We had 4 adults and 1 dog that stayed at this cabin the beginning of August for 4 nites. Ann and Jerry were very friendly and helpful. The kitchen is very well supplied- everything that you need is right here. Our dog loved being in the lake. We will definitely be back for another visit

Great little cabin

My wife, dogs, and I stayed 5 nights at the little cabin and had a blast. The cabin is very private and secluded. The cabin has its own private pier with a paddle boat & row boat for use. There are great little restaurants in the area to enjoy. Plenty of activities are the area with a lot of scenery for biking, county parks, fishing, Wisconsin's Concrete Park is a must see, and much more. The owners are very organized and the cabin has everything you will need. Really everything from a grill, firewood, fan’s for those hot days, fire pit tools for smores, coffee maker, drinking water, etc.

Recommended for:Sightseeing, romantic getaway, pet owners, families with young children, girls getaway, age 55+.

We just got back from a three day weekend in Phillips and let me just say - this place is perfect! It has everything you would need - and the owners were super organized, very responsive, and friendly. The super private area was all we could have hoped for, and had we not left the cabin we would probably have never seen another soul! You literally bring your clothes, toiletries and food (and beer! ) and they have everything else! We had a great time and can't wait to make a date to come back! It would be gorgeous in the fall as the view you have off the dock is almost totally natural! It is such a quick trip to town and all the local eateries, yet so secluded. Our two labs didn't leave the water!!! I would definitely commend the owners on a great place, perfect attention to detail, and their very welcoming manner! Thanks again!

Communication with owners was timely, clear and concise. The location was wonderful, on the lake, 10 minutes to town and a non-resort setting! It was private and quiet. The lake noise and traffic were low and slow. The accommodations were simple and clean, everything you could basically need was available. However, the fans were going constantly inside the cabin on our hot and humid days because there were no air conditioners. This was not a problem for us, but renters should take note. We loved the fact we could bring our dogs!!! The one thing we do wish is that the lake was in condition to swim off of the dock by the cabin...We understand the lake association has a plan in order to fix the dam and to control the weeds in the lake for 2011. So for swimmers this year you need to drive to another location. The upside is that if you don't have watercraft, a jon boat is included! We would definitely consider renting again.

I had the pleasure of staying at this great cabin for 3 nights in late June. The place was even nicer than we expected and had everything you could want/ need on hand. Fishing right from the dock was awesome and my dogs were in doggie heaven with the large yard and wonderful smells. Truly a peaceful getaway that I HIGHLY recommend. Will come back for sure! Thanks!

We (4 adults and 2 kids) stayed here June 6-9, 2008. We had a fantastic time! The lake is wonderful and peaceful. We watched loons and eagles, ducks and ducklings, geese and gosslings and even a mink running across the yard. The fishing was great from the dock and out in the lake. The cabin was comfortable and clean, perfect for us. What a great, relaxing weekend.

We stayed there a week in Sept 2007. Cabin was very roomy and quiet, with alot of privacy. Our dogs loved the water and my husband loved the fishing right from dock. We will be back.

We stayed for a few days from Aug 9th to the 12th, all we can say is it't just wonderful. Beautiful cabin, very comfortable, great fishing just from the dock. I highly recommend this to anyone who want some peace and quite, and wonderful views of nature, loons and eagles. Don't pass this by.

The cabin was private, nice sized and very roomy. It was the perfect size for a family with 4 kids and it is right on the lake so you could go fishing, use the paddle boat or let you dog go swimming in the water. i would definately recomment staying here.
