The house and surrounding area is absolutely gorgeous. The owner provided us a guided tour, all the instructions we needed, a tour of the private beach, and was absolutely terrific to work with. We could not have asked for a better experience. We came in town to get married and this house provided the perfect backdrop to our entire visit. It had amazing amenities, comfort and space. From waking up to the birds chirping to having coffee or wine on the deck this home was the ultimate place to enjoy all Michigan has to offer.Did you find this review helpful? The owner is warm, gracious and personable. The home is very clean and exquisitely decorated. A superb example of modern decor with beautiful artwork. Located on a high point the wind whistled through the trees. We loved the trampoline; all of us having a hand at jumping, the youngest 20 months to the oldest 61. The home beautifully accommodated 7 adults and 2 children. The spacious kitchen has state of the art appliances. The owner had the makings of Smores for us to roast in the fire-pit but the weather was not in our favor. Instead we relaxed by the gorgeous gas fireplace. Our children loved playing with the owners toys. The adults loved looking out from the observation tower. An extensive book collection peaked our interest. We would highly recommend this vacation home to friends.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Clearly a house that has been restored with great pride and love. Wonderful art deco furniture throughout the house.. truly a collection. In our party were 4 adults and one 3 year old child. Ample space. Cosy and homely... great selection of music and dvds. And for the photography enthusiasts, there's plenty of photography magazines and books with fantastic pictures. We've stayed in over 10 holiday homes in the USA in the past 12 months, and this is undoubtedly the best of the bunch. And that's just inside the house. The absolute best part of our stay was the idyllic hilltop tree-lined location. Fall foliage was in full swing... what a breathtaking sight. We'll be back one day.Did you find this review helpful?
