Howth is situated on a peninsula on the north Dublin coast. St. Lawrence Quay apartments are superbly located with panoramic views overlooking Howth Harbour, the Marina, lighthouse and piers. Howth Castle Demense (a five minute walk from apartment) is situated on 30 acres with 2000 varieties of Rhododendrons, ancient dolmen and Deer Park Golf Course. Howth Head (560 feet) offers scenic walks and panoramic vistas of Dublin Bay that G.H. Wells described as "the most wonderful view in the World". The Bailey Lighthouse welcomes visitors to Dublin and is one of the first sights of Ireland they see when arriving by plane or sea. Photographers will delight in the great photo opportunities available with all the abundant scenery on land and sea. Sailors will enjoy all the boats of the harbour. The apartment is located directly across the road from the Marina and Howth Yacht Club.
Also nearby is Portmarnock and its velvet strand and famous championship golf links. The quaint village of Malahide is a mere 15-minute drive. Enjoy its ambiance and coastal location, pubs and restaurants and historic Malahide Castle. |
