This is a very comfortable and charming villa, 50 metres from one of the most beautiful beaches on the French Riviera. It is a perfect villa for business colleagues attending one of the fairs or exhibitions at the Festival Hall as it offers comfort, space and privacy. It is a ten minute walk to the Festival Hall along the beachfront. It is the perfect way to start or end a working day.

Whether you are attending one of the exhibitions or visiting on vacation, you will feel that you are in the real France and in an oasis of calm. All of your neighbours are French.
It is a great vacation home. It is perfect for a large family or two families staying together. There are two bedrooms ensuite and a further two twin bedrooms. There is a sofa bed in the living room and there is also a cot and a bed for a small child. It is near enough to the beach to go back and forth during the day . There are beach chairs and an umbrella. It is totally feasible to stay here and not hire a car. There is a bus service into the centre of Cannes every ten minutes from outside the house and back. This is great for going to the market or shopping. The bus takes three to four minutes or you can walk in ten minutes. We can arrange airport pick up for you at a minimal charge. There is also a very good train service if you want to visit other great places along the coast.
The villa is elegantly furnished and has a feeling of comfort and style and is very suitable for a large group of people, staying together but is also perfect for a couple. The entrance hall, the living room, the dining room, the master bedroom, the kitchen, the laundry and a separate guest toilet are on the ground floor.
The lighting is subtle and indirect giving the large reception area a feeling of space and tranquility. The living space is well-proportioned and attractively decorated in pastels. This Cannes vacation home is on two levels with white travertine polished marble flooring throughout. A paved terrace surrounds the villa on its two exposed façades with another table and chairs seating 8 people.
The master bedroom is furnished with a 160cm/five feet three inches wide bed (larger than queen-size) and adjoins a small dressing room with an ensuite bathroom. Upstairs there is another double bedroom ensuite and two twin bedrooms, another bathroom plus a separate toilet One of the twin bedrooms has a roof garden which is perfect for sunbathing. This Cannes vacation villa sleeps eight in comfort and style.
Amenities include a large flat screen TV with SKY Satellite TV [does not include movies and sport packages], including an all zone' Samsung combined DVD/VCR, France Telecom Wi-Fi ADSL and an international telephone connection with three wireless handsets. There are Bose ipod speakers but bring your own charger. The villa is air-conditioned throughout with individual temperature controls in the living room and three of the bedrooms. There is also central heating.
Villa Picaud offers a unique, safe, downtown beachfront location. A pleasant ten-minute walk or a two-minute drive along the seafront to the Old Port of Cannes, the Festival Hall, restaurants, cinemas, casinos, nightlife and luxury brand shopping along the world-famous la Croisette and rue d'Antibes.
Elegantly decorated and furnished, the Cannes holiday villa is on two levels, the laundry is located conveniently behind the kitchen and secure garage parking in a separate building at the entrance to the private lane.
The flooring in the villa is polished white travertine marble throughout. An internal walled garden with a dining terrace is floodlit for pleasant al fresco dining during the long, warm spring, summer and autumn nights.

The Boulevard du Midi runs right along the seashore from this Côte d’Azur holiday home. It is a great stretch of fine, champagne-coloured sand several miles long; a place to lie and to relax, to sunbathe and to enjoy the view of yachts on the Bay of la Napoule running before the wind with multi-coloured spinnakers ballooning in the breeze, or to jog for miles along the beach. Snack bars, cafés and restaurants line the boulevard all the way to the Old Port, the Festival Hall and world famous la Croisette. The Villa is comfortable. I loved the secure electronic shutters that blocked out light and sound. Slept great! The patios are great for dining with flowering vines abundant. The kitchen, though small, was adequate with IKEA's best. The location is good - close to the beach and within walking distance to town. Nice big screen TV with cable. The hot tub was enjoyable after it was cleaned. Not so good - Hot tub had algea for the first 3 days and was off limits after 9 pm, 1 bath towel for the week??. Place was poorly cleaned, tile floors were filthy. Was instructed to put used toilet paper in waste can instead of flushing in the toilet of the master bedroom. Beach is 50 yards under the RR tracks and alongside the road, (not like the picture suggests) beach was about 10 yards wide on a good day. It get's cozy. On a bad day with wind and high tide there was NO beach, The beach chairs were of poor quality, broken and rusted. It took all day to wash a load of laundry. Overall the Villa was adequate but the price was high for what was offered.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers.

This is a gorgeous house in an unbelievable location. We had a great time and loved being so close to the beach - literally 50 yards away. House is really comfortable with everything you could need. Enjoyed the centre of Cannes very much and will definitely be back with, or without, the kids. It is great for both.
