  • We have been enjoying Okaloosa Island for the last ten years and have always loved staying at the Island Sands. It's a very beautiful and quiet property for that perfect vacation with your family or a romantic getaway with your significant other. I must say that we would highly recommend this particular end unit because of the fantastic views! It's amazing how one extra window can really make a difference and Linda is wonderful to work with. If you're looking for a little piece of heaven you can't go wrong here! We will be returning soon...

  • Every time we walked into the family area of the condo the view took our breath away. The beach decor is very fun and the condo was very clean. The area was quiet, uncrowded and serene. If we wanted excitement we just took a little trip over to Destin and we were always glad to be coming back to Okaloosa Island...no traffic or congestion. This was our first time staying at a condo instead of a hotel and we will always try to stay in condos from now on. We were glad we chose to stay in a smaller building. It felt more like being at home. Linda made everything easy and was most welcoming on our arrival. Thanks, Linda, for making your home available. You are a great ambassador for the Ft. Walton area.

  • We cannot say enough about this condo!!! The view was spectacular!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It felt like a home away from home! Linda was exceptional to work with. Always very prompt, helpful and accommodating. We have only been home for 2wks and can't wait to go back.(We have already received our deposit back)There is so much to do around there. It was not as congested as Destin. I almost don't want the secret of this place to get out! It is too good to be true.The condo looks exactly like the pictures and is very clean and comfortable.   • We had the pleasure of staying in Linda's little beach paradise the last week of October 2008. We've stayed at many beach condos and I can actually say I enjoyed this one the most. What I loved about it(other the spectacular views of the sunrise and sunset) was that is was so close to the beach that you didn't have to actually be on the beach to enjoy it. Because of her second floor east end location, you can sit on the couch and truely feel like you are right on the sand! Linda is very easy to work with and very accomodating. We had our deposit back within a week. If you are looking for a quiet spot with views that are unimaginable, pick Island Sands unit 201 and you won't be disappointed! We weren't!

  • The views from this condo are spectacular. Having visited the Panhandle of Florida and Gulf Shores, Alabama over the last 25 years, this condo is just about as good as it gets for the price. It is well decorated, clean, and cozy. We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay in early November and would not hesitate to book it again. Many thanks to Linda and family for the use of the small piece of paradise.

  • My husband and I were priviledged to stay at this location during October of 2007. The view is absolutely fantastic. The building is only 3 units high and we liked that. I would prefer the 2nd or 3rd floor b/c of the view. This unit had a great location - second floor w/ a front and side view. I cooked while looking and listening to the ocean. The beach was clean and located toward the end of the island. There were many assests and we plan to return, when possible. Thank you for allowing us to visit!

  • My wife,son and I were priveleged to enjoy such a serene and radiant stay in your apartment on the beach. We were seeking fantastic views, some semblance of solitutude, comfort and quiet, and we got all of it with your place. We will both cherish the memories of the sacred time we got to spend together while I was on leave from Iraq. Since we spent most of our time in the apartment and on the beach, this location will be etched in the good memory picturebook within our minds for the rest of our mortal lives. Thank you for being hospitable and keeping a tidy and clean abode for us to enjoy. We would come back in a heartbeat. Gary The condo was very clean and child friendly for our toddler son. One of the best features of the unit, besides the view and the host, was the location. Being farther down the beach it was much quieter and less crowded than the area by the pier. Another big selling point for me was that the pool was not ocean side. Resulting in a much quieter relaxing time on the balcony. Thank you, Linda, you were a wonderful host! -Michelle
