Coming from NYC, the 1000 sq ft sprawling Neoclassic suite I stayed in was such a treat! Honestly, I hung my hat and wished I'd never have to leave. The "suite" was more like a fully furnished home. There was a beautifully decorated master bedroom with the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in! I actually asked the manager where they buy their sheets because they were so AMAZING! The shower in the bathroom had a rain forest showerhead and very pretty mosaic tiles. The full kitchen had every thing a cook could want to cook or bake with, which helped me to cut down on some of my dining out expenses. I also enjoyed some great R & R time just plopped on the huge white sofa living room/ dining room area. The entrance to my suite was like something out of a book. There was an archway covered with Jasmine & Roses, and a thick hedge of jasmine leading up the stairway to my private entrance. I was assigned a small parking space covered with cascading fuchsia bougainvillea in a carport in back of the hotel. It was a small space, but typical of city parking and plenty big enough for the SUV I had rented. The hotel was so centrally located that it made my agenda so accessible and simple. I rarely saw any staff, which I rather liked as I am a very private person. Still, there was a letter addressing me when I arrived with contact numbers in case I did need to reach a member of the hotel staff after hours. I did have the pleasure of meeting one of the owners. She explained to me that they were opening a few more bungalows in the near future, which I am eager to try out on my next trip to LA.

I just got back from a weekend in Hollywood with my husband for our anniversary. Villa Delle Stelle was perfect for us. This is not your typical chain hotel. It is a lovely home that sits in a regular neighborhood in Hollywood. There is not a 24 hr. front desk, you basically get your own little apartment in Hollywood which is exactly the way we like to travel. As for the tight parking spaces, yes they're a little small but no smaller than many spots in the city...and free! Any nearby hotels were charging $20/night for parking so I was happy to have the space. I stayed in one of the new bungalows around the corner and I'm sure each room is so different that I can really only comment on our Le Petit Suite. It was small but very cozy for us, again if you are expecting a giant hotel room you shouldn't book something called "petit". We loved it. The layout was great for such a small space, there was a separate living room and even a small kitchen. And a full size shower with an awesome showerhead, great water pressure isn't always easy to find. The bed was SOOOO comfortable. We walked everywhere, coming home late in the evening both nights. Yes there were some "characters" (this is Hollywood after all) on the streets but we never felt unsafe. I thought the location was ideal, close enough to walk to the main Hollywood sights but far enough away that we felt we got away to our retreat. I would love to come back and check out the other suites at Villa Delle Stelle.

Villa Delle Stelle is a beautiful boutique of themed rooms that are tastefully decorated. Although we didn't care much for LA, the hotel made up for it. We even spent some days in because the rooms were so comfortable. It felt like we were in our own penthouse apartment. The bed was very comfortable, plenty of space for our things, free water and free parking-a big plus. The host, Brogan, was very welcoming and kind upon our arrival and when we needed help doing laundry.

Villa Dell Stelle is the perfect choice for us in LA as the accommodation is spacious, charming and literally a home from home. We stayed in the new duplex (Hollywood glamour suite) and we have also stayed in the bungalow too. Both have every convenience that you would want for self catering. The Hollywood Glamour suite is newly renovated and very spacious. There is a fantastic patio with seating and a dining table. Although the management keep their distance (you can go the duration of your stay with no contact) which is fine by me, when we did need to speak to them they were very helpful. There is a very comprehensive file in the apartment with information on just about everything that you would need to know. I am English and am used to a slightly more shabby chic kind of interior, so it is literally like a home from home. I personally love the quirky touches.
