Hacienda Kass was a truly amazing place - the perfect vacation villa for my family. Gorgeous house, grounds and beach. Beautifully appointed and lushly landscaped. Remote enough to feel totally private, but convenient to access. Impeccably clean and maintained. The staff was attentive and cooked delicious mess, accommodating all of our different requests and needs. It's actually even more beautiful than the pictures. We will certainly return and will recommend it highly to anyone who asks.Recommended for: Families with young children

The house was better than the photos shown in the description. It was over the top and excellent in every way. The staff was kind and very helpful. We enjoyed the house, beach, pool with adults only. Would not recommend the house for people with young children. Very secluded and a tropical paradise. The only downside was the lack of hot water in the showers. It was somewhat difficult to get to from the airport-- longer than expected. Your own car is a must to see the town of Tulum. Loved our nights in with the chefs cooking but must visit Zuma for a dinner on the beach--- Oceanside and romantic. We loved our experience.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Visited Hacienda Kass in October and it could not be a more perfect time to go. The house is beautiful and the views are just stunning. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sun or to partake in the outside activities like kayaking and snorkeling. You really feel like you're in the middle of paradise at your own private resort. What more can you say about Hacienda Kass! Perfect location, incredible amenities, and a dedicated staff. My only complaint is that I can not get back there soon enough! Hacienda Kass is absolutely gorgeous, and so luxurious. You really can't help but relax when you are there! It is a true getaway - it is private and secluded, but also only a short drive from Tulum. The house is big enough to comfortably fit a large group, whether you are with family or friends, and it is decorated beautifully. Just being in the house is an experience in itself! My only problem was trying to figure out where I was going to relax - by the pool, on the beach, in one of the hammocks, or on the amazing rooftop! The views from the roof are seriously amazing, and at night you can get a view of the stars like you have never seen them before! The bay is great for kayaking and snorkeling - I am not much of a swimmer, but went snorkeling here for the first time and even though I stayed close to the shore, I still saw so many neat fish. I am already trying to figure out when I can go back next!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The best word to describe Hacienda Kass is RELAXING. Ever come home from vacation feeling worn out? Not at Hacienda Kass. The atmosphere and beauty of Hacienda Kass make you want to just soak it all in and never leave. The property transitions from a luxurious house with an amazing rooftop balcony (where we had the best drinks) to an open veranda with a beautiful pool. Walk a little further and you are under a grove of palm trees equipped with hammocks and beach chairs. It gives you the deserted island feeling. Proceed on and you hit the beach with crystal clear water. There are kayaks available to paddle around in or to transport you out to some great snorkeling spots. The Hacienda Kass staff makes you feel like you are right at home, without having to do any of the work yourself of course. You don’t feel pressure to do anything. They are so helpful and made the vacation that much better. The chef service was remarkable, like eating at a five star restaurant. It was a highlight of the trip. Not one detail is missing! If you do feel like going out, there is a great hotel within walking distance with an amazing bar/lounge. There are also some of the "adventure" parks near by such as XPLOR or XCARET for day trips for those who like a little more action. You are away from the hustle and bustle of typical all inclusive beach vacations. We can’t wait to come back TO THIS PERFECT VACATION SPOT.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

You can't go wrong staying at Hacienda Kass on Soliman Bay near Tulum, MX. From the time of check-in through the end of our week we were very well taken care of by Luis, the house manager. The house is very well maintained and the decor and furniture perfectly fit the hacienda style home. The home is very big. We had five couples staying for the week and never felt like we were on top of each other. The food was out of this world. We had Fernando, Pedro, and Maria prepare breakfast and dinner for us almost every day we were there. Everything was made from scratch and many of us thought it was the best Mexican food we've ever had. Maria is very gifted at making pico and guacamole. Our favorite dinners were the bacon wrapped shrimp, fish (grouper) and beef tacos. My brother-in-law loved the chili rellenos. The beach in front of the home has plenty of room for 10 to 12 people to soak up the sun comfortably. The pool is large and clean and has a great waterfall feature. The home sits on a natural bay which collects some floating trash that sometimes interferes with your swimming. This isn't a fault of the homeowner, but simply a symptom of its location. Don't expect to swim right off the beach. The seagrass is fairly heavy throughout the bay, but once you get past it (30 - 50 ft.) you can swim for days. Many of us spent several hours each day snorkeling the coral reef which runs the length of the bay about 250 - 300 yards off the beach. You can choose to swim out or take the home owned kayaks and tie them to the anchored buoys near the reef. The colorful fish and coral outcroppings are plentiful. The home is about an hour and 15 minutes from Cancun International Airport. We chose to hire a private shuttle (Cancun Shuttle) to take all ten of us from the airport to Hacienda Kass. This really only works if all couples arrive around the same time. We then rented two cars (Tulum Car Rental) for five days which provided flexibility for the five couples. Tulum is about 15 minutes south of the home and is a fairly easy drive. Watch out for the Mexican federales and inconspicuous speed bumps along the way. Playa del Carmen is about 45 - 50 minutes north of the home. Both Tulum and Playa del Carmen are great for shopping and eating. Make sure to eat at The Blue Lobster in Playa. You won't regret it. Playa is a little more touristy, but in my opinion a little more fun for families and younger couples. This is truly and incredible villa that provided me and my family/guests the most memorable vacation of our lives! The palacial descriptions are accurate, the house itself is immaculately clean, and the beachfront location is unbeatable. The amenities of the villa itself are great - we loved the kayaks and snorkeling, and the kids loved every minute of it. We also took several day trips to eco-Parks and ruins, which was perfectly afforded by the house's convinient location. We also had several meals provided by the Chef service, which was amazing - I cannot recommend it or this home enough. This was a beautiful and luxurious oceanfront home. We loved snorkeling and kayaking in the bay that is only a few steps away. The pool was also great for the younger children. Our favorite part of the house was the rooftop which provided a breathtaking view of the bay, espeically at sunset. We loved exploring the nearby town of Tulum and trying the different resturants. The staff was great and made sure our stay at Hacienda Kass was perfect. We had such a great vacation at Hacienda Kass. The house was absolutly beautiful and luxurious. It is right on the bay so everyday we walked out and went kayaking and snorkeling. It also has a pool which we enjoyed as well. Our favorite part of the house was the rooftop which provided a beautiful view of the bay, especially when the sun is setting. We also loved exploring the nearby town of Tulum and trying the different resturants for dinner. The staff was great and they made sure that our time at Hacienda Kass was perfect. This was by far the most beautiful home on the bay. It is very spacious and was elagently decorated. My family and I loved having a private beach that was only a few steps away. We had a blast kayaking and snorkeling the many reefs that are in the bay. The bedrooms were large and they each offer a beautiful view of the ocean. We also loved going up on the rooftop in the evenings to watch the sunset over the bay. The nearest town, Tulum, is only about 15 minutes away and our family had a wonderful time exploring and eating at the delicious resturants. The staff at the house were so kind and happy to help with anything we needed. We loved our vacation at Hacienda Kass and will definitely be coming back soon!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
