A perfect condo for a perfect getaway! The "home" is tastefully appointed, has everything a person could want! The beds are extremely comfortable and we fell asleep to sounds of the surf~ I hope to return many times~ A great location...just a little south of mid-island so everything is very accessible. Jane was so accommodating and makes certain her condo is very clean, bright and welcoming.

This property was perfect for a 2 night stay. It was very close to the beach, tennis, and pool. It is next door to palmetto dunes golf courses. We played the Aurthur Mills course and it was very nice. The only issue i had with this property is that it is a bit dated, but so is everything else in Hilton Head. The indoor pool is a little strange, not sure what they were going for when they decided to install it. The actual condo was fine. It was clean, and had a great view. It is perfect for two couples or a family with two kids. Anymore than four people and the unit would be too small. It is probably the best value on the island. The owner, Jane, is very easy to deal with and very nice. She takes a personal interests in all of her guests.

This is a beautiful condo. with incredible views from 3 rooms. The decor is beach oriented and in good taste. Amenities are great, my only complaint is a lack of signage to locate them, and very slow elevators. Having use of a beach buggy and very nice beach/backpack chairs was priceless. A great restaurant with large outdoor seating available, is The Boathouse. Hilton Head Island is gorgeous with the large mossy trees that conceal most buildings. We enjoyed Harbour town, bike riding, the Baynard Ruins and just relaxing on the beach.

The listing is very acurate to the condo. We had a wonderful time relaxing and enjoying our walks to the beach. The walk is pretty long but in the winter it was nice to walk and see all of the animals in the marsh. The condo was well stocked and perfect for our little vacation!

We had a very nice stay in this lovely unit. We wish we could have stayed longer. The pictures on the website do not do it justice. The unit is very well laid out and has many helpful items. It was also very clean and comfortable. It was a bit of a walk to the beach. I think it took us a little over 5 minutes, but it was very interesting and the beach cart was a big help. Since we were there in mid-November, the weather was a little cool, so we spent a lot of time in the indoor pool. Thanks again for a great stay!

The condo we rented was very nice and was exactly as described in the listing. We were there at non-peak travel season so it was very quiet and relaxing. It was completely furnished with everything you could imagine needing! It was immaculate and the linens were very nice and the beds very comfortable. It was our first time in Hilton Head and we would love to go back!

The description matched very well with the property location, amenities and other facilities. It is a nice boardwalk form the property to the beach. The indoor swimming pool and spa are very well maintained and a great place to relax. The owner was very prompt in responding to our queries and provided very helpful information about the area shopping and dinning places. We are very satisfied with this property and would recommend this to our friends.

We had a wonderful vacation in Hilton Head and this condo contributed greatly to that. The view is fantastic. You can see the marsh and the ocean from the living room and bedroom of this condo. It has been well maintained and was clean! Located about mid island at the Hilton Head resort it is convenient to everything. Just a 2 minute drive to Shelter Cove and all of their activities. The owner was great about getting us all of the information we needed for a great week.

Superior to the Resorts - Exceptional Quality and Great Value!

Our family of three spent the week of August 4th through August 11th in the condo. Having previously stayed at three resorts on Hilton Head, we didn’t know what to expect with the condo. All we can say is what a brilliant experience! The condo is gorgeous, very clean, with a great view of the ocean and is in the perfect location for getting to the beach, whether walking on the boardwalk and enjoying the nature, or taking the shuttle to the beach. We opted not to use the shuttle, as the boardwalk is only a 5 or 6 minute comfortable walk to the beach. The kitchen is well-appointed and perfect for folks such as myself who enjoys cooking (and grocery stores are an easy drive away). The living room is spacious, and we took advantage of the numerous board games and books that were available for use. The master bed in particular was very comfortable (and normally both my husband and I are picky about mattresses, but we both slept like babies!). We went to the beach every day, and it was no small convenience having the beach cart, the beach chairs, and various other beach toys easily transportable and available for our use. However, if you are more of a pool person, the pool area, along with the gift shop and bar, are attractive and kept very clean and maintained. Another hidden gem about the condo is the ease of parking and getting in and out of the resort for sightseeing, shopping, dining out, etc. One thing that really turned us off of staying at the resorts is it’s a bit of hassle to park and to drive in and out of the resort. I found getting in and out of the condo area so easy and so convenient. We actually got out more and did more sightseeing, activities, than we had previously simply because it was so stress-free, even just to get out for a couple of hours. I could go on, and talk about such amenities such as the free WiFi, Coco’s on the beach, and the view of the lagoons. I would highly recommend this condo, and we are already planning our trip for 2013 ?. Thanks, Jane!

Wonderful View

We have been to Hilton Head Island many times since the early 80's. The island continues to impress us. This was the first time we have stayed at Folly Field. We particularly enjoyed the sunrise each morning shining in the windows. Walking over the marsh walkway to the beach gave us a chance to see some of the wildlife and birds of the area. The beach was great and the having the choice of two bars (poolside and beachfront) was nice. Although we never did use the pool, opting instead to hit the beach every day, it was nice to know it was there to use in the evenings if we wished. This unit has one of the best equipped kitchens we have ever seen in our many trips to HHI. The owner is very helpful and easy to work with. It was great to be able to talk directly to the owner instead of with a realty management company. I would recommend this condo and its owner without hesitation!

Our family loved this condo. Excellent owner to work with. She gave us lots of extra information to help our first trip to Hilton Head be fantastic. The view was simply awesome. The area is quiet and very relaxing. The bike path was terrific! The free Wi-fi was great for our family. Will definitely go back to same unit again.

Quiet beach getaway

We arrived at this 4th floor condo a week prior to memorial day, so the resort was absolutely dead, which was fantastic! The view from the balcony as advertised was amazing, we had great weather and enjoyed spending our free time looking over the salt marsh to the ocean. We opted not to use the golf cart for transport over the marsh, since the walk is not only beautiful, relaxing and filled with wildlife but also good for you! The wildlife along the boardwalk was always entertaining, we daily observed birds such as clapper rail, great egret, night herons, anhingas, and the beautiful painted bunting at bird feeder behind Coco's. The beach access is on the quieter end of the island in my opinion, it's far from the many beach resorts on the opposite side of folly field and this is mostly surrounded by homes. The room was very clean, very quiet and relaxing. Nice sized bedrooms and bathrooms. My only complaint which really isnt even a complaint was that each building only has one elevator, but after day 1 we didnt even notice. There is a nice gift shop and poolside bar/restaurant right below the room, as well as Coco's beach bar on the beach. Excellent drinks and food.The owner was very easy to work with, kept me updated on the booking process and answered all of my questions at lightning speed. Very enjoyable to work with, would greatly like to return!

Relaxation in Comfort and Style

My wife and I did our own spring break / anniversary celebration. The condo was perfect for the two of us, and would have been fine for 2-4 more. It was clean and up to date. Fully stocked with utensils, pots, pans, and "starter stuff" which we didn't run out of. We cooked a couple breakfasts and lunches and found everything in good working order. We walked on the beach more than we hung out at the beach, so although there were chairs, a cooler and a cart to tote everything, we didn't make use of those. The entire condo is nicely furnished, but not so lavish that you can't settle in and make yourself at home. You'll tuck things away and be comfortable in no time!! The amenities are handy (pool, grill, Coco's beachside, tennis, more pools, etc) if you want them. The screened balcony is great (especially in mild weather like we had). Just throw open a window on one side, and the balcony door on the other, and you've got perfect breezes / ventilation. The properties around us were apparently at about 50-75% occupancy, but we hardly heard a peep from them. The most annoying thing (and not very annoying) is the golf cart running back and forth down the boardwalk to the beach and it's beep-beep-beep in reverse every 30-60 minutes. Other than that, it's peace and quiet, with sightings of hawks, ospreys, cranes, egrets, rabbits, and the alligator that inhabits the pond just beside the boardwalk. YES, really !! But no worries, he only eats idle security guards... Note to the TV-centric vacationers (if you can imagine someone that crazy): the TV's are not flat screen HDTV's with HDMI and all the bells and whistles, but they are high quality and have good pictures and the cable is reliable and has lots of choices. There is a DVD and VHS player built in to the one in the main area (didn't pay attention to any others). The owner is an absolute delight to deal with. From working out the dates and details, to sending you a raft of great information on dining and shopping, your every need will be met. She's great, and very much intent on making your stay enjoyable. Which she is very successful at -- so book and enjoy!!!!

We rented this unit for a quick getaway weekend. The unit was spacious, well maintained and offered a wonderful view. We spoke with the owner, Jane, a few times and she was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the Hilton Head area. The unit was just a short walk or drive from shopping, the beach and restaurants. We will definitely consider this property for our next visit.

We had a fabulous time at HH Resort! The condo was adorable, very clean, had an unbeatable view, and had everything we needed or wanted. Beautiful sunrise every morning and sunsets each night. There was lots to do on the property and off in the adjacent HH community. The beach was not crowded, nor did it have that public beach feel. Cocoas on the Beach was fun and had a tropical feel to it - a little pricey, but it is vacation, afterall. It was very nice to have our own place and not have to worry about cleaners coming in and displacing personal items. The beach was excellent for walking or biking. The pools were a good size and the hot tub was just right at 102 degrees. The property is beautiful and well cared for, also. It will be a pleasure to go back as soon as we can! Can't wait!

We had a really good time on our recent visit to Hilton Head. Our condo was very comfortable and had a great ocean view from almost every room. We could hear the waves from the balcony! We cooked in some and had all the equipment we needed-and could enjoy the view from the kitchen. NIce quiet part of the resort and even in the winter, the beach is beautiful- and solid for walking and biking.

We stayed 7 nights in this condo. It is very clean and comfortable. It has a great view of the ocean, plus the screened in balcony was perfect-no bugs all week! There is a quick 5-7 minute walk on the boardwalk to the beach or a 1 minute golf cart ride. The location on the island is great and this is close to everything. We enjoyed the swimming pool and hot tub in the within the resort as well. Highly recommend!

We have ranked this vacation as one of our best. The Hilton Head experience is wonderful. To help make it that way, your condo was so clean, and comfortable for our family. The unit was furnished extremely well. There were more than enough cooking supplies if we wanted to eat in. And the beach going accessories were a huge help. We were also very pleased with Hilton Head Resort. We could have just stayed on the property and had a great time, with the pools, beach and tennis. Also, the store/resteraunt, was very convenient and affordable. Thank you for everything.

Had a great time. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. Place was clean and well maintained. Kitchen well equipped. Unit is nicely decorated, festive and bright. Balcony view great, beach walk easy and invigorating. In-unit Wi-Fi net a big plus for us. Nov - Feb is the off season here, so facilities are almost always available. Security is good, area is safe and secure. Well worth the rental fee, good value for your money. Savannah is great, about 45 minutes away. Restaurants we recommend are Crazy Crab, Bonefish Grill, and Roast Fish and Cornbread, this last one is a local eatery.

Beautiful view from porch

We had a fantastic time in Hilton Head. The view from the porch is amazing, especially if you get up early enough to see the sunrise. Very comfortable for 2 adults and 2 children. As some other guests have noted, the beach cart was a lifesaver. We would have never made it with all our stuff otherwise. The walk to the beach is about 5 minutes but it is a beautiful view. The bed in the master bedroom is so comfortable I had a hard time getting up each morning. The owners are very easy to deal with and we had no problems with any of the arrangements. We did not want to come home. The pool is very large and had a lot of shallow area for the kids to play. Overall a great vacation.

Just returned.Condo was more than spacious enough for us-2 adults and 2 17 yr. old boys and was absolutely wonderful.Greatly exceeded our expectations.Beach cart in closet was fantastic and the beach shuttle was great, although the walk wasn't bad. Bed in master bedroom was ABSOLUTELY DIVINE!Weather wasn't the greatest, but we still had plenty of beach & pool time.I think you thought of everything.We left behind a beach horseshoe set-took it along and didn't need it at home-hope your future guests can enjoy it.Enjoyed the screened in porch and the WI-FI was awesome.AND NOT A BUG OR SPIDER ANYWHERE IN THE CONDO-how did you manage that one in the South?We did see a snake slither across the sidewalk and we got pictures of the gator in the lagoon on the property. (I'll mail them to you.) All in all, a great vacation value.WOULD DEFINITELY rent this property again! Oh, and can I recommend eating at The Crazy Crab? Just a short drive on 278 for THE BEST seafood we've EVER eaten-so good we had to go back again the next night! (And we love seafood!) We just got back from HHI this weekend. This condo was wonderful. Very nice, well stocked (love the beach cart - used it EVERY day), and had a fantastic view. Having a condo so close to the beach and near a pool was something you can't get very often in Hilton Head. Having WiFi in the condo was a necessity for me and rare in the condos we researched. Great amenities and great condo - especially for the price!

A most excellent vacation

I stayed here this week with my 2 boys who were just home from college. All 3 of us were ready for some R&R. The condo was clean, beautiful and comfortable! Enjoyed my morning coffee from the screened porch while listening to and watching the surf. We had sunshine every day of our vacation and came at a time when there were no crowds. The beach was clean and quiet! The resort staff, from the poolside grill to Coco's were all friendly and accommodating. Will definitely come back!

A cool condo

We just got back from our week long vacation. The condo was nice and cozy and very clean! It was the perfect size for the four of us. The walk to the beach was a bit long but having the golf cart/shuttle was very handy. And the beach cart in the closet was most helpful to lug all our "stuff". The ocean was beautiful, it was cool to see how the tide fluctuates throughout the day! Thanks for letting us rent your place for the week!

We have stayed at this condo twice. I have rented another unit w/in HHR which was nowhere near as nice. The owners are very pleasant to deal with and have really thought of everything for the condo. It has a beautiful view of the ocean. We love Hilton Head and would not hesitate to rent this condo again.

June 6, 2009 I wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed staying in your condo. I loved the view over the marsh to the ocean and especially watching the tide flow in and out over the marsh. Gorgeous sunrises both from the beach and from your living room! All week as we walked to and from the beach we watch a mother bird (?name) sit on her nest and finally saw one of her just born baby chicks! The weather was gorgeous, only a couple of exciting thunderstorms; otherwise, sunny with a wonderful breeze. I was amazed that there were no mosquitoes – how did you manage that? Our 6 year old grandson had a blast, so much so that one day he asked to take a nap and went to bed early in the evening without being coaxed! Your condo had everything we needed and then some. Thank you for the great beach chairs that strap on the back and the beach buckets, etc…. very thoughtful and appreciated. Although we never ate at the cabana, it was great having restrooms available on the beach. Thank you for sharing your great vacation home! Hope to be back next year if not before. Carole Johnson

Just got back from your condo (13-19 Apr 09). I really enjoyed seeing the sun come up over the ocean, it was beautiful. I thought it would be a long walk to the beach, but it was a nice stroll thru the marshland and we all really enjoyed it. Condo was nicely decorated and the beds were wonderful! Enjoyed staying there this past week. Great place to stay, I would definitely stay here again.

Let me first say it was so easy to rent and get info from owner they are great all details were covered no surprises wonderful people to deal with.The condo and the view were great, great sunsets from your own balcony, rooms were very comfortable we had everything we needed at the condo for 2 months stay. The walk from the parking lot was a little long to get to the elavator but that would be the only negative comment I would have. If you get a chance to rent this condo jump on it you won't be sorry. We visited Hilton Head on the week of July 26,2008. We had a wonderful time. It was the first time visiting here. The condo was very nice. Very cute and cozy. The owners make everything so easy. I liked the basket that has all kinds of information of things to do. That was very handy. Also the beach is very clean and the marsh is very interesting. Being our first time, we were a little nervous driving and trying to find things. But it didn't take long to get familiar with everything.

We had a wonderful time in Hilton Head. It was our first time. This room was quite cozy and very cute. We enjoyed our stay. We will defintley visit again. Thanks for sharing your home away from home.

What a nice condo!!! It has a million dollar view of the sunrise, marsh and beach!!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. It is located perfectly for the things we were interested in doing such as golfing, dining out, and shopping. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies so eating in was no problem. The pool was great for when the beach was too hot, and the trolley driver was always fun and polite. We will definitely keep this unit in mind for future vacations to HH.

We stayed at this condo over New Years holiday and have stayed at two other condos within this same resort the summer prior. This condo is the perfect family get-a-way. For families with children the extra bedroom (with its own tv (which other condos did not have), extra bathroom, indoor pool and hot tub, location to the boardwalk and outstanding beach views, this condo is second to none. The overall location of HH Resort is perfect. The furnishings are very nice, in great condition and don't give you that "ew.. should I keep my shoes on and lay a blanket on the couch before I sit on it" feeling. As experienced vacation home renters, I know this often is not the case, especially in beach rentals. The owners are wonderful people who pull out all of the stops to make your every stay a "dream family vacation" experience. I cannot recommend it enough.

Great location to all activities on the island! Beach is very nice and the view in the morning from the tv room is a nice start to each day. We had kids that enjoyed the large pool when not at the beach. Very affordable lunches at the pool and beach for this building. Accommadations are very enjoyable for this unit. We kept our bikes under the building right next to the steps and all was very well. Have a great HH vacation renting this unit.

We had a fabulous quick little get away. The boardwalk is wonderful with hourly shuttle service - even better. This beautiful condo made everything complete! We love the screened-in balcony.

What a great place. The view is awesome! We had such a wonderful vacation. We couldn't have picked a nicer place. The condo is beautiful and the beach is perfect. Thanks so much! The only bad thing about the trip was having to go home.
