  I have several issues with this unit and hope that whomever oversees this property will make the much needed adjustments...we personally will not rent from this owner again. The unit is very worn and the carpet was filthy. So dirty in fact, you almost didn't want to walk on it after a bath. The dishwasher was not mounted into the cabinets so when you pulled it open to load it the unit fell forward into the floor! Besides the dishwasher, we also found the kitchen to be very poorly stocked. We were forced to go to Walmart and purchase a frying pan just to cook a meal. I noticed that other guests had commented in the guest book that they too had inadequate cookware as well. The bathtub did not drain and after even a quick shower you were standing in ankle deep water. The door keys that we were left took several tries to even access the condo, many times you weren't sure if you could get back in. That was extremely nerve racking and inconvenient. Also, the sliding glass door was near impossible to open and close, neither of my children could even pull it open. It was so hard to use, we hated having to try and access the balcony. The bedroom had a TV, but it was not hooked to cable so we were not able to even watch TV in the bedroom. Also, the electrical outlet at the head of the bed did not work so you could not use the bedside light or plug in a cellphone to charge. And lastly, the air conditioning never seemed to cool the unit properly, we had to run the ceiling fans non-stop to cool the unit. I have rented condos in PCB for more than 15 years and found this unit to be one of the worst I've stayed in.

  Owner response: We were not aware of the problem with the dishwasher and the dishwasher has now been mounted to the cabinets. The carpet is cleaned every 4-5 months. It was scheduled to be cleaned and was cleaned on June 23. The maintenance company added drain opener to the tub which now flows freely without any problem. If the guest would have let us know about this during their stay this could have been taken care of immediately. The condo keys always opened the door. The guests were never left outside the condo with the keys not working. The TV in the bedroom is attached to cable as is the Living Area. The air conditioner has been checked and is working properly and cools the unit without any trouble.

  I just spent the weekend in this condo and it is absolutely lovely. Working with the owner to get a last minute stay was without a flaw. He was very accommodating and made checking in one of the smoothest I have had thus far. I spend a lot of time at the beach and staying at the Majestic was ideal. The location is great and this condo was perfect for us. It is right on the beach and everything was very nice and clean....much cleaner than other condos I have stayed at with much higher cleaning fees. I highly recommend this unit to other beach-goers and I am already planning future trips here as well.
