Beautiful Key West Visit

The beautiful 2BDRM condo was everything that was advertised and more. Steps to the beach, overlooking the pool, a quick stroll to Mallory Square, I could not have asked for more. We rented bikes for the week on a recommendation from our host "Shel" which proved a great way to get around town! We visited the Dry Tortugas National Park one day, as well as taking a 2 hour kayak tour with Lazy Dog outfitters, and both added to a fun week of sunshine. We have visited Key West before, in various stages of our lives, and have stayed at all sorts of interesting places.This home is luxurious, covenient and an easy turnkey vacation spot.

We have done many vacations over many years but this one tops the list! Location, location, location was absolutely perfect. The dazzling view was breathtaking! The condo was beautifully decorated with comfortable, lovely furniture and everything we needed for our wonderful week was right there. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool area every day (we were lucky the weather even cooperated) The service by Shel Segel was above and beyond the call of duty. Our only problem was figuring out the technological workings of the remote control for the living room TV. We called Shel to "talk us through it" and he was there in 10 minutes. We couldn't talk him out of coming! He was there to greet us as our taxi pulled into the parking lot and helped us out with our bags upon our sad departure. When we mentioned that a deck door was jammed, he had someone there to fix it in a flash. He gets as many stars as a property manager can earn, 10, 12 whatever. We certainly have no complaints about this perfect vacation spot! God willing, we will return! Carol O'Lery

Perfect location and amenities. This unit had spectacular sunsets everyday and I would definitely lease this unit again. This unit has great views from all rooms and was very quiet and clean. The rental agent could not be more accommodating and helpful. After this year, I will not stay anywhere else.

Fabulous Location, Accomodations and Service

We just spent a week at Gulfside Vistas and it was beyond perfect. We stayed at this condo last summer for a week, so this was our second trip. The condo is immaculate, the location fantastic (just a few blocks to the Green Parrot, Hog's Breath, Santiago's Bodega and many other fantastic restaurants and live music venues). The views from the condo are some of the best on the island, and provide a perfect perch to take in the breathtaking sunsets each night. The condo is also very close to Mallory Square, in fact you can walk out the gate by the pool and be at Mallory Square in about a minute. Truman Annex is a lovely neighborhood, and we felt safe walking around at any and all hours. The owners of the condo were in town and were very gracious and charming and even took us out on a memorable sunset boat ride. Shel, the property manager, is nothing short of delightful and went out of his way to be helpful. I could not recommend this condo more - it really has everything and it helped us have a truly lovely stay in Key West.

Amazing View

I would definitely stay here again! We rented the condo for the week of the World Championship Offshore races and had the most amazing view of the course. On top of that, we had a beautiful sunset every night. The condo itself was comfortable, clean, roomy and fully stocked with everything we needed. The staff at Last Key Realty were so helpful. When the internet went down it ended up being the router, but within 24 hours it was replaced and they bought us breakfast for our trouble. They worked around our arrival and departure times and assisted us with anything else we needed. I felt like we were well taken care of.

Amazing Stay

The condo was fantastic. Our visit started with Shel, our property manager. He went above and beyond to welcome us and get us situated. As is the Key West style, Shel and the staff at Last Key Realty were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The condo has fantastic views of Mallory Square and the ocean. The sunsets are breathtaking. After looking at the layout of the building, I believe this unit has the best views of all of them. It's situated on the third floor and juts out beyond the others providing a better that 180 degree view. While we were there a thunderstorm rolled trough one morning and gave us a front row seat to nature's light show before clearing out to reveal the breathtaking tropical sky. If you are a family traveling with kids or a group of friends, this unit is perfect. It is centrally located in Truman Annex, It's safe, secure, clean and being walking distance from Duval Street and most other Key West attractions makes it the perfect spot. My sincere thanks again to Shel and Last Key Realty for making our stay a pleasure. We'll definitely be back soon!

We were very pleased with our Gulfside Condo. We were warmly welcomed by Shel, our customer service manager, who was very attentive to our every need. He oriented us thoroughly to the condo, and gave us detailed information about the area, and the many interesting points if interest, and restaurants in Key West. The condo looked just like the pictures on-line, and was very clean and comfortable. We loved the balcony and watching the sunset each evening. The ice maker in the refrigerator was broken, and Shel arranged to have a new one installed. In the meantime, he brought ice for us. We found the restaurants excellent, and the seafood really terrific. We used the pool several times, and found it clean and inviting. We took a train ride from Mallory Square around the city, and were able to hear about the history of Key West, and saw many of the famous historical homes and other points of interest on the island. It was very educational and fun. One suggestion I would make about the condo would be to provide protective mats for the tub and shower, as they are very slippery, and there are no handrails. However, It amazed me how well furnished the condo was, with everything we needed, down to the laundry soap. It was very convenient. We would highly recommend it to others. We had a great time.

Gufside Vistas

This apartment, in particular the living room, affords sweeping views of the gulf and of the busy activity of boats, small and large, going on just below the windows. The good daytime weather and the formation of large cumulus in the afternoons and evenings provided elaborately colourful sunsets. For us the view is clearly the best feature of the place, definitely not captured by the photos in the ad, moreover the neighborhood besides being historically interesting is quite beautiful. It should be noted that the apartment is very well appointed, perfectly clean and very spacious for a party of four. The kitchen is well equipped, more so than expected for vacation rentals. The pool is very pleasant and, in early August, was not crowded (except for the guest iguana driving the pool attendant crazy). The building provides covered parking and is centrally located so that driving is unnecessary We recommend this place to anyone and we would certainly rent it again. The manager, Mr. Segel, went well beyond his duties in providing prompt, professional and friendly assistance in more than one occasion.

Gulfside Vistas is a beautiful condo. The views are fantastic...even better than the the photos. We enjoyed watching the huge cruise ships arrive and depart. The master bedroom is large and has a beautiful view of the ocean. Although small, the spare bedroom is nice as well. The living area is quite large and has a nice flat screen display and a really nice stereo. The swimming pool is very nice and clean with great views of the ocean. The property is close to everything. We will definitely be back in the future.

This property was beautifully furnished, very clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed the spectacular ocean views and the flat screen TV's in the bedrooms and living room. The location is wonderful- close to Mallory Square which is great for souvenir shopping and restaurants. It was also close to Fort Zachary Taylor State Park where we enjoyed the scenic beach and saw lots of tropical fish as we snorkeled around the rocks. Shel, our guest services manager, was very welcoming and helpful. He went out of his way to meet us for a very late check-in after our unexpected long day traveling. Shel made us feel right at home by going over the amenities in our condo, answering all our questions, and giving us good advice to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We would choose this property again and recommend it to friends and family. It was wonderful.

Unsurpassed sunset views!

Upon our arrival at the property, we were greeted by the manager Shel who turned out to be a gem throughout our stay. We did find the condo in a bit of disarray, however, Shel did his absolute best and tended/fixed the problems in a timely manner. The ice maker in the refrigerator was never repaired. The condo is quite spacious with two lovely balconies to view the spectacular sunsets. There were four of us staying in the unit. The master suite offered plenty of space and storage. The second bedroom is most definitely NOT spacious. It has two twin beds with only one nightstand for storage. The two closets were quite full with spare linens and bedding so...little storage. I did purchase hangars at the store to use as none were provided in the closets. All in all, we had a great time in Key West, loved working with Shel...however, in the future, we will more carefully choose another condo that will suit our family's needs!

Best View in Key West

The views from this Condo are truly the best on the island. I have stayed in several different units on boths sides of Key West and this condo with its 2 balconies offers nearly non-stop entertainment. It has a perfect view of Key West's famous sunsets. Watching cruise boats and cruise boat passengers can be quite enjoyable as well. The condo itself had a number of issues but SHEL SEGAL, our contact with this unit, rose to the occasion each time! I cannot say enough about the service he provided. I will absolutely stay in this condo the next time I come to Key West. I believe that it is when things don't go perfectly that true customer service has the opportunity to be experienced. Shel did everything in his power to resolve each concern. Last Key Reality should be very proud of him. He IS the reason I would stay in one of their units again. The furniture and TVs were great. The beds were very comfortable. The guest bedroom is a little small, but the master bedroom is awesome. Never could figure out how to get the CD player to work and the ice maker was broken. (Shel brought us ice!) The location in Truman Annex is also great for restaurants, night life, fishing and it is a short walk to the beach at Fort Zac. We loved Key West and Gulfside Vistas!

This was a very nice condo. Everything you see in the pictures is what you see there. The people at last key realty were very nice to deal with and very helpful when we arrived. We did have a few minor issues with the appliances ( we understand the replacement fridge was ordered but had not arrived) within an hour we were greeted with a large bag of ice and a bottle of wine and a key lime pie for our inconvenience. I appreciated that last key took ownership for any inconvenience we had and made them right as best they could. This is a great location to everything good in key west and you can't beat the view. N Owens

We stayed in this wonderful unit for a week with our two year old son. It was perfect! The unit is clean, spacious & nicely furnished & in a fantastic location! The views were simply wonderful! It rained most of the week we were there, but with the views & ability to watch the cruise ships coming & going while sitting on the couch, made it hard to complain! One thing to be aware of is that the condo complex does not allow "individuals with diapers" in the pool---this made for interesting discussions poolside with the other tenants. No one in the pool cared if my two year son wanted to swim with a swimmy diaper on, so it was a relief for us, because the pool was a key part of our decision to stay there. Upon our early arrival into Key West on Saturday, Shel arranged access to a quiet house for us so my son could take a nap while the unit was being cleaned & prepped for our check in. It was such a wonderful way to start our visit. Shel is a gem & someone Last Key Realty should be incredibly grateful to have! He certainly "did us right" and ensured we were taken care of.

The Best and Only Place to Stay in Key West!

We've been going to Key West for more than 25 years and have stayed in motels, hotels, condos, and houses. This is by far the best place we have ever stayed. You have unobstructed views of the ocean from almost every room in the condo. Both balconies are shaded in the morning; the larger balcony is shaded in the afternoon. There is plenty of seating, inside and out. The balconies look onto the Outer Mole and Pier B where cruise ships and sailboats come and go. At night, there are no cruise ships in port and all you see are buoy lights and stars. Since the condo is at the edge of Truman Annex, there is no stray light or noise from Duval or downtown, but you can walk to Duval in 7 minutes. The Guest Services Manager (Shel) met us at the condo to check us in and offered to help carry in the bags (which we accepted). When one of us had a mild health issue, Shel referred us to the right doctor in Key West. He came back to the condo upon our departure to thank us and see if we needed anything as we left. He was kind and invaluable. The property is clean and well maintained. Everything works. Because of a mild health issue, we ate at home every night (go visit Eaton Street Seafood Market). The kitchen was stocked with all the cookware and utensils we needed. They promote recycling and make it easy to cooperate. Since it is a top floor unit, there is no noise from above. We met the neighbors on both sides and they were friendly and pleasant. The pool is warm, clean, and quiet. Egrets and an iguana were frequent visitors to the grounds around the pool. The grounds are well kept (as is always the case in Truman Annex). There are secure bike racks on the garage level and Eaton Street Bikes will deliver your "ride" for free (along with a helmet and lock).

Gulfside Vistas was fantastic!! The views were even better in than in the photo. We watched the sunset right from the living room and 2 balconies. The condo was very spacious and clean. The decor was beautiful. Fantastic kitchen for those who like to cook, we took advantage of the convenient location to area restaurants. Walking distance to all local area dining, entertainment, activities and shopping. Mallory Square is just outside the gate to the complex. The community was quiet, yet just 2 blocks from Duval Street. We plan on coming back next year!
