We LOVED this house! My husband and our 9 month old baby boy spent a week at this lovely home and really enjoyed it! It was so nice to be just steps to the world famous Sunset Beach (literally!) and have home so close by! My husband had the choice of numerous phenemonal surf breaks. It is beautifully remodeled and has a great large front lanai which is perfect for relaxing and watching all the beach-goers walk by! We plan to revisit again and again!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.
Owner response: We are so happy that you loved our home. It is our pleasure that we are able to share with others the wonderful things about it! Like you, we enjoy having "home" so close to the beach. We will be thrilled to have you come and visit us again and again!

This rental is wonderful. A nice yard in the back to set up a tent and a great area to barbeque. It is off the main road, very quiet and just a two minute walk to the beach. A outdoor shower with hot water made it easy for the kids to go back and forth to the beach without going inside everytime back. It was maintained very well and is near to Teds Bakery. There is also a Foodland Store near by. Recommended to allRecommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.
Owner response: While we encourage our guests to make this their home away from home we have decided that we cannot allow tents to be put up in the yard. This home is meant to be used by families with a limit of six people. The tents leave the grass weak & brown. It also is a problem for our wonderful neighbors. The main park/beach is about a two minute walk. However, the right-of-way directly in front of our home takes you to Mothers' Beach in less than 100 steps!

Very comfortable recently remodeled home, everything felt new and clean! Both bedrooms are equal in size and comfort. The outdoor shower is an added bonus for when more than one person needs to clean up. Great location, walk right out of the house to a beach access. You are then greeted with a shaded picnic table right at the end of the access, perfect if you want to bring your lunch or dinner there and hang out at the beach. the owner is super nice and helpful, I forgot my daughter's Birthday present there. I contacted her and she immediately had the cleaning lady find it, save it and she mailed it back to me within the week.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.
Owner response: Taking pride in our home is our way of showing aloha (love) for it and for the people who stay there. Keeping it meticulously clean & picture ready is respectful to our home and to the vacationers who love Hawaii & its beauty as we do. We are here to share our aloha & strive to treat our guests as we like to be treated. Our state seal has on it the motto of our land. We do our best to live it! Stayed there this Fourth of July weekend and had a great time. This beach house is so comfortable and relaxing. The area is safe and the people around the neighborhood is friendly. The remodeled home is well done and all amenities are thought of. I like to two large verandas which provided and cool breeze. The world famous Sunset Beach is only a 30 second walk away. We had a large crew staying there so the one bathroom did need to be timed well but the outside shower came in handy. I would highly recommend anyone staying here.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

We were delighted by the location of this great plantation era home! We enjoyed being steps away from the beach and took leisurely strolls in the morning and early evenings. We were fortunate to see a Hawaiian monk seal sunbathing during one of our morning strolls. The home is extremely clean and everything we needed to make our island get-away hassle free was availalbe for our use. Leaving this little oasis at the end of our stay was not easy....We will definitely return and look forward to sipping Pina Coladas on the front porch again in the near future!
