There is truly something for everyone here in our slice of Paradise -- come enjoy it with us. Our Sea View Cottage is only 13 miles from Pahoa Town with its variety of ethnic restaurants and health food bars or stay in and cook a tropical feast to eat on the comfortable screened-in lanai.
To care for this fragile ecosystem and our visitors, no pesticides, chemicals or smoking are permitted.
The Sea View cottage is called "Hale Haumea," for the Earth Mother, Hawaiian Goddess Haumea, who protects the new land created by her daughter Pele's lava. She is associated with fertility and creativity. This cottage was built by an artist as her retreat and studio and we hope that the beauty and awesome nature surrounding it inspires your creativity as well. |
