Charming 1880's cottage with 12 foot ceilings and over-sized windows has been lovingly maintained and updated with HVAC and disposal, washer/dryer to complement ceiling fans and clothesline. Outside shower and sunporch/mudroom make this beach living easy, comfortable and reminiscent of yesteryear's life style. Boardgames abound and the VCR is built into the screen for easy mobility (limited tape library so bring your favorites and feel free to ake donations).
On the Jolley Trolley line, midway between the Rehoboth boardwalk and the Rusty Rudder, with bikes (four to five) available to you, park the car and walk for the week (bring your own helmets).
Family living is encouraged with spacious eat-in kitchen (floor to ceiling windows) and banquet sized table hidden in livingroom cabinet. This is a beach cottage that encourages 'Relaxing' and sharing time with those you enjoy. Pack that pile of books and magazines and come on down Sunday PM to Sunday AM and avoid most of the traffic!!

- Air Conditioning: Whole house supplemented with ceiling fams in all first floor rooms, and additional A/C units in upper bedrooms for individual control
- Washer: Over-sized-PLEASE DRY SANDY TOWELS on the line first and shake before putting in machines-as sand will destroy appliance
- Dryer: Net filter will clog if fabric softener sheets are used-this is a fire hazard and can be checked by running water through the filter.
- Off Street Parking: We have three(3) parrallel spots along Carolina-get wheels off black top and several protected yard spots around infront of the original front door(RTE 1 or west side of cottage-driveway on east side belongs to Northern neighbor

- Twin/Single Bed (9) : Remaining three bedrooms have three singles or two with a convertible sofa (extra portable beds in the eaves)

Why the Owner Chose Rehoboth Beach
This is ideal for walkers-Silver Lake is a wildbird refuge one street away, or at the end of our cul-de-sac--you can walk north on the beach and shortly reach the beginning of the Boardwalk that leadds to the Amusements and Beach treats galore or you can walk south following the side walk and reach the Rusty Rudder for Sunset on the bay drinks, live music and a chance to dance reggae with a toddler, your teen or gramps...as well as the tanned and terrific...plis the jolley trolley and the bike taxis go right by the street corner on which we sit.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage
The most wonderful benefit is the sea air filling up the 14 ft ceilinged rooms and the ceiling fans, and the 10 ft windows,screened or shut for the central air just providing a light feeling away from the ringing of phones (if you turn them off) and the demands of the non-family work a day world. Here you can shop the discounts or sit and read listening to the ocean or build sand castles or just walk the ocean edge...it is very restful and convenient enough to the activity centers, water parks golf bumpre cars etc for the young and the restless to entertain themselves in safety protected by a walking constabulary which seems to employ ALL the local teens not occupied as lifeguards or in the shops and restaurants.

AS young mothers in 1980 my best friend and I shared a week in this cottage and every summer until we could afford a week each (then we both went for both) with our no longer toddlers..in 1998 tho old babes that owned it decided to sell and we feared they'd sell to a non-renting family SO we put our pennies together with my oldest by then an officier in the USMC and we purchased and continued to rent to the same families--now we are the old babes and the grandchildren of the first wave are renting from us..won't you join us at the Green Granny Cottage for an old-fashioned walk to the beach ,catch fireflys and 'kick-the-can' on the cul-de-sac.
