This turned out to be one of our best vacations ever! Panama City Beach is beautiful and there is no shortage of fun things to do for adults and families alike. However, it was the comfort and beauty of this condo that made our stay unforgettable. The beautiful decor, cleanliness, amenities, and attention to detail made all the difference! The furniture and appliances are like new, modern and well kept. The beds were incredibly comfortable (we slept in both the twin room and the master, both were so very comfortable). The cleanliness was unlike any other beach rental we've ever used and it was well stocked with everything you'd expect or need. You can just tell the owners really treat this condo like a beautiful home. And the view, wow, it was simply breathtaking! We loved enjoying the ocean views from both the living space AND the master bedroom. We saw dolphins and stingrays right from our balcony! The building itself offers a lot of perks like a great fitness center with pool and beach views throughout, nice pools and hot tub, all the while overlooking the beach, and we really liked that the parking garage is part of the building, no crossing the street here. Susan and Hoyt truly know how to cater to their guest's needs and we simply loved staying here. Staying in this condo while visiting PCB is something we will plan to do again and again, there is no where else we'd rather stay!

I was looking a few years ago to find a family vacation spot and found a property in Destin...I was really nervous about renting like this online...however I called and spoke to the owner Mrs. Susan and I was immediately reassured that it would all be as described on the vrbo website....and let me say the condo was wonderful. So when I was looking to travel back to Florida I didn't even bother to look around anywhere I just called Susan and enquired about other properties she owned in addition to the Destin property and we decided on this one and immediately booked it for our honeymoon. And it was just as I expected it to be....BEAUTIFUL! Very well decorated and a gorgeous view! It is within a few blocks of pier park which is a really fun place to find lots of great eating and shopping. And also within walking distance of Gulf World which is an excellent place to take kids. I recommend any of the rental property they have! thanks again Mrs. Susan for the excellent experience! We will definitely be renting again!

Great Condo/Great Location!

My family and I spent a great week at this PC Condo! It was decorated wonderfully, and had such a great view of the beach! We stayed here during a baseball tournament at Frank Brown Park. The location is very convenient to the baseball park and so close to Pier Park and all of the wonderful shops and places to eat. Susan was great to work with, and we would love to come back to PC for a visit in the future!

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway.

Owner response: Sunrise is very convenient to all the attractions of Panama City Beach, Fl, and all gulf front complex with two beautiful pools, exercise room and hot tubs, just sit back and relax and enjoy the beautiful Gulf of Mexico.

Vacation nightmare

Would not recommend to anyone, I rented this condo 6/2/2012-6/9/2012. After getting in and looking around we noticed the unit was not clean at all, dirty dishes were in the cabinets, twin bed was awful and sinks in the middle, pull out sofa bed had food in it, tv would not come on, so we checked the batteries and there were none in it, bath tub in master took over an hour to drain, extra bathroom took 15 minutes to drain, the carpet was so dirty it literally left our feet black and stained the bottom of my daughters sandals, we were sent two keys, but only 1 worked . We were given 3 numbers to reach the owners and started calling them at 5:00 pm, I called all 3 numbers and left messages, but didn't get a response. Finally at 10:00 I texted Susan and she finally called. She said she would have someone come back to clean condo, fix the drain and steam clean the carpets. Keep in mind I had already started cleaning on my vacation, because I didn't think she was going to call back. The next day which was Sunday Susan called and said cleaning lady would be there at 11 and someone would come by in 15 minutes to fix drain and give us a temporary key, because the key she sent was bad and could not be rescanned. Our drain did get fixed, but we had to wait on the cleaning lady who did not get there till after 12:00. Susan also said someone would be there Monday to clean the carpet. Well needless to say no one came to clean the carpet. Susan called Tuesday to tell us the carpets couldnt be cleaned till next week, but thanks for reporting the problem. What was supposed to be a stress free vacation turned out to be a nightmare. After getting home I sent Susan the keys back and told her I feel we deserve some of our money back for all the crap we were put through, we at least deserved the cleaning fee back. But to no surprise we only got our security deposit back not even I'm sorry for the trouble you had. Save yourself a lot of stress and stay at grand view east where this would never happen, we stayed there last year and was much happier we just didn't need all that extra room we had there.

Owner response: I felt like I did everything possible to cater to this renter. I was out of town at a wedding and had my phone on silent. I called the renter as soon as I got the message and worked through the complaints. Magnetic keys are always a problem with renters and their cell phones. The security guard made them an extra one. I understand the housekeeper fired her helper that was supposed to clean the unit. I spent days trying to get someone to clean the carpets and yes they have been cleaned and I do have new mattress in my twins as of last week. My carpet cleaner said the renters were over exaggerating the carpet. He says it is a tactic for the owners to give some of their money back. I did send their deposit back and when I received a letter from the renter I returned the cleaning fee and a free night. I have heard from several owners on the beach in the last few days and they say that the same thing is happening to them. I am sorry that the renter feels like that. I have a great unit, gorgeous view and nice furnishings. I have been in business for 25 years. I guess this response was written before they received my check. My view on the 23rd floor is breathtaking.

A group of girlfriends and I recently stayed at this condo for a relaxing weekend getaway. The condo was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms are spacious and the kitchen is amazing! My favorite part, though, was the balcony... talk about an ocean view! I would definitely recommend this condo to friends and family. Can't wait to visit again!

We very much enjoyed our stay at this condo. The unit was nicely furnished and very clean. We cooked half of our meals during our vacation and had everything we needed to do so. We had 4 adults and 3 small children staying and had plenty if room. Overall the condo well exceeded our expectations and the view was amazing as well, not to leave out the great location. I will definitely plan to stay here on our next trip down!

We really enjoyed our vacation to this condo. It was a very beautifully decorated unit. The weather and the beach could not have been better. Susan was extremely helpful. She went out of her way to answer my questions and make our visit comfortable and worry free. We go to Panama City every year but have never stayed at Sunrise Beach before. We will definitetly stay in this condo and this unit in the future. Thanks for a wonderful trip.

Amazing view from the 23rd floor. The bedroom and den both open out to a deck overlooking the gulf. We enjoyed the sunsets and the local Pier Park for shopping and great food. Easy transition with Hoyt and Susan on keys and passes. I will be returning to Sunrise for our next vacation.

My family and I stayed at this condo the last part of July 2011 and were very disappointed. It was not cleaned very well at all and had appliances that didn't work properly and broken furniture. The resort itself is nice and the view was amazing, the problem was the condo itself is just not very well maintained.

This condo was fabulous! Was everything the Stovall's described. We brought two small children and had plenty of room. We cooked most nights and had everything we needed. Will definitely stay here again. Some other family members stayed at the Majestic Towers and the spring breaker's were everywhere, our complex was quiet and very family oriented. We didn't have to worry about a thing. We were initially worried about the elevators taking a long time with our children in tow, but they were extremely fast. Thanks Hoyt and Susan!

Our family had a wonderful vacation at this condo. It has a beautiful view and is very good furnished. We felt as at home. It has everything you need for cooking and relaxing. It is Close to a Pier Park. Good place to stay.

Wow, did we love this place!! It was all it said it was and more. The decor was so fun and everything was very comfortable and clean. Also easy parking, fast elevators and a beautiful view. A lot of little extras. Thanks Hoyt and Susan for taking such good care of us.

This condo is so nice and has a great view. The decorations and furniture were very nice and luxurious, as if it were home. We were very pleased with our stay and plan on booking again in the future. Susan was VERY helpful with us--especially on short notice. We had a great trip and can't wait to go back again! Thanks!!

We stayed here during spring break 07 and had a great time. The unit is spotless, very upscale with everything you need at your fingertips. The decor is modern and beautiful and it is very reasonably priced - I will definitely stay here again in the future ! If you are considering this unit you have nothing to worry about - Go for it !

Just wanted to comment that this condo has the greatest view I've ever seen in Panama City. The condo was so clean and I felt at home. The Stovall's have out done themselves in the decorative field. I will only stay here in the near future. Thank you Susan and Hoyt for everything

Can't say enough about this Sunrise Beach Condo. The view is awesome and the condo is so beautifully decorated and furnished with everything you need to feel right at home. We enjoyed the pools and hot tubs. Can't wait to bring my grandson down for the mushroom fountain. Thanks to the Stovalls for a wonderful vacation.

We really enjoyed our stay at this Sunrise Beach condo. It is beautifully decorated and has all of the comforts of home. We spent a lot of time on the balcony enjoying the awesome view. The Stovall's corresponded with us via e-mail and telephone. They were very helpful in answering all of our questions. They made the process of making reservations and recieving the keys very easy. Upon arrival, we really liked having the key to the condo in our possession. After a long day of travel we could go directly to the condo. We did not have to stand in line to check in. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon!

Welcome to Sunrise Beach, a beautiful new complex, centrally located in the heart of Panama City Beach. Beautiful sunsets, and emerald green waters. The view from the 23rd floor has to be the best on the beach. Panama City is on a building explosion. Many new and excting places to eat and see. "The Salt Water Grill", "The Bonefish Grill" (one of my favorites) I love the Seabass, for a couple of dollars you can add a specialty topping, try the Reah) Ruth's Chris Steak House and now Starbucks located about 1/4 mile from us at Pier Park. For a great lunch menu, Monetgo Bay on Thomas is a favorite even for the locals. Great prices for lunch.I love the baked Grouper/and a large slice of grilled pineapple.Of course, Captain Anderson, a timeless tradition. Gulf World is 1/2 mile and a great place for kids and adults. Enjoy your stay, and don't forget to sign our guest book.
