This new home in Bayside Community is a perfect spot for a golf, tennis and beach vacation. The community is located just minutes from beaches, water sports, restaurants, the Rehoboth and Ocean City boardwalks and the Rehoboth shopping outlets. It features a Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, Har-Tru tennis courts, a fitness center, and a 4000 square foot pool with a jacuzzi and an interactive splash zone for kids. The golf course, which overlooks Assawoman Bay, was designed to preserve the natural wetlands and woodlands that surround it. A convenient free shuttle service to the beach is available in the summer.
The house overlooks a beautiful pond with a fountain. The living room, which opens onto a bright screened-in porch, has a convenient gas fireplace, stereo, flat screen TV, DVD/VCR player and large bookcase with great summer reads. The fully-equipped kitchen (with a breakfast nook) has everything from a juicer and coffee grinder to start your day to a blender to whip up those "frozen concoctions" at sunset. The first floor master bedroom has a king-size bed, flat screen TV, walk-in closet, a second closet and a luxurious bathroom with double vanity, soaking tub and shower. The second floor has a loft, two tastefully decorated bedrooms and a full bath. The loft offers a full-size futon sofa bed, a 27 inch flat screen TV and a DVD/VCR player. There is a comfy twin-sized cot folded away in a closet for an extra guest. Our house welcomes children of all ages and can easily accomodate two families. The dining table on the porch seats 8 comfortably.
There are a variety of restaurants in the area including Bayside's own Oasis Grill. Take advantage of Delaware's tax-free shopping at small boutiques or at the outlet malls. Soon to come in Bayside: the town center (offering a post office, cafes and shopping), a theater, an environmental center and a Harris Teeter gourmet market (scheduled to open this summer). Also in the area: Fenwick Island State Park, Trap Pond State Park (24 miles), Nanticoke Wildlife Area, and Assateague Island National Seashore (20 miles).
