Beautifully furnished Condo, including some newly added furnishings for this year, with all the amenities including a queen-size bed in the master bedroom as well as queen-size beds in each of the other two bedrooms. This Condo provides more than enough comfort to sleep six people. Two air mattresses are also available for two additional persons. Beautifully furnished lanai with a breath taking view of the lake.
Each bedroom is furnished with an LCD flat screen TV with cable. The Master Bedroom and one of the other two bedrooms have DVD players.
Wireless internet access available throughout the condo.
If you have a boat, bring it along! This rate includes the use of a 12 by 32 foot boat slip. If you would rather stay near the Condo, enjoy the clubhouse, tennis courts, and the four fantastic pools.
The Palisades Condominiums are located on HH Road near several golf courses, the strip at Bagnell Dam, minutes away from 110 outlet shops at Osage Village Mall, and near many restaurants including the Horny Toad complex.

This condo was EXCELLENT. As previous reviews stated, the photos don't do it justice. It was far more spacious than the images let on. The bedrooms were all comfortable sizes (we had eight people staying), and the closets were able to accommodated all of our luggage and snacks, saving extra space. We never felt crowded. The patio was perfect for morning coffee! It gets direct western sun exposure, so we didn't utilize it much until the sun set in the evening otherwise. There were plenty of linens, towels, dishes and seating for the eight of us. I would discourage renters with mobility impairments from renting ONLY because of the distance from the pools and the amount of stairs. There is a road where patrons could drive down closer to the pool, but there's no way to avoid the stairs at some point, and they're very steep. Otherwise, it is friendly to all age groups!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

We stayed here in July with two other couples and had a great time. The condo was very clean and nice. We loved the patio, right off the lake. The only down side is that there was a bit of a walk to the pools. It was a short drive from everything we needed!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

We stayed here last summer, and had a fantastic time. The condo was extremely clean and well-furnished. The pictures didn't even begin to do it justice. The view off the balcony is amazing, especially in the early mornings when the sun is coming up. You've got your choice of three pools and the dam is close by for shopping. Our only complaint wasn't with the condo itself, but the pools. They had such a strong chlorine smell that a few of us started feeling sick after being in them for a while. Was only there three days, not sure if that's a recurring problem or not.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, girls getaway.

We had a really great time, the condo is beautiful. I would not recommend this condo to older people that have trouble with stairs though since it is down two levels and you have to carry every thing down and then back up. The view was great & it was really nice sitting on the deck in the early morning watching the lake & the resident ground hog. It was close enough to a marina that we were able to go and rent a boat and have a nice time on the water. It was great having all the bedrooms and no one had to sleep on the couch! I would recommend bringing your own toilet paper though - we ran out!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, pet owners, girls getaway.

We stayed at the condo in June '08 and had a wonderful time. Everything in the condo is beautiful and brand new. There were lots of steps to the pool and boat dock but we all did fine and got some good exercise at the same time! Ray and Ruth were very accomodating and easy to deal with. There were 6 of us for part of the time we visited and we were all very comfortable in the condo. There is lots to see and do. We enjoyed many of the restaurants off of the lake. Thanks for a great vacation!Owner response: They preferred the larger pool in a different location of the complex instead of the one just steps away from the condo.

We had the time of our lives. nice and quiet, roomy. every detail was thought of as far as amenities and household items. the sorounding condos were quiet. people minded their own business. They just waved and said hi and moved on. the shopping was great. we would do it again. the weather was kind of cold, but we got a few good warm days in.it was great.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We stayed at this condo in August and had a wonderful time. The view is great and the condo is very nicely furnished. Lots of steps to the boat docks but for us it was not a problem and it was good exercise. We will definitely stay here again. Ruth and Ray are very easy to deal with. Once you reach Horseshoe Bend Parkway off of Business 54, simply go through the signal at Duckhead Rd., go past Bank Star One, and make a left into the first driveway on the left hand side. As you pull into the complex, make an immediate right turn, then a quick left turn and you're in front of Building 16. Look for parking place marked 1A on the steel tube fencing. All other vehicles must park between the garages.

About the owner: This is your Captain speaking......Hi!, I'm Scott Rothenberger and I purchased this beautiful condo for a place to go and totally relax. Shortly after purchasing this property I was transferred to Xiamen China. My job as an airline pilot sometimes moves me around. Therefore I decided to make this wonderful condo available to others who needed a place to go and relax and enjoy the many things at Lake of the Ozarks.
Why the Owner Chose Horseshoebend:
Lake of the Ozarks is the 'Jewel of the Midwest,' and I felt it would be a great place to vacation no matter where I lived in the continental U.S. I also went to High School and College in the midwest and fell in love with the Lake and its fantastic night life and fabulous restaurants. I knew that the lake area was growing very rapidly and would be a great area to invest in as well.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
I really enjoy the fabulous 5 mile view of the Lake from the Lanai. The fishing is also fun and relaxing, either from the slip, or while on a boat. Swimming or just enjoying the afternoon sun is also fun, especially when one of the 4 pools is just a few steps away from my condo.
