What a perfect setting for our team to be together. We had a fabulous time in spite of the weather! The hot tub soothed aching muscles and the TVs allowed everyone to watch their favorite NCAA games. We had our community Bible study leaders' retreat here and this house went way beyond what we expected! Everything we could have hoped for was logistically provided and every dream we had for our retreat was met! We were comfortable. We got to relax, laugh, eat, fellowship, and grow together in the Word. Your house proved to us that GOd is in the details! Every your red, yellow, and blue placemats went with our nautical theme! Our theme verse to our retreat came from Heb 6:15.

Thanks you for your spacious home. Our family of 20 enjoyed every second here. The house accomodated all of our needs above and beyond. Our vacation wouldn't have been the same without the beautiful pool and hot tub. The kitchen had everything imaginable for cooking. Countless memories were made here. The 50th anniversary would not have been the same anywhere else.

Thanks for the use of your BEAUTIFUL home. My family had a great time. I just got back from Afghanistan and this was my family reunion. I had a great time with the pool and hot tub. My wife loved the kitchen and everything available for cooking. This vacation was much needed! God Bless!

We're half way through our vacation at Footprints in the Sand and are already sad to be thinking about leaving the house. It's beautiful, well decorated, with extremely well stocked kitchen and an open floor plan. We have 18 people in the house and another 8 in the house next door. We've all spent our days at the pool, on the beach and patio. It's been great because the kids are in the pool all day, the grandparents can relax in the rocking chairs on the deck and anyone can still take an afternoon nap without being disturbed. We've taken long walks on the Beach morning and night. My brother is an Executive Chef and has loved the kitchen. Janet is great to work with and extremely helpful. We can't wait to come back and are thankful for our time together as a family at Footprints in the Sand!

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

This property is absolutely wonderful!!! Everything is well maintaned and exactly as presented in the listing--maybe even better. Bob and Janet are wonderful people to work with. The location is excellent!! I honestly cannot say enough good things about this property and our vacation week. We had twenty four family members ranging in age from 85 years old to 3 months old (six of them were seven or younger.) There was plenty of space, both inside and outside, for everyone. The pool and hot tub were enjoyed all day everyday (and the pool service comes 3 times per week). The ocean side decks and patios were used from early morning until late night. There was plenty of outdoor seating on the decks and in the pool/patio area. My personal favorite was the swing and the glider Adirondack chairs. I heard several people comment about how comfortable the beds were. The kitchen was large and extremely well stocked with cookware, dishes, glasses, silverware, bowls, pitchers, appliances etc. There is plenty of space for multiple people to work in the kitchen, and it is so open you can still ivisit with the folks in the dining area and living room. For our family members who flew from California and Indiana, the airport was an easy drive away. In addition to this wonderful property and terrific owners, we were blessed with perfect sunny days in the 80's. I would definintely recommend this property! I hope we get the opportunity to vacaction here again! Thanks to Bob and janet for allowing us the rent their beach home!!

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful beach house with us! All 15 of us had a fun, wonderful time walking on the beach, sharing meals, swimming in the pool and exploring the area. Shells, crabs, Skywheel, Margaritaville, shopping, delightfully tacky beach souvenirs--had a great time with everything! Granny (77 yr old) says she would like to come back! This is the first time our three families have gone on vacation together. What a beautiful house. We were so happy when we arrived and found such a wonderful home. We appreciate everything about your home. We have 10 kis with us and they loved playing in the pool, swimming, and using the hot tub. The adults especially loved having our morning coffe on the deck. What a beautiful view of the ocean! Thank you so much for making our vacation fantastic! We would love to come back next April.

We had a fabulous week at the beach with the entire family. Fun in the sun was the main theme. The youngest ones at age 2 had a great time playing in the sand. The other kids ranging in age from 6 to 12 had a great time in the pool and waves. The home was very well stocked and very well thought out. Thanks you for sharing your home with our family.

We had a wonderful family vacation from cousins to great grands and had a fantastic time!! Everyone will remember for a lifetime. Both of our son-in-laws are in the military and one family will be leaving for overseas for four years so this was even more special. This beach house is AMAZING. Everyone was in awe. We too like all the other families that have stayed here were totally in awe when we arrived. This beautiful place was way more that we expected. We were in need of nothing. We are here to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary so for me I'll never forget the day the little grandkids came back from a walk on the beach and were so proud to show us their sea shells. I looked down to see this beautiful 3 layer flat "footprints" shell. I had goose bumps thinking how this was so meant to be.

Words cannot describe how much this week has meant to me and my family. I began looking for a beach house in September of 2009 for my wedding. I came down here and found several houses but this is the house my parents picked. On Sunday, Setember 5, 2010, I married my best friend of 9 years on the beach in front of this house. Thank you so much for allowing our families to come together for such an occasion. This is a beautiful beach home and we truly enjoyed it. On the day of my wedding after the "I do's", my 78 year old grandfather in a wheel chair found a nickel where I was standing. He gave me the nickel and explained the significance of it as I watched tears roll down his face. I then realized that the nickel was made the year I was born (1984). I believe that the significance of the nickel and the name of the house "Footprints in the Sand" were 2 gifts from all of my loved ones who were in heaven looking down on us that day. I will never forget "Footprints in the Sand" and what it means to me and my new husband....Thanks again!

This is undoubtedly the best house. Ever. We had a girl from Louisiana here who gets to go home twice a year. When it was time to take her to the airport, we practically had to sedate her to get her to leave the house. We had to drag the kids to get out of the sweet pool and my hands are pruned from the hot tub as I am writing this. Thank you very much for being kind enough to lend us your home. It truly was amazing and I will take many memories for a long time from this. Many thanks.

Special thank you for sharing your home with us. When my mom called me in January and said they found "the house", we all became very excited. She said "it is named Footprints in the Sand".....tell me that's not a GOD thing. Unfortunately, she passed away a few weeks later (2/16/10) from her battle with cancer. So this trip has been very surreal for us and my dad. I brought her picture and set it on the kitchen bar all week so she could delight in seeing her grandkids, nieces, nephews, and children delight in all this magical place had to offer. A friend once told me that when my children are laughing, be still......because she is there. May God bless you!

We started out with a small group of 7 but thankfully ended up with a perfect group of 15 ranging in ages 70 down to a couple of 1 year olds. We all agreed that this was a fantastic, restful, peaceful, and FUN-filled beach vacation. This house is very roomy, the pool is lovely, and of course, BEACH access is awesome!!

In the year of two thousand and ten, The twenty of the "MAINES CLAN" came again, To Myrtle Beach for sun, fun and sand, Our footprints we left in the beach so grand. From sixty-seven to an impish age three, We lounged in the hot tub; we frolicked with with glee. We fished; we ate; we had lots of rest, The home that you lent us was just "The Best". The sunrise, the sunsets were breathtaking, The sunshine and blue sky were memory making. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home And thank you for reading this silly little poem! We have stayed at many beautiful homes here, but this one was truly our favorite. We hope to return with our four children and their spouses and our ten grandkids!

We were so happy to be able to visit your beach home with your mother and family. I have never been to a finer place in all of Frank's beach trips with his family. He has never stayed in a finer "hotel". We appreciate being able to come so much. We have enjoyed the sunrises and sunsets, the walks on the beach, the great shell finds, the wonderful meals and snacks provided by you two and the wonderful seafood eating at Sara J's. Thank you for allowing us to take all the wonderful pictures that I will share with you. Got some great shots--even though Mamoo wouldn't tip over her chair into the sand again and let me catch that scene. It was great having Bob drive us around to see the sights and Frank enjoyed sitting on the porch and the marvelous view of the beach and ocean. Ya'll are like family to us and we love your mom, Annie Laurie, so this was like being in heaven. Hate to leave! Thank God for the perfect weather. P.S. The homemade peach ice cream was great! We will be back to collect on the strawberry ice cream next time.

Once again everything was perfect. What a blessing it was to stay here with family and friends for a week! The Bennen/Swartz Family Reunion was a success! We had an incredible time at your house. It was my parents' 50th anniversary and they treated us to the week. It was simply lovely. Your house is beautiful and a great place to relax. There were 15 of us, including 7 children. We loved every inch of the beach and pool. The older "kids" really enjoyed the porch, watching the ocean every minute we could. It was our one year old child's first vacation and what a wonderful one! The set up is perfect for the little ones! Thank you and I hope we'll be back again!

WOW! We have enjoyed our time here so much! When we arrived we were told, "this is the most beautiful house on the beach." So true. Your home provided our family with memories and the time together we work so hard for--to see our children and grandchildren so happy and relaxed is priceless to us. Thank you for offering such a grand place to enjoy and share. We hope to return here very soon.

Family reunion with 21 people from Ontario, Canada. Your house is beautiful, the weather was great, the pool and hot tub were super. Nobody wants to leave. This is without a doubt the best place in Myrtle Beach. Thank you.
