Spacious House just waiting to welcome you! Sitting on a rushing creek inside the kettle, "Creekside Retreat" has seven bedrooms, four bathrooms, and spectacular open common areas for you to enjoy. Open your windows and enjoy the sound of babbling water. There is even a spotlight to enjoy the creek in the evening with plenty of outdoor seating. In the early morning or at dusk, sit out and enjoy the deer as they eat among the woods behind and beside our house.
There is a wrap around decking area as well for you to enjoy the outdoors. Ample parking available in flat driveway. You are just around the corner from golf, skiing, and fishing. There is also a spectacular overlook point from the mountaintop with a great hiking trail.
Inside is a perfect place for friends and family to gather. The entry level is divided into two family suites. One queen bedroom and one full bedroom joined by a bathroom connect to a family room. Off the other side of the family room is a full bedroom and bedroom with two twin beds. There is also another bathroom on that level. Walk up the stairs and be prepared to be awed.
The incredible open great room is the perfect place for the whole group to gather. Sitting/TV area, dining area, game table, and kitchen are all in one big room with vaulted ceiling and lots of light. The master suite on that level is huge with a private bathroom. Also on this level are two more rooms with bunkbeds (sleep four each) and another bathroom. This layout is fantastic for being able to be together when you want to and being able to have you own space as well.
If you have a larger group, there is a fantastic cottage just 5 houses down the street that accomodates 8 people. Our house seats 21 for meals together in one big room. We are happy to give you more information!

Parking: 6 cars that must be parked in driveway of Creekside Retreat.

We had a wonderful weekend here. The environment is so nice. The house is clean and very well decorated. It's so convenient to everything, at the same time, the neighborhood is very quiet and close to nature. It's definitely worthy of a return trip in the future. We had a wonderful team retreat week-end at the start of a new semester. A great facility for 14 adults and 3 kids. Hopefully this will become a team tradition. Christians on Campus George Mason University

A great house for a family reunion and base for exploring. Everything from a quick bike ride along the road to the visions from Skyline Drive. Of special note is the buck who sleeps in the back yard and there are also does that visit regularly. Even the "gentle" stream is very spectacular in a torential rainstorm. We had a great week based in your lovely home. The resort is very pleasant and safe. The wildlife is interesting. The facilities are good. We had a superb week sharing one huge amount of space with family from Coastal VA, something we rarely get to do as we are about 3,500 miles apart! Thanks again.
