Master bedroom has vaulted ceilings, TV/DVD, walk-out balcony with chaise lounge & breakfast table, overlooking water. Open floor plan on first floor featuring brand new kitchen (with breakfast bar) and all new appliances, wall-hung Plasma TV in living room and a dining room table that comfortably sits 8 people. Full bath down stairs.
Finished basement includes enertainment area (inlcuding cable TV, couches, foosball) and brand new washer and dryer. Backyard has slate patio, custom grill/pizza oven and large stainless sink and work station, for taking care of the daily catch! Bikes are in shed for riding to beach, vineyards, Orient Point State Park (a hidden treasure) and more. Walk 3/10ths mile to center of town to enjoy great restaurants, antique shops, the famous carousel and the atmosphere of an old fishing village.
Islands End Golf course, on LI sound, is 1.4 miles away. 42 different Vineyards line the north fork and their tours and early-evening entertainment are so much fun. (Vineyard tour buses leave from Greenport.) Swim at either the Sound or Bay beach, both just 1 mile away. Walk to Greenport ferry and take it to Shelter Island ($1.00 & just a 5 minute ride) to enjoy great beaches, lunch,& sight seeing.
Continue on with next ferry to historic Sag Harbor and Hamptons,(15 minute ride). Visit the huge outlet mall and/or country's 3rd largest water park in Riverhead (15 miles). Drive 7 miles to Orient Point and take their ferry to New London and go gambling at Foxwoods or Mohigan Sun casinos, or continue driving an additional 1.5 hours to visit the mansions, tennis hall of fame and shops of Newport, Rhode Island.
