Enjoy the crystal clear waters of this spring-fed lake nestled in a very rural setting just two hours from Jacksonville. Cherry Lake is ideal for swimming, skiing, tubing, jet skis, and fishing. Large mouth bass and fresh water trout are plentiful in Cherry Lake.
The lake is ideal for water sports as well. It is approximately a mile in diameter, almost a perfect circle in shape with a total of about 500 acres. This home has its own private dock. There are two bedrooms with a king-size bed in each. The third bedroom has two queen beds and the fourth bedroom has two double beds. There is an additional room with two twins and a small room with one twin. In the evening enjoy a marshmallow roast or a campfire sing-along in the outdoor campfire area.
If theme park fun is what you are looking for, Wild Adventures is just 20 minutes away. This has got to be North Florida and South Georgia's best-kept secret. No long lines and something to do for the entire family, at a great value. With a variety of roller-coasters, shows and wildlife.

I grew up spending summers at the lake with my family. These were priceless memories that I wanted our children to have.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Cherry Lake is a beautiful, spring fed lake. I like the fact that the water is clean and clear. Our children have learned to knee board, wake board and wake skate on the lake. Of course, tubing is an all time favorite for them as well as all their friends who come to visit.

Wow!! Where do I start?? Several months ago, several members of my family spoke of renewing an activity that we done many years ago, a FAMILY VACATION. I personally volunteered to "find" the location. We knew that we didn't want to spend hours on the road so I tried to keep it within 3 hours or less from Jacksonville, FL since that's "home" to most of our family. So, after hours on the internet, I found the "Country Charmer" at Cherry Lake. It had plenty of bedrooms and baths to accomodate a large group of people, waterfront, and a lake that would pleasure our love of the water. The home FAR exceeded our expectations. The pics do not do it justice!! The home was clean and well furnished with all the likes of any home. All rules, and instructions were clear and well documented. There were NO hiccups of any kind during our week long stay. (Well, if anyone is thinking that this place is too good to be true....i will notate one "negative", there were several interior and exterior bulbs blown). Other than that, this beautiful home was a large part of us creating MEMORIES lasting for a lifetime and we can't think the Radloff family enough for all the accomodations. Oh yeah.....the tree "swing" kept the kids and many adults laughing.

I stayed here last summer with my family and I have never enjoyed a vacation so much! To start, the home is absolutely beautiful. With a porch that wraps all the way around, a dining room table big enough to feed all of us at one time, hardwood floors, a multitude of beds to choose from, an amazing view with a swing and a hammock in the back yard, there was nothing else we needed! Being right on the lake allowed us to enjoy tubing and wake-boarding and fishing every single day. When it would rain we all would sit on the back porch in the rocking chairs playing checkers. Thank you for sharing your home with us!This Beautiful home made it an ideal southern summer.

Thank you for the use of your beautiful homes on Cherry Lake. My family had a wonderful time of laughter, sharing, and fun. This was particularly meaningful for us as a family, as my father recently completed his final chemotherapy treatments for terminal prostate cancer. Each gathering could very well be our final one -- so thank you for your part in making the time so special. We got out on the Kayak several times, enjoyed the sunset each evening from the dock, and had a great time cuddling under the stars around the campfire on the cool Saturday evening. I don’t know how many hours my mom spent sitting out on the deck or the back porch. My wife took a long afternoon nap on the hammock while I took a relaxing run around the lake. The grandchildren took over the log cabin , watching movies, playing games, doing homework, or coming to the white house to compete in a hard fought foosball tournament. The games of pool with my dad will remain special memories. Of course, it was a great weekend for watching football, so we enjoyed the TV sets too! The pictures of the place do not do it justice – I lost count of the number of times family members came to me to say “Wow Joe – you really picked a great place.” I must confess, I was prepared to be somewhat disappointed when I arrived, for I know from experience how booking “sight unseen” through the internet can backfire significantly. Imagine my extreme pleasure and delight to find out just how wrong I was to be worried! As followers of Christ, we also appreciated the patriotism and the evidence of faith within your family as well. Thank you for not hiding that. Again – thank you so much for allowing us the opportunity to enjoy your property. Have a blessed Christmas season with your family. Joe
