We stayed 5 days here. I'll agree with the one review that the bed and living room furniture were less than appealing. For the price though it was a great deal. If you need a really comfortable bed I'd pass on this rental if the bed is not replaced. If you want an inexpensive bungalow that is in a wonderful central location to walk to many places then consider this. It was clean and well stocked. The beach is right around the corner and shopping is a short walk away as well. We spent little time in the house overall and didn't want to pay for a lot of house that we would never get the use of.

Recommended for:Sightseeing.

Wow- this is the cutest cottage in Cannon Beach. The place next door rents for $500 per night- this cottage was only $1100 for the week. We love this place- very cute and comfortable.

Our family booked a stay at the Yellow Rose in May. Given the price we were not expecting too much but we should have known better. The beds in the cottage are shot as are the couches. The cushions on the couches don't stay on under the slip covers. The TV would only work on half of the channels every time you turned it on and it was lacking a remote. Each one of these things individually could probably be overcome however add them all up and it would have been too much for a week vacation. We decided to leave the morning after the first night knowing that we'd probably loose our money. We asked the owner for a good faith 50 percent refund and unwilling to negotiate sent us $100. The owner asked me not to write a bad review noting that he is trying to keep the cottage funky like the CB days of old. He wants it to remain affordable for future visitors. That is fair but potential renters need to know what they are getting into. Rents will not need to skyrocket to make the small investment necessary to make the Yellow Rose good again. Bottom Line... the cottage location is great and would be a perfect place to stay if the owner made a small investment in the items noted above.

My wife, her parents and I all stayed at this awesome little place October '09 for a week. it was fantastic. great prroximity to downtown shops, market and pubs. very short 1-2 min walk around the block to the ocean. We loved our stay and can't wait to come back out again. when we do we'll book this place again.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Yellow Rose. You couldn't ask for a better location at Cannon Beach, being steps from the water and not far from Haystack Rock. We also enjoyed the convenience of walking 3 blocks to the Mariner market to pick up supplies and to the bakery - note; chocolate cookies were heavenly. We would highly recommend the cottage to our friends and we hope to make a return trip ourselves.

We stayed here the week before x-mas. My mother flew out from Boston to visit with his grandson on his birthday and for xmas. It is a very nice and cozy place. My son liked the cottage in the back. Just a short walk to the beach and not far from Haystack Rock. Also right around the corner from the shops. The only thing we missed was a fireplace. Oh well, can't have everything. But we enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone.

We have been here many times and always enjoy the great location to town and the beach. Once you get to the Cottage you will not need to get in the car again. The stay is very relaxing.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage.We could walk to beach or town in 5min.It was clean & cozy,the annex was perfect for 2 teenagers.Price was affordable for us(CB is so overpriced).Nice big kitchen,thanks to whoever canceled we totally enjoyed ourselves.Kids enjoyed the beach toys too.We will be back soon we hope please let us know if you have any special summer deals thanks so much. small note- more coat hooks? washcloths,outdoor chairs, blankets,update menus,extra key (we only had 1 and lock box would not seem to work?)
