We had a wonderful family vacation from cousins to great grands and had a fantastic time!! Everyone will remember for a lifetime. Both of our son-in-laws are in the military and one family will be leaving for overseas for four years so this was even more special. This beach house is AMAZING. Everyone was in awe. It is very well equipped and you seemed to have thought of everything. Thanks for sharing and making this possible. God bless you.

We all enjoyed your fabulous house! The weather was fabulous this week! Awesome beach time! Very much appreciated the game room, multiple refrigerators, as weel as the fabulous furnishings. Just like home--but warm! The kids enjoyed the pool as well as the beach.

We too like all the other families that have stayed here were totally in awe when we arrived. This beautiful place was way more that we expected. We were in need of nothing. We are here to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary so for me I'll never forget the day the little grandkids came back from a walk on the beach and were so proud to show us their sea shells. I looked down to see this beautiful 3 layer flat "footprints" shell. I had goose bumps thinking how this was so meant to be.

Words cannot describe how much this week has meant to me and my family. I began looking for a beach house in September of 2009 for my wedding. I came down here and found several houses but this is the house my parents picked. On Sunday, Setember 5, 2010, I married my best friend of 9 years on the beach in front of this house. Thank you so much for allowing our families to come together for such an occasion. This is a beautiful beach home and we truly enjoyed it. On the day of my wedding after the "I do's", my 78 year old grandfather in a wheel chair found a nickel where I was standing. He gave me the nickel and explained the significance of it as I watched tears roll down his face. I then realized that the nickel was made the year I was born (1984). I believe that the significance of the nickel and the name of the house "Footprints in the Sand" were 2 gifts from all of my loved ones who were in heaven looking down on us that day. I will never forget "Footprints in the Sand" and what it means to me and my new husband....Thanks again!

This is undoubtedly the best house. Ever. We had a girl from Louisiana here who gets to go home twice a year. When it was time to take her to the airport, we practically had to sedate her to get her to leave the house. We had to drag the kids to get out of the sweet pool and my hands are pruned from the hot tub as I am writing this. Thank you very much for being kind enough to lend us your home. It truly was amazing and I will take many memories for a long time from this. Many thanks.

Special thank you for sharing your home with us. When my mom called me in January and said they found "the house", we all became very excited. She said "it is named Footprints in the Sand".....tell me that's not a GOD thing. Unfortunately, she passed away a few weeks later (2/16/10) from her battle with cancer. So this trip has been very surreal for us and my dad. I brought her picture and set it on the kitchen bar all week so she could delight in seeing her grandkids, nieces, nephews, and children delight in all this magical place had to offer. A friend once told me that when my children are laughing, be still......because she is there. May God bless you!

We started out with a small group of 7 but thankfully ended up with a perfect group of 15 ranging in ages 70 down to a couple of 1 year olds. We all agreed that this was a fantastic, restful, peaceful, and FUN-filled beach vacation. This house is very roomy, the pool is lovely, and of course, BEACH access is awesome!!

From sixty-seven to an impish age three, We lounged in the hot tub; we frolicked with with glee. We fished; we ate; we had lots of rest, The home that you lent us was just "The Best". We were so happy to be able to visit your beach home with your mother and family. I have never been to a finer place in all of Frank's beach trips with his family. He has never stayed in a finer "hotel". We appreciate being able to come so much. We have enjoyed the sunrises and sunsets, the walks on the beach, the great shell finds, the wonderful meals and snacks provided by you two and the wonderful seafood eating at Sara J's. Thank you for allowing us to take all the wonderful pictures that I will share with you. Got some great shots--even though Mamoo wouldn't tip over her chair into the sand again and let me catch that scene. It was great having Bob drive us around to see the sights and Frank enjoyed sitting on the porch and the marvelous view of the beach and ocean. Ya'll are like family to us and we love your mom, Annie Laurie, so this was like being in heaven. Hate to leave! Thank God for the perfect weather. P.S. The homemade peach ice cream was great! We will be back to collect on the strawberry ice cream next time.

We had an incredible time at your house. It was my parents' 50th anniversary and they treated us to the week. It was simply lovely. Your house is beautiful and a great place to relax. This house is undescribable! Upon our arrival, jaws were dropped. This house has everything that you would possibly ever need! Great stocked kitchen...from waffle maker to crock pot. Outstanding experience in this house. Very decorative but with a personal touch..We are sorry that we could not book for next year.. it was already taken. This house is fabulous! We did not lack a thing. We wished we lived there permanently. What a treat for our family to experience. Loved the spaciousness. Every cooking gadget was available for use. Appliances were outstanding. Beautiful bar around kitchen. Very comfortable and clean. Decor was lovely. Clean, large showers. Glider chairs and swing on porch were favorites. Beautiful!
