  What a find! This lake home is a gem. The pictures do not do it justice....it is a large home! Parents could stay on main floor with out having to climb stairs, kids could hang out on first level and plenty of room on top floor to view the lake and have peace and quiet. I was a little leary of booking on a "canal" but found it to be a treat. Shallow enough for the kids to goof and fish and peaceful too. Plus the fishing was by far the best within 100 feet of the house. We caught more fish than any other lake that we have stayed on in the past 10 years. The 2 boats we rented really added to the vacation. Skiing and tubing were great for the speed boat and the adults could watch from the pontoon or do a night cruise. There is even an island on this lake to pull up to and have a picnic. Many things to do in the area for the kids....putt putt, cascade falls, deer feeding, ice cream, movies, MIS, Bunde Hill, and the grocery store is close too! God willing we will be back next year. Thanks to Diane who did an awesome job of communicating info. Thanks for the great memories!

  Diane was wonderful to work with. She went out of her way to make things nice for us. We were a bit disappointed that we were really on the canal and not on Lake Columbia, but it was rather easy to walk to the lake area through the water since we were the first house down. You can not enter the lake from the "park" area adjacent to the yard. The house is beautiful, but not much seating space in the kitchen for large groups. The yard was great for the kids (big and little) to play in. They even had the extra bonus of having a basketball hoop to play with. The older kids fished for hours!

  My extended family of 10 stayed at this beautiful home last week and it exceeded our expectations. The pictures don't do it justice as it is far nicer in person. The location is perfect and the lake views are beautiful. The home was exceptionally clean and well maintained, and we all felt very comfortable there. Diane was extremely helpful and answered all our questions promptly. The first floor bedroom worked great for my parents as once they were in the house, they didn't have to climb anymore steps to their bedroom or the bathroom, and could come out to the deck from the kitchen. The kids enjoyed having the lower level walk out to themselves and loved tubing on the lake. We loved the lake and would definitely recommend the house, the lake and the area to others. We hope to come back again next year!

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

May & September.........$1700/week $350/night($500 deposit)  3/night minimum stay
June, July, Aug.........$2200/week $400/night($500 deposit)  6/night minimum stay
$500.00 security deposit refunded within 7 days after departing assuming no damage
Cleaning fee $200
