Completely remodeled cottage on quiet Sargent Point, situated at the end of an unpaved peninsula, in the quaint fishing village of Winter Harbor. One mile from Acadia National Park's Schoodic Peninsula, and walking distance to the Bar Harbor Ferry. Our Cottage is 35 feet from the water's edge with 180 feet of pink granite shoreline.
The panoramic water views are of Mark Island Lighthouse, the town of Winter Harbor, Cadillac Mountain, along with marine and wild life at your fingertips. Across the front yard, follow the tree lined dirt path to the Mill Stream, which is perfect for easy hiking, swimming, fishing,clamming, kayaking, picnicing and shell/beach glass collecting.
Have your breakfast on the rocks as you watch working lobstermen tend their traps. Welcome the change in the tides during the day and enjoy beautiful sunsets over Mount Desert.
