Our salt-treated pool and spa is a natural alternative to "pool chlorine" chemicals. It offers our guests the luxury and the natural healthy benefits of swimming in crystal clear, mild salt water (only half as salty as your own tear drops). No more red eyes, green hair or irritated eyes or skin. It is environmentally positive and ecologically sound - most or all of the regular chemicals dumped into pools eventually end up polluting our environment in one way or another. This system uses only pure, natural salt - and recycles that salt continuously.

"Sandpipers" is set in one of the best positions at Weston Hills, a small, exclusive, gated community located on US27 just 3 miles north of its junction with the 192. As you drive through the electric gates you will notice how beautifully kept everything is, with a tree-lined avenue & well maintained flower borders. Weston Hills is very quiet with a high proportion of residential, rather than solely vacation homes. It has a very active Home Owners Association to ensure the community always looks its best.
Disney World is around 15 minutes away, using a useful short-cut we will tell you about to avoid the queues along HW192. Shops (inc. a Wal-Mart Superstore), restaurants, gas station & pharmacy are all within a few minutes drive, as of course are many Golf Courses. Universal Studios, Sea World & Aquatica may be reached in about 30 minutes, depending on the traffic. Weston Hills is just a few miles from Lake Louisa State Park, with its own beach, nature trails & fishing.

- Private Pool : The extra-large 30 x 15ft pool has a special salt treatment feature to avoid the sometimes unpleasant effects of chlorination. It is heated by electric heat pump, optional May-September. The secluded pool has a stunning location. It is south facing, and is very private as it has tropical planting to screen it, and no rear neighbours. The villa also has the benefit of above-average size grounds separating it from the two adjacent homes. The pool can be illuminated at night, and special garden lighting adds to the ambience and pleasure of being outside in the warm Floridian evenings.

Why the Owner Chose Weston Hills
Weston Hills, where our villa "Sandpipers" is located, is a great place to stay, if you want to be close to the 'action' but, as we do, enjoy retreating to a peaceful retreat to relax and re-charge for the next busy day. Weston Hills is a quiet, gated community 3 miles north of the busy HW 192, and is within 2-3 minutes drive of several supermarkets, restaurants, pharmacies, garages, banks etc. Yet because the Weston Hills is primarily a residential, rather than a vacation community, as soon as you drive through the main gates you feel a million miles away from all the hustle and bustle. We also like the fact that Weston Hills is a deed restricted community with a very active Homeowners Association, which ensures that the public areas are kept immaculate and the homes have to comply with strict guidelines regarding appearance, car parking etc.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The main plus point for us of "Sandpipers" is its wonderfully peaceful location - it is set right at the edge of the community, with no houses to obstruct the far-reaching views from the pool deck over the miles of conservation wetlands. You will very likely see the hot air balloons drifting over early in the morning, and see and hear a variety of bird and wildlife.
We love getting up early some mornings and having a coffee out on the pool deck and watching the mist slowly evaporate over the wetlands, and listening to the birdsong - or the rather more raucous calls of the local sandhill cranes. We are lucky with the orientation of "Sandpipers", because the extended pool deck area faces both south and west, so even from very early in the morning, we normally find at least one part of the deck is already in the sun. And of course, given the right weather conditions, we often can watch spectacular sunsets in the west, accompanied by a very vocal 'frog chorus'.
We also enjoy the huge amount of space in our villa! This is a special treat for us, as our tiny English cottage home would fit probably 2-3 times within the 3000sq ft space that "Sandpipers" offers.
And we like the fact that the Weston Hills community offers several facilities which we and our guests can use free of charge, including a childrens' pool and play area, large community pool, tennis courts and basketball courts.

Hi, we are Iain and Amanda Burrup. We live in the beautiful Cotswolds area of the United Kingdom, and have owned "Sandpipers", our dream Florida vacation home since 2006. We visit at least 3 times a year, to get our sunshine fix and for Iain to play a little golf. We have 4 grand-daughters, who can't wait visit the Disney parks and the other great child-friendly attractions of the area! Regular visiting also gives us an opportunity to ensure that our home is being maintained and cared for properly by our management company. Each time we go, we always find ourselves shopping for little extras that we feel will enhance our guests' experience. Your villa was fabulous! We really didn't want to leave! I have already passed your villa details onto a friend of my mums who is planning to go to Florida next year. We would also love to return at some point! A big bonus was the hot tub! Brilliant after a long day walking around the parks. I want one at home now! Haha. Thanks for letting us stay at sandpipers! We were very, very impressed with the villa and pool. By far the best one I have stayed in on any holiday. The bedrooms were all excellent sizes and beautifully decorated. Everything was very clean and in excellent condition and anything we wanted was there.....we had a fantastic holiday and would all have loved to have stayed there for at least another week.

We returned from Orlando last weekend and I wanted to let you know what a great time we had at Sandpipers. Everything was great, the pool, spa, lanai, all fab.The community was very quiet, as you say, it has a lot of residential property so made for a very peaceful setting. Thanksgiving occurred whilst we were there, so we did get to see some of the more eccentric residents ideas of decorating the outside of their houses, I imagine it gets more elaborate in December! The outlook of the villa was just right, plenty of wildlife and very private. I loved your large TV, thankfully for you our suitcases were full from our shopping expeditions and I couldn’t fit it in my case asell…although I suspect my wife would have questioned the weight of my bag.We had such a wonderful time and we will definitely be coming back. My brother and his family are considering Florida next year, so I have passed on all the details of Sandpipers and told them all about it, so hopefully he will book something up with you for next year also. I will have to make sure he doesn’t want the same time as us, as there may be a family feud. Thank you again for letting us rent your lovely house. RegardsPaul Dobson
