This condo is just as desccribed. Cozy, comfortble, as close to the ocean as possible, beautiful views, well stocked. My husband and I needed a few days to get away. Owner was very helpful and responsive through the reservation process. We definitely plan to rent again. We also had a wonderful dinner at Sears Landing our last evening - recommend it to visitors. Thank you for a great stay.We look forward to our next visit.

My friend and I have spent many vacations at Topsail Beach, and this condo was one of the best places we have ever stayed. Very comfortable, with all of the conveniences of home. We had a great time even though the weather was cool and cloudy. Deb was great - lots of information and a very warm welcome!

Recommended for:Age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Had a wonderful time at Deb's place at Topsail Beach. It was my first time on the island and we loved it. The view from the condo balcony is GORGEOUS !!!!!!!!! Everything you need is there. We brought our own chairs and umbrella but found out she had all that there. Will remember that next time.....and there will be a next time !!!! Sears Landing and Max Pizza were winners for Dinner.

We were fortunate enough to have stumbled on this gem in November 2009. The pictures don't do it justice. This was the first comfortable bed my son had slept in since he returned from Afghanistan and he said it was even better than he'd dreamed. She couldn't have been more accomodating and I know anyone who stays in this condo will likely want to return! Thank you for helping make Daniel's return home to the US a memory of a lifetime for all of us. The size of the condo was more than big enough for my husband, myself, my returning Marine, and his older brother (who was very comfortable on the pull out futon bed). Again, the pictures don't do it justice!

We spent a week at Deb's place and thought we should share our comments with anyone else considering a stay. It is unusual to find a place that lives up to all that it was advertised as but this place was one. We had our three year old and seven month old boys so the little things like the pak & play, high chair, and boxes of toys were perfect. Having beach items to use as well as sheets and towels made packing a little easier on us all. My personal favorite was the small bag of coffee that was left in the cabinet! After arriving late on Saturday we decided to put off the grocery store run until Sunday, so having that cup of coffee started my stay off on a good note. We would recommend Deb's place to anyone thinking of a stay at Topsail.

WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL---Deb's place was just that and more...thoroughly delightful time in october...great place, great location, great bed...felt like we were on a cruise with the water literally out the window...enjoyed sunrises from back and sunsets from front...will definitely come back our next time in NC....

Our visit to Topsail Beach was wonderful. The weather was beautiful and the comfortable cozy place that Deb provides just made it even better! She is really great to work with in renting her place. We loved having access to the pool and hot tub. My 2 1/2 year old enjoyed having lots of books, games and beach toys to play with. It was also very nice to have beach chairs and umbrellas available for us to use. That was one less thing for us to pack and drag with us. The view from the balcony is so relaxing and beautiful. Nothing but positive things to say about it!

This year was the first time we stayed at Deb's place. It was everything we hoped for. The views are gorgeous. The condo is stocked with all kinds of goodies from games, toys, soft towels and linens, kitchen stuff, things for the beach, etc. Even has a cappuccino machine! We enjoyed the restaurant suggestions and menus. Topsail is a great place for everyone to enjoy and relax. Deb is wonderful and so nice to deal with. We will definitely be back.

We stayed at Deb's place this past July. It was wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! The beds were the most comfortable that I have ever slept in at a vacation rental! The condo was so beautifully decorated and well stocked. Coming from Ohio, it was great not to have to haul linens and beach chairs! Deb was so great to deal with. Such a kindred spirit in her love of the beach and especially Topsail Island!

My husband, two children and I stayed at this condo in June of 2007. The condo was immaculate and furnished with all sorts of extras. It was so lovely not to have to worry about linens, kitchen items or even beach gear! Everything was so cozy and homey. It really had a special appeal you just can't get from a hotel or commercial rental. Deb was wonderful to deal with and very considerate. We had a fantastic stay. The only thing negative I could say is that we didn't stay long enough! I would (and have been) recommending this condo to anyone.

Everything about our vacation rental was great! My husband and I stayed at the condo in late September with our two thirtysomething daughters. Arranging the reservation was easy and we got quick and helpful responses from Deb to our questions when we were planning the trip. I felt like I was talking to a friend on email instead of handling a business arrangement! It was so nice, too, to have use of the bed linens, giant towels, well stocked kitchen utensils and the beach chairs and umbrellas and not have to haul so much across the state and back. And I liked staying in a place with live plants and even a fresh flower or two! I can't imagine finding a nicer beach rental. Our family jokingly tried to find something to criticize about the place and the best we could do was to say that the 1000 piece jigsaw puzzles might work for weeklong renters, but since we were there only for a sunny weekend, we needed a 500 piece one instead! Seriously, we appreciated the shelf of books, board games, puzzles, and even videotaped movies that were there for us to use too. We highly recommend this place. You'll feel comfortable and at home!

We spent an enjoyable weekend at Deb's condo in mid October. The beds are incredibly comfortable - not the usual rental-unit rock-hard mattresses - and just perfect for a great night's sleep after an active day. The kitchen is fully equipped. For once, I didn't regret not having brought my own sharp knives from home! We're planning another visit in December, and can't wait.

My husband and 14 year old daughter stayed over the xmas holiday. Really loved the place, you could tell Deb had put alot into decorating the condo. It was very cool--loved the little touches like the frosted glassses in the freezer. Loved Deb's easy going personality--you could tell she loved the condo and dealing with the renters.

My wife and I and our two young kids stayed here back in late May (we were the people for whom the washing machine broke on our last day - glad to hear it got replaced for the next guest). We had a very pleasant stay, and Deb was great to work with in arranging our trip - honest, accomodating, and genuine. It felt more like arranging things with a relative in the extendend family than a commercial transaction. This was our first experience with rental-by-owner rather than an agency, and it was very positive. The views are really nice - being on the second floor, if you look out over the front deck from inside it looks like the water comes right to the railing. And if if you stand at the railing you can see for miles up and down the beach. The level of busyness was just right for us - mornings and afternoons there were a handful of other people on the beach, so we didn't feel isolated, but plenty of space for everyone with no crowding. The wide sandbar produces a tide pool about a foot deep behind it, which is great for younger kids to play in without getting knocked around by larger waves. In the early evening (~6pm) most people went in, and we were the only people on the beach for 1/4 mile in either direction (great time for kites!). It was quiet and clean as well - no beach fires, fireworks, vehicles, etc like you sometimes get on the more northern beaches. If you're looking for a party/nightlife/teen-hangout area, this is not for you. But for us it was perfect. We liked to eat breakfast on the deck looking out at the beach/ocean, then go out to the beach in the morning before it got hot. Then around lunchtime we'd go jump in the pool (a short walk across the road behind the condo), then plop in one of the two hot tubs for few minutes. For restaurants we recommend Sears Landing, and sitting outside next to the marina. Their food quality is a cut above the "pile of fried things" approach that is prevalent in the area.

This location provides a perfect getaway. No high-rise hotels, crowded beaches or glitz to be found here. The condo is wonderful and offers a great "home away from home". It has very comfortable beds and a kitchen filled with everything you might need for preparing meals. This was our first experience with renting a condo for a vacation and we could not have asked for anything more. We had a wonderful time and did not want to leave. This was the best beach vacation we have ever had and we definitely plan to return.

Great views, beautiful oceanfront on one side and sound view on the other. Watch the sun rise from the deck or be lazy and watch it from the comfort of your bed. The place has every thing needed for a wonferful vacation. Their VRBO write-up has no exaggerations. Brad and Deb go out of their way to make the vacation enjoyable. An example, the washer broke and was not repairable the day before we arrived, when we got there a new washer was in place...need I say more. They want your stay to be great. Plan to go back.

What a great visit! The condo is lovely, clean, quiet and very comfortable for 2-6 people. The ocean view and sound-side views are amazing. Beach access is very easy since it's right on the beach! The kitchen is well-equipped with everything we needed for eating in. The new countertops are beautiful! Topsail Beach is relaxing and beautiful, not crowded but still plenty to do. We loved it and will return again!

We really loved it! The view is magnificent, even at night with the lights out, the moon over the ocean is something to see from the living room. We also could see that you've done a lot of work and it will look really great once the new countertop is put in. We really enjoyed it and found it to be sparse enough to add our stuff- yet homey, and simply, tastefully decorated without being so overly "beachy." We aren't coffee drinkers, but the cappaccino machine looks like a great addition. The rest of my family who uses my Mom's house at Emerald Isle live for their coffee so I know that mentioning it in the ads is a great idea. Sets the right tone and makes people realize it isn't going to be a bare bones minimum type of place. We had a great time and would rent it again...loved your cute fishy dishes by the way. --- Martha Adams
