Within the gates of Lewis Ranch, located at the Lumberjack chair lift is a true and direct ski-in/ski-out treasure called “The Mill.” It boasts the closest location to a lift anywhere in Copper, unobstructed panoramic views of the sky chutes, ski area and Vail Valley.
The Mill is located directly on the ski run just steps from the base of the chairlift, there simply is no closer or better location available. The Mill in Lewis Ranch features a gourmet commercial chefs kitchen with Wolf appliances, dual Sub Zero Refrigerators, a hand forged copper hood, and other gourmet level appliances.
The adjoining living room is spacious yet cozy with a 16 foot copper and stone gas fireplace, flat screen lcd, custom built-ins with surround sound, and southern panoramic ski area views. The dining area overlooks the Sky Chutes and ski area and features heirloom quality built-ins with dining area seating for 12.
Upstairs from the kitchen and living room level is the dedicated home theater with theater lighting, projection screen, surround sound, and seating for up to 8 in the comfy oversized red leather recliner sofas. Outside the theater grab a popcorn from the refreshment bar which has a microwave and mini fridge for movie time snacks.
This level of the home also has the second Master Suite with king size bed, stone gas fireplace, flatscreen lcd, DVD, and en-suite bathroom with a steam shower and dual copper sinks.
Upstairs from the theater level is the Master Retreat offering total privacy, a cantilevered office loft with a large work space and desk, and printer. The Master Suite has a king size bed, copper and stone gas fireplace, walk in custom closet with a high efficiency washer and dryer, lcd flatscreen and DVD. The Master Bath features an oversized jetted tub, dual steam shower with piped in mp3 music, dual copper vanity, and even a bidet.
Downstairs is the game room with billiards table, flat screen lcd, wet bar, and ping pong table. The family room has a flat screen lcd, DVD, temp controlled wine storage, bar, and comfortable seating around the stone gas fireplace. Downstairs are 2 bedrooms, the third bedroom of the house has a queen size bed, private full bathroom, fireplace, flat screen lcd and DVD. The Bunk room is perfect for kids with 2 sets of queen over queen bunk (4 queens total) and each bunk even has its own private flatscreen lcd built in. There is a full bathroom in the hallway outside the bunk room.

Lower Level: 3rd Queen Bedroom and Private bath

The ski-in entry room has dedicated ski, board and boot storage, refreshment bar for hot chocolate, microwave, fridge, washer dryer, and is a great place to ski in for a break or lunch and then hit the slopes again! Simply ski to the door (no hiking, true ski-in/ski-out), unhook and enjoy a steam shower, billiards, of stargazing from the private hot tub.
For your convenience there are two full size high efficiency commercial grade washer/dryers, one set in the Master bedroom and one set in laundry room. Linens are provided and every bed is a 'Cloud' with full down comforters and pillows. The beds are spa quality and are amazingly comfortable.
Other Amenities Include:
Deck with ski area views, private oversized hot tub, gas grill. Located just a snowballs throw away from the base of the Lumberjack chairlift.

This was an incredible home well suited for a large family and additional friends. First of all, the home is breathtaking. There were so many amenities that they are difficult to list but just to name a few; the billiard room where we enjoyed many "tournaments," the steam showers, superb bedrooms, bunk room with built in flat screens into each queen bunk, two family rooms with fireplaces, hot tub, fantastic and huge gourmet kitchen with Wolfe appliances, griddle, and grill We skied in everyday at lunch and enjoyed the house instead of eating in a restaurants on the mountain and took our time thawing out. Would recommend Cari at Summit Mountain Properties and the The Mill to our friends.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

There are no words to describe this house. The amenities are incredible. Our favorite parts were the steam showers, hot tub, pool table, movie theater, radiant heat floors, and all of the fireplaces. Our family likes to stay in on our ski vacations and this home definetly allows you to do that without feeling cramped. It offers all of the entertainment you would need and an awesome kitchen to do all of your cooking so you can save on money. The location is prime on the mountain for skiing. It is literally steps away from the lumberjack lift. It is great for people who are traveling with little kids or those who tire out easy. The service from the staff was excellent. They made check in and out very easy and made sure we had everything we needed. We definetly hope to make this a regular family vacation home! Loved the house, loved the service from Summit Mtn Properties, Cari and Eric were incredible! this is really truly a ski in-ski out house. location was very very private, even with the other houses/units fairly close. we loved having a huge central living area (kitchen/dining room/living room with fire place and gorgeous view of mountains) for the family gatherings, even on the day that the winds/snow was so bad the mountain was closed. a great place for a family vacation!!!Did you find this review helpful? a phenomenal house. 25 feet from the lift. beds were incredibly comfortable, hot tub, steam shower, radiant heat floors, just incredible. 2 very minor nits, which is no blowdryers for hair and still have to pay for parking down in the village. with those nits, this is still a remarkable house with wonderful support and service from the realty company. we're looking to return in March and probably next Christmas as well. thank you Cari and Eric!!!!!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I just wanted to let you know that our entire group LOVED the house. The entire weekend we all could not stop raving about how wonderful it was. Even today a few of our group called to tell me how great the weekend was. Please let Eric know too. Thank you so much for all your help. A group of 10 adults comprised of 3 couples and 4 singles went up for a weekend. We had a fantastic time. The house is amazing and works wonderfully for a group. There is a large common area but plenty of other spaces for people to have some time alone. Also because of how the house is designed people can stay up and not wake those that have already gone to bed. We are looking forward to staying there again!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
