  If you're looking for a place big enough for the whole family you will not find a better place to stay by the beach for the price. Chris is easy to get in touch with and very kind. We enjoyed our two week stay and will be back.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children.

  We came to visit for Spring break with our high school, college, and elementary school aged children, and had great time for everyone! The bedrooms were all very roomy with their own full baths, not to mention the walkout patios on the 2nd and 3rd floors with great seating areas. The close by small pool and fresh water lake with a dock gave us plenty of quiet outdoor activities, as well as the short walk to the beach across the main road. We will definitely return !

  This was the second time we have stayed here. As always Chris is very helpful in making your stay GREAT! The town home was clean and had everything in it you would need for any meal. It has plenty of space for everyone. The area is close to outlet malls, Walmart, and Publix even a dollar general store. It is a quite place to stay. The beach is always clean and not real crowded either. The beach is a short 5 min walk to the public access area. The swimming pool is directly across the street. You can sit on the balcony and see the pool. We are looking forward to staying again next year. Thanks Chris for another great vacation;;

  My family spent last week at this rental. We had eight adults and three children . We brought an air mattress for some to sleep on but it leaked. Chris, the owner, provided a new one for us as soon as he found out. It was very clean and had plenty of space for our family. Chris was always available for anything we needed and more. He even provided an assortment of beach supplies and an umbrella to use on the beach. If you have room to travel with bikes, this is a perfect place for riding to the beach or just around the neighborhood. We found out there is also golf carts for rental in the area. The pool is right across the street. The beach was perfect, except for the seaweed but you can't help that sometimes. It's located between Panama City and Destin. We found it was just as easy to go to Panama City as it was Destin and didn't have as much traffic so we did that a few times. You are just a few minutes from Wal-mart, so you don't have to drive into Destin and fight the traffic to pick up groceries. We cooked a few meals and had everything we needed. There were even a few containers for leftovers available. The view from our balcony was great! It overlooked the pool, lake and Gulf in the distance. It was a nice breeze at night so we sat out on the balcony at night and hung out. Great family time! My Mom came with us and loved sitting out on the balcony just relaxing, reading, and drinking her coffee. We loved it and didn't want to leave. I cannot say enough about how helpful Chris was. He truly wants his tenants to have a great time. We can't wait to go back! Perfect family vacation!

  We had a wonderful time at the Emma Louise!! The accomedations, views, and amenities are great! We had everything we needed while staying here. You are just a short walk to the beach, a great swimming pool for the kids and a bay to catch a few fish. I love that you are on a dead end street so when the kids get tired of the beach they can ride their bikes or go swimming and parents don't have to worry about watching 24/7. I recommend this property to anyone looking for a stay right outside of Destin.

  Two grandparents, two sets of parents and four young children found this property ideal for the 10 of us. The beach was a comfortable walk, the pool was adequate and the evenings were calm and quiet. Convenient to Walmart and Publix; owner accommodating and helpful; fully equipped kitchen and good area restaurants, too. We arrived and departed on a Saturday and STRONGLY believe that due to horrendous traffic that anyone who offers Sunday-to-Sunday rentals will be fully booked.

  My family, along with my extended family, spent last week at this rental. We had six adults and four children under seven. We had a great experience. The townhouse was very nice and very spacious. It was nicely furnished and very clean. The owner is so kind and was very helpful in planning the trip. He even provided an assortment of beach supplies for our use while there. Our kids brought their bikes and rode them to the beach each day. The until connects to a nice bike/running path leading straight to the beach. It was only about a 3 minute walk to the beach. The pool and lake were nice too. My kids enjoyed fishing off the lake pier. The beach was not very crowded at all for peak season in this location. You are close to great restaurants and shopping, but you are far enough to avoid the crowds. You are just a few minutes from the new Wal-mart and Publix, so you don't have to drive into Destin and traffic for anything - unless you want to. The view from our balcony overlooked the pool, lake and Gulf in the distance. We really enjoyed our stay. I cannot say enough about the helpful owner - he was so nice. We left my daughter's blankie in the dryer and he mailed it to us immediately. A lovely, quiet, beach escape during peak season is hard to find - but this is it.

  Beautiful clean home and tastefully decorated. Chris was a great help and very welcoming to the area. He provided tips to the area and was readily available to assist with any needs. He had beach chairs, umbrella, sand toys and beach mats for us to use. The walk to the beach was easy. However, we chose to drive down to Seaside and Watercolor beaches. We would have liked to have more shops and restaurants within walking distance at Dune Allen Beach.

  We had a great time during our 1 week stay at the "Emma Louise". The place is great. The views are really nice and the accommodations are wonderful. This was probably the most restful vacation of my life. This is where I want to buy! The beach was perfect, the location is perfect, everything was absolutely perfect.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, pet owners.
