and cooked a few nice dinners in the nicely-stocked kitchen. Nightly drinks on the patio while listening to and glimpsing the howler monkeys was a delight. And the added bonus of a lightly-used beach within a 10-minute walk was amazing – even found some nice snorkeling by swimming out from the beach. We have highly recommended this condo to our friends and family – so if you are looking for a retreat away from the bustle, look no further!

  The property was gorgeous, the view amazing, however, the description of the way the customer will be received such as "enjoy a dinner ready for you as you arrive..." was not true. Willy was very helpful in taking me to the nearest supermarket to do my grocery shopping, however, we did not see him again. We were supposed to check- out at 12: 00 noon but the cleaning lady was in the place cleaning while we were still there, She was a pleasant lady, nevertheless, we felt very uncomfortable not being able to have our privacy which we have paid for, We will only advice anyone to talk to the owner and make sure that what he has offered with this property is understood beforehand. Gorgeous area to be and amazing Valentine's dinner at the restaurant at Shana Hotel,

  We had the best experience at the condo!!!!!Everthing was perfect.....beyond our expectations. The area is great. It is wonderful to have the beach so close. Our experience was incredible because we had a chance to see monkeys on our way to the beach. From the terrace we could see a monkey and a pair of tucans. Woww!! The view form all bedrooms is perfect. Willy was were helpful in suggesting restaurants to visit and in showing us the condo.... Beds very confortable and condo very clean. We had all we needed... Property close to many good restaurants, market and very close to Manuel Antonio Park .We hope we can come back soon... Thanks fodr sharing your beautiful condo!!!!!!

  We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Condo Del Mar. Because we went in the off season, and the hotel next to it was undergoing rennovations, it was very quiet. We were often the only ones at the pool. The condo is beautiful and the views are magnificent. Willy was very helpful and hooked us up with a wonderful guide (Pablo) for the MA park. Pablo was very knowledgeable, friendly and funny. We wished we could have stayed longer. The owners of the condo were great to work with and made sure we had a top-notch experience.

  We had an outstanding time at the condo. Spacious, comfortable and immaculate. The views of the Pacific were beautiful, the swimming pool delightful, and we enjoyed watching the monkeys in the trees, before we left each morning to fish. Can't wait To return.

  We just spent 3 nights in Condo Del Mar and absolutely loved it! The view from all rooms is spectacular. We enjoyed having sunset cocktails on the veranda while watching the numerous birds flying from tree to tree. We heard howler monkeys! The condo is very clean and well maintained. It is fully equipped for cooking and entertaining. Can't wait to go back!

  We had such a great trip to Manuel Antonio! The condo is huge! Our group was numbered at 6 and we had ample space. The location is superb and private. The view is breathtaking. Would recommend this to friends for sure. We give it five stars because of all things listed above and because we got to know Willy and his staff. They are helpful and really give you the red carpet treatment. Did I mention the white face monkeys come through every morning? You have to check out the little beach down the street as well. Great little hike! The last comment is about the fishing on Frenzy 43. We had more fun sport fishing!! Absolutely amazing! The crew works hard for you. They coached us the whole way since we had not done it before. Then they taught us to fly fish as well. We saw spinner dolphins and turtles as a bonus. So fun! Next time we are bringing the kids!

  We were at Condo del Mar for a weekend, and the condo is extraordinary. Luxurious, delicately decorated, complete, beautiful, state of the art kitchen and general fourniture, extremely comfortable, with finishes and details of the highest quality. So I say, do not be fooled by the pictures, as these do not do justice to what really is the place ... just PERFECT!
